Nah, this ain't it. To be honest it could've potentially been a decent pizza, but first of all they didn't warm it up properly. Our slices were all cold, some didn't even have the cheese melted... They do have a huge variety though. Also, I paid nearly $17 plus tip for two cold slices and a pop, which is just insane, that's almost a price of a whole pie. Even though the slices were kind of pricey, I think they were $4-6 a slice, so they must've charged at least $5 for a can of soda? That's just wrong. Either way, this is a tourist trap. It's a great if you wasn't something fast with lots of options! I appreciate the amounts of pizza and different flavors they have! They truly did have something for everyone! I even seen a rigatoni pizza! It's a relatively large slice but for an average of $6 a slice ... I've had better as I needed at least 2 slices to get full. There is seating available and the men worker for a very nice. I love a cold beer with my pizza and unfortunately I didn't see any. The pizza was average overall. Good for a quick lunch. read more

I had a doctor's appointment nearby during lunchtime and asked the office staff for recommendations for lunch. Everyone praised the pizzas here so I had to give it a try. The selection is vast and slices are huge. The staff was friendly and prompt to handle my order. I took a slice of the chicken caesar salad pizza to go and the texture was still crisp a half hour later. It was quite satisfying to enjoy pizza and get greens and lean protein (grilled chicken) the same time. I would go back to repeat my order and explore the rest of the menu. read more

Really quick and tasty spot for NY style pizza in the Theater district. They have the thin and greasy (but actually not super greasy which I liked) type and also thicker kind which I particularly liked a lot with a super crunch crust and flavorful ingredients. Couldn't beat the price either. For two slices and a coke came out to just over $10! A steal for NYC! I was in the area and my son and I were starving. Yelp rated this #1 in the area and we were only a few blocks away. A Big Thanks to the YES for on point reviews...They don't lie. It's a small place and it was crowded when we got there. 3:00 and there was still a line. It moved quickly and we were able to find a seat inside. Great New York style pizza! Some unusual choices besides the typical cheese. Chicken, bacon, ranch, buffalo chicken, calamari pizza just a name a few. I had a slice of the Tricolor - a mix of Vodka sauce, tomato sauce and pesto. Cooked well, super crisp. The combination of the sauce was so good. Stopped in here after a Broadway show. It looked crowded but wow, they are super efficient and the line moved quickly. There is not a lot of seating available inside but a lot of people just grab their slices to go, so we were able to sit at a table. There are a lot of (partially cooked) pizzas there; thick crust and thin crust, with a huge variety of sauces and toppings. To be honest, we all just pointed at some slices that looked good. They put them in the oven and they came hot to our table after a few minutes. They were all great! The pizzas were generally $5-6 per slice. Big New York slices. We also got a slice of strawberry chocolate cake. It was good but it wasn't as good as the pizza. That is some good pizza. read more

Roma's is a small place with more types of pizza than one would think are possible. This of course is a nyc thing. Inside is tight. You fit yourself in then ogle the many pizzas on display, point to what you want, they toss it in the oven and you get to enjoy it. Fast and easy service. Staff keeps things moving. It was reasonably priced food and pretty good. I liked my chicken Cesar slice, was disappointed by the sweet chili chicken and enjoyed the bite from my wife's chicken taco pizza. How can you go to NY and not have a slice of pizza or three. Roma delivered. The store is very clean. The display case was very well maintained and showcased many types of pizza. Of course I had to try the meat lovers. I was not dissapointed. Crust just thick enough to hold the toppings with out too much breading. Generous portions of meat toppings. This pizza shop is great! They offer different slices of pizza that are delicious and fun. I ordered the Tri colored rainbow pizza with vodka sauce, margherita sauce, and pesto sauce and it was delicious with a different flavor in each bite! The crust is thin but the toppings are what makes it. My husband ordered plain pepperoni and it was so good! Who would think plain pepperoni would be so good?! My mom ordered the chicken pasta pizza and loved it but it is heavy so you likely won't be able to eat much after eating a slice of that. Service was good. We would all recommend! read more

The white was OK, but as soon as it got cold, it was kind of disgusting. The margarita one of the better slices I'd recommend. I was in NYC for a marathon race and wanted some carbs in preparation for my race and came across this place after leaving The MJ Musical Broadway Show. I was so happy I found this place because the food was absolutely amazing and my lady and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the baked ziti and she had a slice of Pepperoni pizza and some wings and we loved our food. I order a slice of strawberry cake to go and loved that too! There are tons of Roma Pizza restaurants all over New York! The one on 6th avenue has high remarks. This is the one on 8th Avenue! It used to be the classic goey Italian cheese pizza with a delicious crust. Having lived in nyc for 20 years! This isn't the classic New York pizza. In fact, despite heating it, the pizza was somewhat cold, the crust was not tasty and the cheese was not the classic delicious Italian pizza. The service was good, I got it to go. Even though they gave me Parmesan packets. That also tasted stale! Huge disappointment but this is NOT the classic New York pizza. Ambiance is classic franchise. Back in the day, these were run by old school Italians. This isn't the case anymore. Such a bummer! Cheese is bad quality, crust is not crunchy and sauce is bland. They need to use higher quality ingredients for the prices they charge.

I stayed in a nearby hotel for 12 days and I must have ate here at least 5x. The pizza is classic New York pizza, the big pieces that you fold to eat. The basic cheese pizza was probably the best. The meat pizza was on the salty side and so was the olive pizza. The chicken pizza was okay but chicken tends to dry out when baked. The mushroom pizza was also good. But what I really liked was their pasta which I got to go on two occasions. The olive oil and garlic pasta was delicious. I got it with spaghetti. It came with big slices of garlic and Parmesan cheese. They include fresh bread and butter though I didn't eat the bread either time. Also got their meatballs and spaghetti which was good. 3 decent size meatballs cut in half with ample marinara sauce. Also tried their small Caesar salad. It was big for a "small" so a bit too much for one person. It would be ideal for two people to share. Also got their garlic knots which are good right from the oven. They give marinara sauce to dip them into. Service was adequate. Not all of the workers seemed to speak English that well and were in the process of learning. Ambiance is adequate. It is a small space with tables that are close to the next. They do have a bathroom available for customers. I would obviously return when in NYC again. read more
