Alfredo was completely tasteless, fettuccine noodles completely stuck together. My husband got the seafood spaghetti with spicy sauce. Barely any sauce and no spice. Talked to server and he was very gracious. Took everything off the bill but the kids meal and drinks. Very good customer service but awful food. (forced to sit in the entry for 20 minutes while no one else was waiting & 75% of tables were unoccupied, including the one we were finally allowed to sit at), the host was hostile... aggressively demanding we "mask up" while SITTING!! And drinking! Then... Finally we were allowed to move 20ft to our table... STILL empty. STILL same 3 staff. STILL same number of empty tables around us... Smdh. (Why not just let us sit there 20 minutes ago, take our masks off, and enjoy our cocktails there, acknowledging the wait but being more comfortable, instead of forcing us to sit in the entry with masks on and get yelled at by the host every time we sipped our drink)???? No sense. No idea of making your customers welcome. Now we get to the food. Disappointing barely covers it. Disgusted is a better word. My Aunt & Uncle have been stopping here for almost 20 years on their numerous quarterly travels in & out of Denver airport. I picked them up this time, we stopped in as they recommended. THEY were even shocked. Their one dish (the mussels appetizer) that they always stopped in for, was just so wrong! Instead of a "white wine, lemon garlic butter sauce" we got a weird brown sauce that tasted like liquorish. It was just gross. No white wine, no lemon... It was disgusting. When questioned, the waitress assured us it was normal to put Pernod in the sauce (WTAF)?! WHO PUTS ANISEED LIQUOR IN A WHITE WINE BROTH???? Then my husband's steak (ordered medium well) was blood rare... raw.. but smothered in mushrooms and sauce. The waitress then asked if he'd like it "heated up." He requested a new steak, cooked properly. He eventually got a "new" steak, once again covered in mushrooms, THAT HAD THE SAME CUT MARKS IN IT!!!?????? I'm done. Made a special stop on the way home to grab a quick drink and a salad at the BAR TOP. The hostess(extremely rude) said that the bar was closed due to the bartender being "too busy" to handle any more guests....first of all, there were SIX people sitting there and second of all, where is the management to jump in and help in situations like this. Literally have never been told a bar top was closed during business hours due to the bartender being "too busy". When I asked for the managers card, the rude hostess pointed over to a shelf and didn't say a single word. Not an apology, not a let me get my manager, nothing. Sooooo bad for business. Was greeted and sat down as soon as I walked in the door. I ordered chicken Marsala penna pasta and a house salad. I had a coupon that if I bought a chicken dish I received a dish to take home for free. Not a bad deal. Marty was my waiter. He was very attentive, had a good personality and a nice smile. The menu offered many gluten free dishes. The Gluten free items were clearly marked. They encouraged you to disclose all food allergies. They stated all sauces were made in house. They don't have MSG in any of their foods. I had the grilled pork chop, salad and mashed potatoes. The pork chop was juicy with a slight crisp on the outside. 4 for the food and an extra star because of Marie's GRAND service. She is the best waitress I've ever had. Seriously. Checked in to make sure we were doing well. Offered drink refills, made suggestions...the whole 9 yards. She is awesome. We had calamari for our antipasto which was really good. The small portion was more than enough for 2. We ended up taking some home. I had the Pasta Weesie (Shrimp sauteed in a garlic, lemon butter, white wine sauce with sauteed mushrooms and scallions, served over fettuccine alfredo) was good. The shrimp was FRESH!!! The waitress, Marie, suggested I have it with the Newman's Own white wine and it matched well. Then I had the panna cotta for dessert and that was awesome. Wow! So first off, put in my order of Spaghetti and salad at 2:50pm and got an email notice stating that my order has been received by Carrabba's. Well, after 4pm came around, order still have not been delivered. Checked on yelp for a status of my order and it didn't show any progress of the order. Come on, it's Spaghetti. It doesn't take long to make. Well after waiting an hour, I decided to call Carrabba's to check on my order. Surprisingly the phone was answered 30 seconds into the call (nice job there)! After explaining to the young gentleman that I am just calling to check on the status of my order, he said he'll check in it for me and put me on hold. I waited for 15 minutes on the phone and no one came back to let me know the status. I hung up and called back, call got picked up quick again. This time a young lady answered and again, I stated why I was calling and told her my order info. She put me on hold, 2 minutes go by, another lady answers and says, "how can I help you." I told her the same thing, she put me on hold again, 3 minutes go by, what sounds to me like the first gentleman I spoke to answered the phone. I got fed up, and SURPRISE, there's my order at my door. AN HOUR AND 30 MINUTES LATER. FOOD LOOKED LIKE IT SAT UNDER A HEAT LAMP FOR SOME TIME. Recommendation: Don't order Delivery from here! Ordered the Fettuccini with Chicken Mushrooms and Peas and it was sooooo bland and dry and cold. I would say it was because it was To Go but my bread was warm just wrapped in paper. I got a Caesar salad on the side which was delish. I had asked for bread and dipping sauce on side but they only sent bread and the herbs no oil with it. I have been going to this Carrabba's for years. Unfortunately the service has been going downhill consistently as their prices continue to go uphill. I ordered curbside today and the order was to be ready by 3:37pm. I got in my car drove to the restaurant and the food was not ready. At 3:49pm I called inside because no one had even come out to the car. Beccy the manager which I've dealt with before comes to the door and yells over to me that the server will be right out and that she was on a phone call for over 10 minutes. I thinking. So what. I'm here waiting. My bill was over $60. I don't care about your other phone call. That's your concern. Anyway she says I will go help her pack up your order and get it right out. -Ten minutes later the server comes out. No apology. Hands me the bag and asks for my money. -I check the bag. No silverware, no bread, missing the drink. She realized the missing drink before I mentioned. -I expressed my disappointment for waiting 20 minutes. She offered to have the manager come out. The problem is that the manager knew I was upset because she came out earlier. SHE should not have had the server come talk to me. She should have initiated a conversation starting with an apology. -I've dealt with this manager before. She and the store ruined our Mother's day 2017. I've dealt with her before and she knows that I will speak up about the bad service. The fact that she didn't come back to talk to me speaks to her customer service skills. The food -As always the food tastes so good. BUT I spent $24 for the chicken trio and it appears that one of the breasts was cut in half. So small. -chocolate mousse dessert was at the bottom of the bag next to the hot food. It was warm and melted. Not good -Penne pomodoro was very dry. It needed more sauce. -Shrimp scampi was $11. It was packed in a small paper cup used for a side dish. Totally not worth the cost. I used to go to Carrabba's twice a month. After the experiences last year I was so turned off that this was my second visit back since August last year. Unfortunately I think it was my last. We ate an early dinner at this Carrabba's on a Sunday. The wait staff and hostess were polite and professional. The restaurant had some sort of sewer back up, so the whole place stank like an Iowa hog farm. The stench grew as you approached the kitchen and bathrooms. Yum! I was foolish and ordered the mussels in white wine and garlic sauce. They initially came out only slightly warm. Our server asked the kitchen to warm them up, which was nice of her. Unfortunately, only about 1/2 of the mussels ever opened up and many had chipped shells so it was difficult to see if they properly opened. As a result, less than half of my meal was edible. Plus, the mussels were a very poor quality and probably not healthy to begin with. My son's meatball and pasta were served lukewarm. My wife's pasta (a new dish with mushrooms and sundried tomatoes) was dry with little flavor. The chocolate brownie dessert was good. It's doubtful that we'll be back to this location. Other Carrabba's are far less stinky and serve hot food. Something about Aurora.... read more

I used to love Carrabbas. Sure, it's been a couple years since I've been but I never thought I'd leave so dissatisfied. Our waiter was truly sweet. We got seated by the hostess and it took a pretty long while for someone to notice us/greet us at our table. Our waiter came on by and asked if we were being helped, then took it upon himself to take care of us. We ordered the mozzarella sticks for appetizer and they came to our table literally a minute later and not even warm - that made me think someone returned this order or they were sitting out for a while waiting for someone to order them. For entree, I ordered the ravioli and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Bruan. The waiter came back to let me know they were out of the ravioli; I wasn't bothered by that - it happens! So I went to order the fettuccini with red cream sauce... first, it came with literally no sauce so I asked for more on the side. It took quite a while to get the sauce so my pasta got cold. I dont know what it was with the sauce and the quality of the ingredients, but it just wasn't good - inedible to me, which is odd since I love pasta! I didn't make a big deal about it, but the waiter realized I didn't eat it, which I felt bad about because he was greatly apologetic. We stopped over for a Sunday afternoon lunch, I was initially shocked they were open as I had heard they had closed permanently. I am glad this wasn't the case. We were initially greeted by the hostess with such a warm greeting you would think she knew us. We were able to be seated right away, which was amazing for us as we were past hungry and bordering on cannibalism. Our wait staff was beyond attentive, they were also super friendly and glad we were there. Our food came out promptly and was made to perfection. I was so happy to get the mezaluna pasta. Update: I came back a month later & ordered something different than my first experience here. It was so bad, I had to trash it & I can not stand wasting food. Looking back, I should have sent it back to the kitchen & ordered something else. It was supposed to be the half moon ground chicken & ricotta ravioli. It tasted very fishy. Extremely off-putting, they skimped on the sauce which was already very thin/flavorless & my side salad was also very disjointed. My friend's steak was completely over cooked - it looked like shoe-leather, but she didn't send it back, either. She got a workout hacking through it. It was nothing like the first meal we had which was a bounty of deliciousness. Our server was good, but the service our first time was above & beyond. Having been to Olive Gardens, Johnny Carrinos, Buci di Beppos, Macaroni Grills, and Maggianos, Carrabba's was the only Italian chain I had yet to try. Which is especially odd give that there's one about a mile from my house. Having how tried it, I can say: Yup, it's an Italian chain restaurant. I have to say that the part of Obamacare law that made calorie counts mandatory on the menus of restaurants with 12 or more locations has been a real boon for dieters like me and has made me interested in visiting chain restaurants again for the first time in years. Ditto fast food. The ambiance is a little nicer than an Olive Garden and the menu prices were accordingingly a little steeper. We took advantage of the evening's small plates special which I believe was three small plates for $12. Service and food were good, but nothing remarkable. I would be opposed to coming back if someone else wanted to go, but I doubt I'd pick it myself when I'm "feeling Italian". read more

Carrabas has always been a family favorite back East. Finally after almost 3 years in Denver decided to make a visit. Overall was a great experience with the food and drinks ! Service wasnt as expected. We had the Roasted Wings as our apperizer. Messy (like all wings) and great sauce!! Shrimp and Scallop alla Vodka and Fettuccini Weesie as entrees. Shrimp and Scallop dish was a littke flavorless but HUGE portions on the shrimp and scallops. The fettuccini weesie was the highlight of the meal! My husband and I actually ended up splitting it as we both loved it so much! Portions were huge so we left with two boxes of leftovers for later. Late post coming in hot! Started with the chicken soup which always tastes delicious and has a hint of spice in the back. It was slightly colder than i would've preferred. Enjoyed their happy hour which was our surprise on a weekend afternoon. Our chosen entree was the chicken trio with a side of penne pomodoro and the mashed potatoes. Both of the sides were colder than expected. The chicken breast's are always great temperature and share quality consistency thru all of their restaurants. We came here for a late lunch having just landed and we were seated promptly and served portions of bread with a tasty dip. For starters we got: 1. Three cheese and sausage stuffed mushrooms - Delicious, creamy and melt in your mouth. The creamy tomato sauce that it came with paired so well with the bread as well 2. Calamari - This was cooked well and not too chewy 3. Mozzarella Marinara - It's what you expect - cheesy goodness. For the mains we got: 1. Shrimp and Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka - This was also okay 2. A veggie penne pasta in vodka sauce - made upon request - This I found a bit dry and could have been better. The balance between the red and white sauce was missing, leaning more towards the former. 3, Margherita Pizza - nice, thin, crisp and a simple pizza to enjoy Overall, for a restaurant chain this place isn't too bad.
