I've had several sandwiches from here, and still haven't had a cheesesteak yet!…read moreThere's nothing to dislike about this business. They greet you upon entering and are very accommodating. Everything is housemade here. That's what drew me in for a meatball parm, which was very good. The hot roast pork is delicious. The Italian hoagie had me taking an afternoon nap and smiling through it after eating it... But their hot roast beef is melt in your mouth amazingly good. I have never had a roast beef sandwich this good before... Do not choose what to have in the order I did. I could kick myself for not having the roast beef a long time ago.

We got a roast beef and cooper sharp cheese , roast beef with fried onions & cooper sharp , chicken cheesesteak with cooper sharp and broccoli rabe and a large order of potato wedges. The family that owns this is awesome. My daughter in law picked up the food and they gave her an Italian hoagie for free that someone didn't pick up and threw in some free red velvet cookies which were delicious! I asked my DIL to get dessert and she got a walnut Brownie, and a huge chocolate chip cookie. So yummy! Washington township location. Highly recommend great food great service. You won't be disappointed at either location as both great food and family run.

Really cool spot with good service and great food…read more I got the classic beef with the Florida style inside out. They also gave me a side of the house horseradish. 10/10 will be coming back.

I placed my order online and only had to wait a few minutes when I was there. One thing I wasn't nuts about was seeing a bunch of fries already packed sitting under a heat lamp when I got there. A young gentleman was packing the to go orders who seemed a little flustered which made sense cause it seemed there was a rush happening, but wound up forgetting to give me the side of cheese sauce I ordered. I should have checked myself so it's a little on me, but I did make it a point to ask him if it was in the bag and he said yes. When I tried the fries at first, they were actually excellent. Perfectly warm, crispy, and salty however after sitting out only for about 5-10 minutes, they took on a texture of staleness which was disappointing but I suppose it's from already sitting out under the lamp. I feel like if they were made to order, they'd probably stay fresher a bit longer. I got the roast pork sandwich with provolone and roasted red peppers which was very good! The pork was seasoned well, a little peppery which I love. Roasted red peppers were good too! As much as I loved it, it was absolutely swimming in juice or oil from the peppers so it was extremely messy, but again, delicious! We also ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich called the hoagie which was great. They make a wonderful cutlet! I'd for sure come back, but maybe skip the fries next time.

Having moved from PA to Jersey last year, I've been told by many that Pal Joey's is THE spot. This…read moreis the spot locals grew up going to, and still frequent for a classic nostalgic hoagie. My girlfriend loves their Italian, but I opted for a turkey and cheese hoagie, and a chicken cutlet hoagie (suprimo). Listen, I get it now. These were great sandwiches. They had so much flavor for the simplicity of the ingredients on each. The cutlet had great, homemade taste and the sweet roasted peppers were the chefs kiss. The turkey and cheese had the right amount of everything on it. The only thing I've noticed both times I've been there is that the seeded rolls are significantly harder than the non seeded. I'm not sure if they just sat out a while, but regardless it didn't take away from my experience, just something I noticed. Service is always quick and kind, and the inside has that old deli feel to it with some booths to sit in. Good quality flavor is always going to have people coming back!

Since when do you have to tell a deli that you also want lettuce, tomato and onion? Or, if it's not automatically included, ask the customer if they want it on their sandwich. I will continue to get their macaroni salad as that is elite. Other than that, I'm done with them.

I was warmly met and greeted, absolutely did not feel rushed, and left with a collection of different flavored marshmallows to try out. Mostly because I like marshmallows but I didn't think I was a big enough fan to warrant a trip to a place dedicated to them. I am here to tell you, I was wrong. Upon stepping foot into the little marshmallow cottage, I was greeted warmly and that is usually enough for me to warrant purchasing at least one thing to support a small business, but when I say I walked out with over $50 worth of marshmallowy goodness and have zero regrets, I am not kidding. We started out perusing the wall of jams, spreads, coffees, and non marshmallow items. We snatched up the carrot cake spread because my husband is obsessed with carrot cake and we felt this would make some amazing stuffed french toast in the fall. We also grabbed a bag of the sunset blend coffee beans from Hallowed Grounds Coffee Co. I then saw their signature marshmallow, which has caramel and is enrobed in chocolate with sea salt. These reminded me of a candy I love to get from a well known confectioner on the West Coast, so I had to grab one. Then I found out they make their own caramels, so I got a bag of them. I also chose their special marshmallow of the week with caramel and stroopwaffle pieces, the coffee dreams marshmallow, the mini smores, and the kandy kake marshmallows. Finally, we grabbed a bag of their puppy marshmallows for our dogs. We tried the Kandy Kake marshmallow and OOOOO WEEE was it amazing! I never would have imagined it would be this good. In fact, I am scared to try the rest because I just KNOW I am going to be in trouble. If you have avoided this place thus far because you think you don't like marshmallows enough, that may be a good thing for you because I guarantee you like marshmallows after you try these.
