Carpet Ninja strikes again! I originally reached out because I thought, "What a great name," but the strong reviews sealed it, so I gave them a try. So glad I did. The pricing was reasonable, and the amount of dirt pulled from my rugs was honestly disgusting, in the best way. If you have a dirt-paw pup like I do, you know exactly what I mean. Bonus points for using pet-safe cleaner, too. He's officially my go-to, and I'll be using Carpet Ninja every 6 months from now on. Highly recommend!

George was quick, timely, affordable and most importantly did a fabulous job!! He cleaned four of my rugs which I've never had cleaned and they look amazing! They are all vintage wool rugs and he cleaned them with care. He was in and out in 45 minutes and even cleaned the little carpet stoop in front of my apartment door for free because he had more water. He actually charged me less than he quoted! I will be calling on him again in a few months to clean my couch before selling! Highly recommend! Photos are from right after was so they still need about 4 hours to dry.

I wish I had called George first. Last week I hired another carpet cleaning company and honestly it looked almost the same afterward. Most of the dirt and spots were still there, and they gave me a lot of explanations about why carpet looks almost the same. They also charged me extra for high traffic areas. A week later I decided to try George, and the difference was incredible. My carpets literally look like new. Every spot that bothered me is gone and in general carpets look bright and fresh. George does the work himself, uses the best eco friendly products and takes his time to get job done well which I really appreciate because you get consistency and someone who actually cares about the quality of the job. He uses kid friendly detergent and checks with you if you want fragrance or not. You can see the dirty water and the lines showing how he went over every bit of carpet. This is his own business and he's been doing it for 4 years! Kudos for him driving around the bay all day for carpet cleaning. I'd love to consider him for my next carpet cleaning and maybe even for my couch since he mentioned he does upholstery too.

He was upfront about what stains he could remove and which ones were permanent bleach stains that he would not be able to treat. Nevertheless, my carpets are so much cleaner after his work. I already had him come again for our other room and am planning to book him for upholstery cleaning soon, too!

Excellent service! Right on time and had the best prices when I was shopping around. I sent a request for a quote through Yelp. George replied right away and I was able to get service within a day. Upon arrival he was polite and fast. He was able to bring a mobile machine inside the apartment and connect to our shower faucet for water. He also gave us options for a fresh scent or no scent at all. We opted for fresh scent. The carpet came out spotless and smelled really fresh. Would definitely hire George (as owner and technician) again and highly recommend. Communication was straight forward and easy - I even got a same day appointment with late notice, and he showed up during the estimated arrival time window. I really appreciated that I didn't have to give my number and call someone's office and everything was set up via Yelp chat. He was also courteous and professional. We had a fantastic experience with Carpet Ninja. He did an extremely thorough job on three carpets - deep cleaning each one and then carefully de-hairing them afterward. The difference was immediate. He pulled out a surprising amount of gunk and buildup that we didn't even realize was trapped in the fibers, and he didn't rush any part of the process. What really stood out was how helpful he was with pet hair. We have an 80 lb lab and the shedding is real - he took the time to remove the embedded hair that we haven't been able to get out ourselves, and the carpets look and feel so much cleaner. Professional, detailed, and clearly takes pride in doing the job right. If you have rugs that need a true deep clean (especially with pets), I highly recommend Carpet Ninja. read more

Excellent clean, fast, and easy. I had initially contacted another upholstery cleaner for a quote via Yelp projects, but had selected the option for Yelp to send my inquiry to other businesses. Out of the 5 businesses, Carpet Ninja was by far the best price, so I ended up going with them - no regrets! From start to finish, George (our technician) was very responsive and communicative. He was able to come the very next day, which was perfect for me since I had just spilled something on my lounge chair. After coming in and inspecting the furniture pieces I wanted to clean, he explained to me his process of using non-toxic chemicals which are safe for baby and pets. He also gave me a time estimation of the cleaning itself + drying period, which I thought was considerate. Oh, and he also wore booties in the house! Quick response to my request for quote. George was efficient, competitively priced, and successfully removed some stubborn stains in my light-colored carpet. I opted for deep cleaning over standard. He did say drying time would take 5 - 7 hrs, but it was more like 24 hrs, I think because the deep cleaning takes more water, so just be aware of the extended drying time. Overall, I like supporting small, local businesses and would definitely recommend Carpet Ninjas. read more

I spoke to quite a few other cleaning companies before settling on Carpet Ninja. These are the reasons I'll continue to use this company: 1. George, the owner, does the work himself so he can guarantee the quality of work and clear communication. 2. He gave me a quote and that's exactly what he billed. He never tried to upsell or make excuses. 3. George came with booties to protect our wood floors and moved furniture carefully and respectfully. 4. Most other cleaners would not touch our wool rugs, but George agreed to clean them and said it takes knowledge to clean wool's more delicate fibers. 5. I was concerned that water would penetrate the rug and damage the wood floors. He knew exactly how much water to use and still get the stains out! 6. Unfortunately, mold had begun growing on the surface of the fibers in an area where a couch had been sitting, so we knew the rug needed professional cleaning. From the start, communication with Rug Masters was excellent. I received a very competitive price quote, responses were prompt, and the turnaround time worked well for us. Jay arrived on June 2nd, right on schedule, to pick up the wool rug. After inspecting it, he discovered moth damage, which increased the cost for cleaning and restoration of the 9' x 12' rug from $480 to $600. Even with the additional repairs, his quote was still the best among the companies I contacted, and it included both pickup and delivery. The rug was returned to us on June 27th, and we were extremely impressed and satisfied with the results. The colors were vibrant, the mold spots and spores were completely gone, and the moth-damaged areas had been expertly repaired. The rug looked immaculate and beautifully restored. We are very pleased with both the quality of the work and the customer service. We would not hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend them!

I also wrote several texts clarifying his misunderstanding and called. He didn't respond at all. Instead I found an alternative who was happy to the work. After emailing this company, I received a quick reply, a quote, and flexible hours to choose from. George, the technician, messaged me several times to tell me his ETA. When he arrived, he showed me what needs to be done and what he would do. George did a great job and used a portable steamer, which was a little cumbersome, bringing it up the stairs and leaving my carpet more damp than a truck-mounted machine, so it took longer to dry.
