One of the four scallops in the "appetizer"!

Since I only live under 3 miles from here I frequent The Blue quite often. I just wanted to mention that I had the bacon wrapped scallops tonight, not only were they the largest scallops I have ever seen, they were cooked perfectly and wrapped in thick smoked bacon. The bartenders are always attentive and Carl the manager is always there for anything needed. The diners are a mixed group of workers, holiday revelers and regulars.

Came in for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. I was seated immediately and my server came over to take my order. I ordered the cranberry goat cheese salad with the added grilled chicken. The salad came out maybe 15 minutes later, but without the chicken. It took another 15 minutes to get the chicken added, but when it finally did arrive, it was delicious. The chicken had amazing flavor and a few crispy edges from the grill. The staff were friendly and apologetic about the mistake. I stayed for the caramel pretzel brownie a la mode and was not disappointed. The brownie had a nice chew and the caramel and ice cream were perfect touches. The area I was seated in was nearby the bar and you could tell that this was a place for locals to meet up. The tables were all clean, there were plenty of windows letting in natural light, and the bathrooms were also pretty clean. I'll be back for some BBQ, next time.

Great food and great service. I will definitely be going there again. I used to go there when it was JG Cooks and it has greatly improved.

At A-Pot, you're not only getting the usual options of meat, veggies, and seafood for your hot pot and grill-- you're also hooked up with a variety of sushi, sashimi, and deep fried food to fill up your plates with. I liked that their sauce bar is filled with ample options of sauces to mix and match whatever suits your tastebud's needs for the day/occasion. For our group, we loved the house special sauce to go with the grilled meat. What also wowed me was that they had a fridge filled with delicious milk tea/iced teas that you can take as part of your meal. I loved the Thai tea-looking drink as well as the passion fruit tea. Some people in our group also had taro and loved it. As for dessert, I love that they have a buffet section dedicated for sweets as well as a fridge full of single-serving ice cream cups. Of all the flavors, I tried their coffee ice cream and it was really good. Since our group was one of the first to dine there for the day, food was still pretty fresh when we arrive. The interior is spacious and designed like a typical buffet, so I guess there isn't much to write home about for ambience. Service was pretty ok, but we had to flag down the servers to change our grill pans and refill our hot pot broth every once in a while. Overall, I'd say you get the bang for your buck here. I would love to go there again.

Prices reasonable and only $0.99 for soft drinks! For was decent. I wish they had an upgrade to Waygu meats for higher quality but they didn't. Be prepared for at least two hours as you have to cook your own food. The service could be better. The waitresses were congregating together and talking and not paying attention to their customers. Their English is not so good and their menu needs to be properly translated as there were grammar mistakes. They should hire a professional to translate. Nevertheless the place has good food, good prices and I will definitely be back!

Our ask was simple as to replace ham with tomato. They definitely should look into customer service 101.

That was at least 15 years ago, but I'll never forget that. Anyway, I was surprised when my mom raved about Monarch and we pulled into PB's space. When we walked in, I asked the host for a booth away from the door (it was a frigid evening), which I'm guessing she didn't hear. She then tried to sit us two booths from the door, and my mom shrieked about it. It was the night before my dad's funeral and we were both very emotional, and the host was clearly and understandably upset that my mom yelled. I apologized and explained why my mom reacted that way, but the host literally didn't say a word back to me and then purposefully ignored us as we paid and left later on. We haven't had the support that other folks have in these types of situations, such as a meal train, so as such we had to go out to eat for food. Trust me, it wasn't my preference. Our server was nice but very green, and he had to go check on the answers to questions several times. My mom ordered broiled crab, which she loved, and I ordered a pasta special, which I didn't love, but I fully blame it on my own tastebuds just not functioning correctly right now. The manager who came over to check in was super super kind and empathetic as I sat there crying in the booth. I really appreciated that. Prices seemed reasonable and I would go back under better circumstances sometime if in the Glassboro area in the future.
