    California Classic Double Cheeseburger
    Wilson Z.

On February 14, 2025, I and my dad came here after filling $20 gas at Love's Travel Center. We drove from Boulder City, NV. I got a California Classic Double Cheeseburger, costed $3.89, Robert was the cashier, at 3:14PM. It was hailing a little bit outside. On the same night, I came here again for buying two double cheeseburges for our dinner, at 8:24PM, costed $7.78. Robert was the cashier again, efficient and great employee. We totally had four Carl's Jr on our entire West Coast road trip, this was the last. Dining area looked clean and not messy.

    What a deal!

General manager took our order and saved us money! I ordered a big hamburger with just lettuce & mayonnaise. Husband ordered chicken tenders combo, but he bumped it up to #15 which came with a cookie AND saved us $$$$! Very pleasant man! Both of our meals were hot and delicious. Husband shared his fries, but I told him he could have the chocolate chip cookie for himself. Next time we pass through Williams with an appetite, we're stopping HERE!

Seriously? One wilted piece of lettuce, and you call it a low carb wrap?
    Mister X.

I did a mobile order through the app. I walked in to claim my bounty. I stood there, literally for about 4 or 5 minutes, and had four employees, three of them making eye contact, that didn't ask me if I was ready to order, or if I placed an order, kind of just were filling other orders. No greeting, no big deal. The fourth employee, with a bag in hand, which would ultimately be mine, finally asked me if I needed to place an order and I told her that I did the mobile order. So she gave me my bag, and my drink cup. So I haven't had Carl's Jr in a while, but when I do, I always get a low carb wrap. As you can tell for my picture, I got skimpy piece of lettuce, that was completely wilted from the heat of the burger, might as well of just wrapped the burger in the paper and give it to me. This was literally the most embarrassing low carb wrap I have ever had. Unacceptable. I ordered the fiery Diablo Angus burger or whatnot, and I don't know if they just scorched the living s*** out of the burger patty, or if they just had one laying around in the janitor's closet, because it definitely didn't taste fresh, and for Angus beef, I could have swore it was one of those plant burgers that those weird liberal crunchies that hate meat, like to order, to pretend they're eating meat, while they sit around and talk about hating people who eat meat. Anyways, I had a 50% off coupon on my app otherwise, if I would have paid $15 for this garbage, I would have been really pissed off. The fried zucchini was the best part of my entire meal. The restaurant from what I could tell was really clean, but most of the people inside the loves, were at Subway. I'd say probably 10 to 15 people, with only me and one other guy inside this Carl's Jr. I doubt I'll ever come through here again, but I know I definitely won't order here again.

    I'm going to try it!!!!!

So it looks like a burger. It grills like a burger. However, it doesn't quite taste like one. I'm talking about the beyond burger that's become the new trend in these fast food chains. My burger was a bit mushy and looked "raw." I added bbq sauce to add a bit of flavor. For it to be fast food, it took about 15 minutes for my burger to be made. Restaurant inside the Loves gas station sharing the building with subway.

    Small Fries
    Karla M.

I thought this meal was delicious especially for being fast food and at a service plaza. It was my first time ever eating here so I ordered something safe--a small fry and the new hand-breaded crispy chicken sandwich. In my opinion, this sandwich was far superior than it's competitors such as Popeyes, Burger King, McDonald's, Chic-fil-a, etc. The chicken was crunchy and not too oily or not too much breading. The chicken was juicy, the buns were nice and soft, and the amount of mayonnaise was perfect. My only critique is that I wish the chicken patty would be a bit bigger so it would cover the full size of the bun. The fries were a bit salty but that's how I like them. They were cooked to perfection and brought a good amount for a small. I also tried the only rings and they're very crunchy, not soggy at all, and the onion stays intact instead of coming out when you bite into it. I would come again to Carl Jr's.

The space still has that nice rustic charm with plenty of seating inside and outside on their nice patio. Ordering, however, has changed. Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. I don't know when they decided to get rid of waiters and put all the pressure onto the bartender, but geez what an awful decision that was.

The setup is counter-service, and one thing that caught me off guard was being asked to choose whether we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs before we'd even seen either area. I picked upstairs, but after getting up there, I probably would have preferred downstairs. The upstairs bar was closed, which made the space feel a little empty. Food-wise, everything was just... mid. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with fries. The burger itself was fine, but there wasn't much flavor. The pulled pork on top was absolutely drenched in BBQ sauce that tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bottle, and it completely overpowered everything else. The fries arrived room temperature and bland. I ended up covering them in salt and dipping them in ketchup, which I rarely do. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The mac and cheese didn't taste fresh, wasn't very hot, and was lacking flavor. The chicken was decent, and the bread on the side was okay, but nothing stood out. The one thing I really did enjoy was the theming. The restaurant fits the Bearizona atmosphere well, and I appreciated the rustic lodge feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The ingredients felt low quality, and there wasn't any exceptional service to make up for it. If we visit Bearizona again, we'll probably eat in town before heading to the park. I'm glad we tried it once, but once was enough.

The big fireplace and water stream make it feel so cozy. As we usually do, we saddled up at the bar. Service was okay; bartender seemed tired and wasn't overly friendly. He was fairly attentive though which was nice. We each ordered 2 pints of beer; Sacred Saguaro Mexican Lager, Haute Lager, Beach Camp Honey Kolsch, and the Prickly Pear IPA. If you're a craft beer enthusiast like my husband and I, you'll find their beers to be about average quality, but still hits the spot after a long day outside. For dinner, I ordered the Caprese Chicken Sandwich ($15) which was quite good with a large piece of grilled chicken and a soft bun; I'd order this again! My husband had the Beast Brat ($15) and thoroughly enjoyed it. We then ordered a basket of tater tots to share ($5) and it was a huge portion; we almost needed a 3rd person to help haha. We then ordered dessert to go - Sweet Fry Bread ($10) which curbed our sweet craving when we got back to the hotel. Overall, everything we ate was honestly very good; however, I will say for the price, the sandwiches and brats should automatically come with a side of fries or tots. For a la carte handhelds, I feel the price should have been $12 each. The sweet fry bread was also a very small portion for the price which also left us feeling a price point of $6 would've been more appropriate. Despite our small issue with the price point and so-so service, we'll be back. Can't go to Grand Canyon NP without stopping into Grand Canyon Brewing for an ice cold beer and maybe some food too.

We're usually picky about Italian food and rarely order it from a non Italian place, but we've been on the road and she was starving. From the first bite she was hooked. Bursting with flavor, certainly part pork and full of herbs. Clearly made in house. My son and I split a margarita pizza and it hit hard. Paper thin. For dinner we'd need one each, but for lunch splitting it was perfect. Great flavor top to bottom. The paper thin crust, the tangy sauce, and good quality cheese topped with a generous amount of fresh basil. Bonus for the red hot sauce (green tasted artificial) which I grabbed a spoon to taste with as soon as we sat down, I love hot sauce. And for the classic rock playlist. Highly recommend for a quick meal.

I asked for coffee and she handed me a menu and she asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said I needed some time to look at the menu and she frowned and walked away without saying a word. It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.
