I have been going to this restaurant for many years. I have always been very pleased and enjoyed it. today I went in and they must have a different cook because I was very disappointed. I ordered a pasta dish and the pasta was overcooked, and they also broke the pasta up into little pieces, which is a huge no-no for an Italian restaurant. They are not serving five year olds. the Bolognese sauce was way over salted. Overall, this whole experience was a huge disappointment. They need to fire the cook and re-hire someone who can do the job. I will not be going back. I have attached a photo of the spaghetti. Yes it is in a to go box because I brought it home. The birthday boy wanted lasagna so we decided to come here for lunch. There were only a few other tables seated when we arrived. So service was fast. It was almost too fast, as our food came out of the kitchen and left little room on the table! But that was because we were enjoying each course between conversation. Logan was our server and he was attentive and pleasant. Our drinks and bread were refilled without hesitation. Our appetizers were the cheese sticks. These were quite good, much better than I expected and I would come back for them again. The lasagna was just what the birthday boy had in mind. The portion is large and he had enough to take home. We've been to Carrabbas many times, always pleased at the quality of the food and the service. We're very particular. May 24th we had them cater a party for 15 people and deliver the food to our home. I was worried about the logistics of timing and the specific requirements. They thought of everything. They delivered on time, Food was still relatively hot (we're 25 minutes from the Cumming restaurant. They cook it all just before packing it to deliver. All the containers were marked. I had asked for some extra sauce and they gave me one quart, beyond what would have been extra. The delivery man was helpful. It was perfect. They were completely professional. Our neighbors offered lunch today nearby and we gladly accepted. Our party of four arrived shortly after 1 and were seated immediately. After our drink order we took some time catching up and browsing the menu. Everyone ordered lunch combos and my wife and I had the Caprese sandwich. I selected broccoli as my side and my wife had the minestrone soup. Soup and salads came out very quickly and I waited patiently for my combo. We were not rushed at all and declined deserts. I can't believe I have never reviewed this place since I eat here at least 3 times a month! The food is extremely consistent...and the staff is WONDERFUL! My office is in the same complex as this Carrabba's, so we bring clients often...and this is our go-to after church on Sunday. I love the Pasta Carrabba, Mahi, and Salmon. The salads are wonderful, and the complimentary bread and oil/spices are divine! It is always quiet, which is why I love coming here. We can have a conversation without loud music. read more

I'm a fan of Carrabba's and I've only ever tried their pasta for dinner, but decided to venture outside of my usual today. I got the new caprese sandwich lunch special which looked absolutely delicious online and seemed filling enough. There was a side option and I opted for a premium side to try the Parmesan truffle fries as they just looked that good. However when I received I was disappointed. The sandwich was like a kids meal, there was barely anything in it. It was more like a snack. The fries were just regular fries thrown with parmesan. The sandwich was tasty. It was drastically different from what the website mentioned. I don't know if it was a lunch time thing or what, but I will not be getting this again. read more

We ordered delivery and for the most part everything was delicious. I really enjoyed the chicken parm and the nice crust but it was on the verge of being burnt. My boyfriend thought the veal was a little chewy but I enjoyed it. Stuffed mushrooms were just ok. Caesar salad was delicious and the croutons tasted great. This was a take out order.... The bread was amazing, warm and soft! They provided a packet of olive oil and fresh pepper. While the oil was outstanding it appears that they have reduced the amount olive oil. But again very good! My main course was a new Maui Wulfe. Very flavorful, they accommodated me by putting the toppings on the side. The fish was a little over cooked but again this was take out! It came with garlic mashed potatoes wihich I would recommend! The gluten free pasta is now bowtie, which is amazing because I've missed bowtie pasta in the decade since I've had to cut out gluten... They also made my pasta & veggie dish, as well as the chicken soup completely dairy free as well. Just order the chicken soup without the pasta topping! (not relevant to the review bc I know there's a brown rice version of the bowtie pasta but I don't like rice pasta & their pasta is NOT the rice version!!) I used to love Carrabba's as a kid so we ordered in more for nostalgia. Personally I found the food to be mostly bland and just not worth the price. We got the Italian Classic Trio with fettuccini Alfredo, chicken parm, and lasagna. I'm not the savviest of cooks, but I do better making these items myself. The pasta sauce just has no flavor for me. We also got the fritto misto and it was just so greasy and soggy. Lastly, we got the Johnny trio. Three stars because of this dish! I did like the chicken bryan, sirloin Marsala, & mezzaluna. I wouldn't go back just for this dish, but if you do have a hankering for Carrabba's, this is the dish I would go with! read more

This is a complicated review. The service was five stars but the food gets one star so we meet in the middle at three stars. I worked in the restaurant business several years so I was observing the chaos. It all comes down to the kitchen was simply nonfunctional. Our wait time for our food pushing an hour. It was honestly probably more than an hour. It ticket was not lost. All the tables that came in when we did were in the same boat. A party of eight that sat before us was still waiting on their food when we left. I really felt bad for the servers. This location needs help from corporate. End of story. read more

Our experience here on Friday was very positive. We did an early movie across the street and set out to get dinner afterwards. Well, we hit the restaurants just as Happy Hour crowd had descended on the area. Carabba's was no different. I called from the parking lot to see if they could put on a wait list before we arrived. They did. When arrived, they updated our "reservation". Their time estimate was spot-on. Oh yea, the food. EVERYONE enjoyed their respective meals. The Bourbon Old Fashions were very good. The soup I had ordered - Lentil Sausage - was way too salty so that was a definite No. But the house wine was good. The service lacked a bit. I was not on my server's radar. This is one of the hardest reviews I have ever written. It's like finding out a good friend has betrayed you. My wife and I really liked this restaurant, frankly the whole chain, as I have eaten at half a dozen in many areas of the country. Today's visit was very disappointing. But first the good thing; -great service -fairly short wait to get a table in though there over 30 tables available-odd -nice staff Major problems -food size has shrunk by at least 30% -price has risen significantly the last two years -the quality of one of the dishes was horrible, with Alfredo sauce so diluted by water, the sauce rocked like an ocean wave when the dish was put down. We had to soak up the sauce with the bread served us, never could get it all soaked up. -the waitress (who did a great job) offered to remove the price from the bill-but I don't ever do that. Complains shouldn't be given a benefit. We had them make it again, and we took it home. Really sorry we went, and have to now write the restaurant off our weekly eating. (We eat out a couple times a week) So I hope they get their act together, they will go out of business if by trying to control costs they sacrifice quality. There is a reason this place wasn't packed in the Bible Belt on a Sunday an hour after all the churches get out. read more
