Casual restaurant same menu and good drinks! When my car needed new tires instead of waiting in the crowded waiting room, I saw this place and headed across the street. When a party that comes in after you by several minutes receives their order before you, there's a problem somewhere. When you order a ribeye steak but get a sirloin, there's a problem somewhere. When the broccoli is warmer than your steak and sweet potato, there's a problem. We--a party of three--went out of our way to eat here, as we had received good food and service from this location years ago before relocating from the area. We won't be back. A side note: when Longhorn made the same mistake with my ribeye, they apologized profusely, and gave me a ribeye meal to go to compensate me. Outback deducted the difference plus a dollar. read more

In my opinion a lot of what makes a restaurant great is customer service and the experience. If you're treated badly, it really doesn't matter how good the food is. If you're treated great then it makes the food better. So unless the food is inedible. customer service is the most important thing. Since the manager of this location left, and the servers have changed, this has become almost unbearable. They used to act like they were happy to see us. We had great service. We went once a week minimum. They have some good things. Now we've been twice since Christmas. And I have no desire to go back. The last time we went, the server just didn't help us. We went to the front now to be moved and they just kept us at the same table but gave us a new server. OK, that's fine. This service was so bad. Everything was so slow. It was just as bad and tough as shoe leather! I ordered an additional meal to go that was supposed to be Alice springs chicken and was given grilled chicken on the Barbie. She was professional from the first 'what would you ladies like to drink? ' She could ascertain we had not opened the menu, yet she let us take our time making lunch decision. We made decisions from the Lunch menu. Great choices. Alice Queso's, with an all time favorite, sweet potato. Then the Manger Randal came to our table and ask about our meal. We have had several meals at this location, yet this was the first time a Manger checked to see if we were enjoying our lunch. This young man has all the characteristics of a professional people person. Astuteness , charm coupled with professional hospitality that assures anyone to return. Have not really had any good experiences at this Outback. I have both eaten in restaurant and ordered to go. Both were a disappointment but eating at the restaurant was slightly better than to go. My go to is usually a Filet Mignon but the last couple of times has been really disappointing. It's either been burned and cooked well done when ordered medium rare or just clearly not a Filet at all. I feel like for the prices this restaurant charges, the quality of food and service should be MUCH higher. At this point the only reason I would return is if I'm craving a bloomin onion since this is the only place to get one. But for a steak? No thank you. read more

Friendly service, and quite ok ambience that is definitely adequate for a chain steakhouse. The 16 oz bone-in ribeye was prepared exactly as I requested, medium rare. The steak was delicious in its category while, understandably, it would not not compete with the more expensive -- and more tender -- dry-aged prime cuts served in more luxurous places. My 2024 New Year's resolution is to avoid patronizing the Cumming Outback Steakhouse. I keep coming back because the steaks and sides are consistently good but the service, especially with curbside takeout is pathetic. As an example, today I pull up to curbside and get my food right away but then have to sit there for 20 minutes watching my steaks turn cold while waiting for my credit card to make it back to my car. I'm sure everybody is familiar with Outback Steaks. Decent restaurant, but nothing really spectacular there that keeps us coming back. We recently tried it again after a few years. My favorite item there is the Wallaby Darned Frozen Bellini drink. If you've never tried one before, I highly recommend it if you are a frozen drink lover! They blend the drink very smoothly, no big chunks of ice in this one! :). I would describe it as a frozen peach fuzzy naval drink with champagne all blended together and frozen. All I can say is Yummy!!!! Hubby and I shared a lobster shrimp/crab cake platter. I personally did not like the crab cakes, but honestly I'm very picky about crab cakes-these had lots of filler in them, not much crab. I'm a Maryland crab cake lover, anything else is imitation to me. :). Hubby liked them though and enjoyed the stuffed shrimp as well. The lobster was tasty, with melted butter for dipping. Salads are always good there. They add some cayenne pepper to their ranch dressing, so it has a hint of heat. Baked potato was decent. Our waitress provided great service, the atmosphere was nice. My steak was tough and dry. It was very tough to cut and was dry even though it was cooked medium rare. Another update! Timing is everything !! Back again for lunch with my mom who is elderly and very choosy on what she can eat. She loved the price from the last time she was here so we came back and our waiter John P(Daniel) was spot on one of the best waitress we had in quite some time. Got here about 145 in the afternoon, the lunch crowd was gone and it was quiet and John was at our table before the hostess left. She really like the fried shrimp for dinner so John arranged to split the coconut shrimp and fried shrimp for an appetizer or and she ate every bite which made me very happy and her as well. The pretzel bread and beer cheese dip was very good. Especially the pretzel bread which was warm and tasty and really hit the spot. I opted for the Ahi tuna appetizer and a Sam Adams and we had a great lunch. Again, I based my reviews on my experience and the food and service we got and I'm giving five stars again because three times in a row it's been spot on but reading other complaints I believe it's the timing. If you are flexible and don't hit 12 o'clock noon or 6 PM in the evening and can hit a little bit staggered hours, we have never had a problem here and loved every bite. I'll think I'll put up another picture I forgot from a while back of a renegade steak with side lobster and mushrooms and broccoli which I will let the pictures speak for itself. Very pleased here!!
