Extremely convenient pizza shop in broadway perfect for a post show snack/meal. They were so quick and efficient and you could tell they're experienced with the post show crowd. I do feel that the pizza could've had more seasoning or flavor but not a bad price for the location.

NY is famous for its pizza, and Carnegie Pizza lived up to the hype. When you walk into Carnegie Pizza, you order your slice(s), pay, and they heat up your pizza in the large pizza ovens. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You also get to eat standing up in the small space. They did have a few tables, but that's it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I chose to stand up and get the full experience. I got a slice of the pepperoni & mushroom. One friend got a four cheese and an upside-down, while another tried sausage & mushroom and eggplant. We all LOVED our pizzas! My thin crust was crisp and had just the right amount of sauce and melted cheese. Oh man, I should've gotten more than one slice. Thanks for the great pie, Carnegie Pizza!

I really enjoyed my pizza! Now it wasn't the best damn pizza of my life, but it was a solid choice for 12am in NYC. I have no regrets I'd come back here for a late night pizza run, I thought it was better than Joes pizza. The line for Joe's Pizza in Times Square was obnoxious so we gave Carnegie Pizza a try. There was hardly any line and the selection of pizza by the slice was excellent. We tried a pepperoni slice, a sausage slice, and some kind of thick, square, pepperoni slice. They were all very nice, especially the square one. We also tried some garlic knots which had a ton of garlic flavor. They were decent but not essential. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is limited seating but plenty of ledges for standing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't compare the pizza to Joe's but there is value in not standing in a ridiculous line. And the pizza was definitely solid.

There's no way to have guessed that the pizza place closest to our hotel would be such a hit. I went with a traditional cheese slice (well two to be exact). They were good and filling without being greasy. At only $4 a slice, it was also reasonably priced. I recommended this place to several other friends as well.

Delicious! Must stop in! Less tourist and more locals. Pizza was delicious, thin crust and crispy and a perfect crust. The ham and pineapple was delicious and there is not any red sauce on it. The pepperoni and mushroom was excellent but the jalapeño and pepperoni pizza took the cake! My first time in NYC was this past weekend, we stayed at Margaritaville Resort @ Times Square and conveniently around the corner was the most delicious pizza spot! We are proud to say we came back again again...and again...even the staff noticed ;) We had the plain cheese (the true test), Hawaiian, spicy pep (jalapeño), sausage pep, and last but absolutely not least the mouthwatering garlic knots. SO F'N AMAZING!!!

Right next to Joe's Pizza but better service and pizza. Cheaper too. No line and limited indoor seating but they had a lot of interesting flavors. The calzone was large and tasty. Our hotel staff recommended this place too so definitely check it out if you want an authentic New York pizza.

I absolutely loved Carnegie Pizza in NYC. The menu was a full display of different pizzas, which made it fun to choose. There were four of us and we all ordered different slices every one was delicious and perfectly cooked. They also have a great selection of drinks, including sodas as well as beer and wine, which was a nice bonus. The customer service was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were happy to explain the options. We were in NYC, and of course we had to have some pizza. I tend to like the holes on the wall where you buy pizza by the slice. Carnegie didn't disappoint. The crust was perfect, and the toppings were on point. What else is there to say? I recommend. Wanted to get a nice slice of New York pizza so I went to the highest rated place near hotel. Of course there was a line of kids staring at the board wondering what to order so I caught a guys eye and pointed to the pizza that I wanted. This place was not as crowded as the other pizza places in time square. Nobody is serving you, you have to order and wait for it. Luckily we were able to get some seats. Prices are affordable by the slice. I was expecting Italians making this pizza since I am at an Italian Pizzaria! Workers were blasting Mexican music in the back. Lol Overall I recommend. Can't give it 5 stars since they reheated my pizza with small portable oven. Was not fresh but still tasty. read more

My family and I are on vacation and wanted to try NY pizza. We wanted to go to Joe's pizza at first, but the line was way too long so Carneggie pizza was our second choice. I'm so glad we ended up here. The ambiance was small, but it wasn't bad and we were lucky to grab a table for 4. On to the pizzas. It was so delicious we had to get seconds. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the mood for pizza. read more

This is a great pizza spot if you are looking for a quick bite in Times Square! There are plenty of options to choose from, and we ordered the pepperoni pizza pie, a slice of Margherita pizza, and garlic knots served with marinara sauce. Each item was very filling for 2 people, and the servers/cashier behind the glass were efficient with our order. My favorites were the garlic knots and the Margherita slice, each were soft and flavorful upon being warmed. The pepperoni pizza pie was good, but could get a bit messy with the big bites you'd have to take and is on the chewier side. There is limited seating and there doesn't seem to be any restrooms if you intend to wash your hands after. However, most people tend to stop by to buy to-go, so you are likely to have seating if you plan to dine-in. read more

Visiting NYC (not our first rodeo), and stopped at Carnegie for a few slices. It was EXACTLY what we needed. Service was quick and despite the small seating area we were able to squeeze in! Needed a late night snack and this spot was open and not crowded! Lots of pizzas ready to go and they were able to serve our big group quickly. Only room to stand and eat but that wasn't a problem. Stopped by here while touring New York. When people used to tell me NY Pizza is really good, I never really believed it until I tried the pizza here. The dough was really crispy and light. Sauce and cheese was also perfectly matched. Now I really understood the NY Pizza hype. There was a line when I went but it tends to go quickly. Since Joe's is super packed, I highly recommend going here instead. read more

I stopped here while in New York and was looking for a good pizza nearby and was pleasantly surprised there was a small line but employees were really fast and was able to get through quick. I ended up getting a Hawaiian slice and pepperoni slice both which were good and big slices as well definitely would eat here again and if you see long lines at other places I would definitely recommend coming here and giving it a try as they have quite a few items ready to go. read more

This is a must try pizza when in time square area. We tired margarita pizza and garlic knots. It was like a taste of heaven!! They put the pizza and knots in the oven before it's served and that's the game changer! Perfect crust and sauce so delicious. I think I tasted the best garlic knots here! Need a late night snack after walking around Time Square? This place was it! My mom and I were looking for some good pizza and surprisingly there was no wait here. The pizza was super good and quickly served to us. Of course got a cheese pizza can't go wrong with that. I also got a slice of Buffalo Chicken and didn't know how it would be but it was delish. The chicken was nicely breaded and juicy. My mom got a cheese and a pepperoni, the only thing I can say about this is the pepperoni was okay. I personally like it a bit crispier but the pizza was good! Also the sauce they use does have a little kick to it. So if you're not into spicey I'd skip. Like most NY spots, it was pretty tight buuuuut did have a lot of stand up spots. There were a few table in the back. Which we did sit, and some spots you could just share the table. Place was super clean and the people working were super nice. read more

It was fresh slices of pizza. Located near the Nederlander Theater, it was open when the show let out so we headed there. I'm not Dave Portnoy from Bar Stool Sports, but I suspect this pizza is average. But they got it to us quickly and seemed nice about it. read more

We were able to walk right in - the shows nearby had not quite let out yet. Great selection, friendly staff and a fair amount of seating - inside and out. The pizza was good with several options for toppings. We had spicy pepperoni, buffalo chicken, and cheese and the garlic knots. Great New York style slices. They also have grandma and upside down slices, but those aren't really for me. The NY slice was just right for me. Crispy crust, minimal flop, flavorful but not overpowering sauce, and quality cheese. Much better option for me than waiting in line at Joe's for an hour. Seating is very limited, but there is plenty of counter space to stand and enjoy a slice. read more

Drunk & hangry me: omfg this is the best. /endreview Responsibly Yelping me (in hindsight lol): very much enjoyed the crust crispiness. Also, one of the better garlic knots that I've had in NYC (bouncy pillow-soft *and* actually really garlic-y). As for toppings, eh, they tasted below-average pizza-chain-ish. Not a dealbreaker though (I mean, it didn't stop me from accidentally mindlessly eating one of the pizza slices that was meant for my sister lolol). Ordering line moves fast. Overall a fine pizza spot especially if you want some pizza in a pinch in the Times Square area. read more

Stopped here for lunch on a wet and rainy day walking around. Was nice to come in here to the warmth for a brief respite and sustenance. Nice and bright interior and the spectacular array of pizzas in the glass case are the prime exhibits. Got a slice each of the Hawaiian pizza, cheese pizza and a sausage pepperoni pizza. Hubs really enjoyed them hot and fresh. Service was efficient. There is a little seating at the far end for about 15 or so. There is also a bar counter all along the wall opposite to the counter. Overall nice experience here and got our NY pizza fix in this trip! read more
