I ordered a breakfast burger combo. I headed down the road and discovered that instead of catsup it had bbq sauce on it, and it was missing the egg. The person in the drive thru was the most unfriendly cold person...just a frown the whole time, no smile, no warmth. I will not be taking my business there again. If I could rate this Carl's Jr 0 stars I would. People think the owners are nice and friendly but that's them being fake, they're the cheapest people you could meet. Might as well drive further to clear lake because it's cheaper.I get sick after eating their food. A 1 star review for my experience in the store, but I will bump it up 2 stars for the fact that the franchise owner followed up with me. After the below incident, I went to the Carl's Jr. webpage, and filled out a feedback form. I got a call back from the franchise owner. I explained what happened, and he was very apologetic that nobody acknowledged my presence. Aparently there was a language barrier between me and the kitchen crew, but he agreed that someone should have flagged down the shift lead to come to the counter. He also apologized for the manager, who he said is new, and is still a little "rough around the edges." Hey, I understand... *I* am far from perfect. Everyone can have a bad day... He said he will talk to the restaurant crew. Based on the fact that he was willing to follow up with me, I will give the place another try the next time I am passing by ========================================== Not a very good experience at all. I stood there, and nobody came to the counter. I politely said, "hello, hello," they looked right at me and didn't even acknowledge that I was standing there. No "I will be right with you", no "Please use the app", nothing. I just grabbed a cold sandwich from the convenience store that this restaurant is a part of, and I left. I called back, trying to find out who the franchise owner was of the store, so I could tell them about the situation. When they answered the phone, I heard, who is it? Who is it? The manager came on the phone, and when I politely asked who the franchise owner was, was like "why? Who are you?" Ordered the prime rib burger meal, was charged for it. Received a regular burger instead, couldn't return it due to being on the road and already too far to turn back when the mistake was discovered. Guess I learned my lesson, always check your order before leaving, especially when buying the more expensive meals. Or just don't go there. Seems to happen a lot at this location. read more

Not sure why all the negative reviews as we've had good and friendly service. I used to love this place when they had the green burrito -- the nachos with real cheese instead of that slimy gunk really hit the spot when I was preggers. My son and I do make an occasional quick stop to get an order of fries while passing through. If you're in Blue Lakes, this is the only closest place you're going to find for a meal other than buying some snacks at the Country Market. There is a gas station in the same complex, mini mart, plus Baskin Robbins Ice Cream. I do love that they offer the low carb burger on their menu. Especially if you're gluten free or following a keto diet. Again, not fine dining, but in a pinch, it's cheap and quick for a bite to eat. read more

If you're crossing down hwy 20 and need a quick bite this place is a decent option. Especially if you want a Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Staff was very nice and prompt as well. They were out of a few items but I assume that would happen being the prime location they occupy. 4/13/20 Went through drive through window. Got our meal. The fries were cold and rubbery as hell. And my burger was wrong. So I said I'll pay any extra charge for the right one. Also letting her know if we can get new fries just looks at us with a blank stare.....giving us MAJOR attitude. Making a big deal. I just wanted my oder right and even was willing to pay the difference. She got my blood boiling. I didn't get her name...So we literally left. Normally I don't write reviews for fast food chains. But for the last 2 times I've come here the service has been horrible. I get it it's a fast food chain so the people working might not like being there. Even though, if you're gonna choose to work for the place you gotta at least fake like you wanna be there. Each time we went through the drive thru window, the people that works here are just plain rude. They literally let you, the customers know that they don't want to be there. Their food handling is horrible! My son ate there last night early and started barfing about midnight 5 hours after eating. Still barfing up food. Flu is not going around at this time. The worst! Unfortunately when you are passing through late its the only until ukiah or colusa. This is the first time I've been back since my review in 2018. Thought I would give it another chance. It was about four thirty in the afternoon and there was no one in there. The drive thru only had one car. As I was reviewing the menu, I took a look at their machine that cooks their burgers. There were at least 10 to 15 patties already cooked at the end of the machine and just sitting there in the open air. How long those patties were sitting there remains to be seen. A few minutes went by and a order came from the drive through, with the worker taking one of the already cooked exposed patties to use. I turned around and walked out, now I REALLY won't be back. On my way out, I noticed that all the napkin dispensers were removed and you only get them from the counter. Tight wads. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. As a person who works in customer service I find very ironic that they always close early. The last 2 times I have been to this location they were closed. Pulled into the drive thru at 10:01PM, they close at 11PM, and they turned off all the lights. Last time I went to dine in they turned the lights off on us and told us to get out.
