We ate dinner here back in October of 2018 and the food was great. The service was pretty good and the place was kept clean. It's a bit pricey, so don't expect some fast food like, but something with plates and somewhere you could take a date. Or you could do a business dinner here with clients. Now THIS was a pleasant surprise! I hadn't eaten at this chain in over 10 years! I went in looking for the calamari i dish that they used to sell, full of an assortment of peppers. Sadly, they no longer carry that dish. It was my favorite! Needless to say, the curbside experience was perfect. I had the Rocco salad and the wings. The shrimp and scallops on the salad were succulent, very flavorful, and hit the spot. I had enough food for a reasonable lunch and dinner portion. I love most Carrabbas, this is not one of my favorite locations. Staff are the biggest issue. Some are rude, some are clueless. We called to be put on the wait list, gave them my name and number.....it never happened. Why is someone who answers the phone unable to speak English? The service here is hit or miss, especially hosts/hostesses. We are avid fans of the food, so it's unfortunate that this is the closest location for us. read more

This is my first time at this location. I've been meaning to come by but it seems like every time I pass by the park Iot is always empty. And once again it looked that way again. But I didn't let that stop me and boy am I glad I didn't. The food was good.....not great!!! But good. I think little more something can be done to some of the dishes to make them a little more tasteful. This is the reason I didn't give 5 stars. Oh! Another thing my daughter order desert and tasted like one of those store bought aluminum pan pound cakes that's always dry. I have been patronizing the Duluth GA location for years and for the first time received the worst customer service when I placed an "order to go/pickup" on a Sunday evening. I ordered pork chops with gravy, mash potatoes and spinach. When I got there, a note was on the receipt stating "no mash" I was offered a different side at "no charge" ($2). However, when I got home there was no gravy on the pork chops. Instead 2 little side cups ($4.69) of mushrooms with very little gravy was in the bag. I called 770-497-4959 and was transferred to the night MOD "Carlos" who was confrontational as soon as I told him what the issues were. He told me "he packed my food personally, put the gravy in the bag and I probably got more gravy than if it was on the food". My complaint was that I was charged $4.69 for a side of mushrooms and paid $33 for a meal that was not prepared correctly. I would have accepted what he was saying if he hadn't been so dismissive. Called back the next day spoke to "Emily", asked for the day MOD, was told "the Mgrs. were in a meeting", and guess what? NO CALL BACK. I guess people who order to go are low on the customer service list. Should I use the term "discriminate"? Should I accept being told basically, "accept poor service and the food you got" NO SIR. I have to tell you the worst service and the food is fast food (they should just have a drive thru) Took over an hour for us to get our food when it came it was like Ragu and uncooked red peppers with some sausage. My husbands meal was a trio, steak, ravioli and bryan chicken ( the chicken piece gets smaller and smaller ) the steak was small as well, the ravioli looked like it was topped with Ragu again,. When we got the bill I gave her my dine rewards number. I asked her we had any rewards to use she said no. I told my husband that I know we had some when we get home im calling the dine rewards people... Then she said oh, let me double check and run it again...... My boyfriend and I went to experience a nice date night with a gift card given from a birthday present and was disappointed and disgusted by the behavior of our waiter. After eating we had paid with our $100 gift card on our $69 ticket and there was $30 left on the card as the receipt said. We waited for the waiter to come give it back to us ,so we sat and waited for someone to come over to talk to about it and it took 10 minutes of this waiter wondering around avoiding us for him to come over and talk. He finally came over and we told him the issue and he proceeded to act surprised then. Then gave him the receipt and he finally gave the gift card back like we had to prove it was our gift card. Tried again for dinner on Valentine night. I was surprised there were no waiting. Sat and order our food. One thing that was different this night was that somebody in red button down was walking around and greeting everyone, making sure everything was well. So our food was actually decent. I'm giving 2 stars because of costumer service. We dined in & sat for quite for time while out daughter enjoyed dessert. We asked our waitress Elizabeth I believe it was if we could do the $10/ take a meal home & she said she would have to ask her manager. Her manager Rachel said no because we had already paid. We literally was still sitting & our kid was still eating her cheesecake. Elizabeth never told us anything about it. It would be different if we had left, however, we was still sitting!! My husband and I have been going to this Carrabba's in Duluth, Georgia for years, however the last few times we have gone there, it smells horrible. The smell begins in the bathroooms of the restaurant and then wafts out to the whole dining area. It smells like the toilets are backed up, like there is a problem with plumbing, like raw sewage. The food and the service remain very good, and the lunch menu is priced so reasonably. It's a shame that they have not fixed this smelly issue. It is so bad that it takes away one's appetite. Please, please do what is needed to rectify this issue plumbing issue. A good restaurant should be clean, hygenic, and it should smell nice. This is awful! read more

Wanted to come today after moving back to SE. I used to work at Carrabbas and loved their food. Today was a let down. Service was very slow, fish was over cooked and too salty, had to ask for Parmesan cheese twice. Had to ask for bread refill. Had to ask for ketchup when fries came. Bathroom trashed as full and there were no toilet liners. There's was a bad odor also which another person mentioned from a month ago. And Birds Moretti: Italian Pale Lager bottled. Food is great. Booths are comfortable. I would recommend this place. Really good :-) Service notes: Improve on timing the dishes. Bringing the main dish right after getting the salads is too rushed at this price point. Ask the table if they are done before bringing the check. They may want desert!? You might make more money. One of the managers was incredibly unprofessional and offensive, and ruined the meal for our table of eight. Tonight I went to dinner with several members of my family. Some were from another country, and we went to this restaurant so they could try American food. The server was professional. We all ordered, and when the food was delivered, the waiter mistakenly gave the wrong food to one of our guests. In the server's defense the two orders looked very similar, and it was an honest mistake. And because this was the first time my family member had this meal, they did not know it was the wrong order. Several minutes went by and the remaining orders arrived. At that point we learned about the mistake. Initially the waiter wanted us to just exchange the plates around on the table, which had been dined on already, and he would add the correct type of chicken. When we told him we weren't comfortable doing that, we asked him to take the wrong order back, there was significant food remaining on the plate, and provide the meal we ordered. He agreed and took away the plate of food. A few moments later a manager walked to the head of our table. She was holding the same plate of food. She seemed annoyed and asked our table why this plate, as she lifted it up to us, was returned. We explained exactly what happened. Which she seemed to not understand, and she asked again. We explained again. And as the whole table sat there answering her questions, and wanting this to be a good experience for our guest, the manager stormed off. We later found out that the meal would be remade. So everyone else had dinner, and towards the end I paid my bill. Then finally, my plate of food came out to the table in a take out container. I just left it sitting on the table, I had already paid the bill, which included the meal in question, and we left. It was the most embarrassing experience I've ever had at a restaurant; the way the manager stood over us, demanding answers to a $23 entree they made a mistake on, and then storming away with no explanation, no apology, and leaving us with no idea how the issue would be resolved. The manager didn't seem interested in communicating how to resolve the answer, but instead embarrassed us by the manner in which she spoke to us and then stormed away. All of this in front of our family who had been excited about trying American food at Carrabba's. I have the manager's name and the business owner's name, and I will file a complaint. read more

We had a reservation and showed up a little bit early. A hostess asked us if a booth was okay. I asked if we could have a table since there were 6 of us. Shoving 6 people into a booth is very uncomfortable. She told me that they were getting a table ready for another party that was not there yet. I told her that we were there, the other party was not, could we please have a table. She told me that it would be 25-30 minutes. I told her we reserved a table and she told me we could have a booth and then ROLLED HER EYES at me!!!! I have 2 daughters. I was a girl once. I have zero tolerance for the eye roll. ZERO. I am educated with a BBA in management and am a licensed attorney. I did not say anything further to avoid her spitting in our food, but when we were leaving, I asked her for her name. She said she didn't have to give it to me. I went to the bar and asked the bartender for all of the hostess's names. He gave me 3 names: Natalie, Kate and Emily. I asked him where the manager was, he pointed to a man that Natalie was just walking away from. She was smiling when she returned to the hostess station. My party was outside, but I was still unhappy with the hostess's behavior and attitude, so I went back in and asked the other two girls what the offensive hostess's name was. They, too, were quite sassy, saying that I already got her name. Who hires these sassy, disrespectful girls? Who trains these girls? Do you want someone who rolls their eyes at a customer to represent your company? I will post negative reviews everywhere I can unless you address this failure to appreciate a party of six. Natalie's behavior (if that is her name) is inexcusable. The other hostesses' behavior was no better. I am appalled that you would hire such offensive reprobates to represent your company. As I said, I am educated in business management and I am an attorney. These girls are a lesion on the reputation of your business. You can do better, but I don't care. The food is good and is really a great value. The warm bread dipped in olive oil with their secret recipe herbs thrown in are delicious. The Caesar salad dressing is really tasty for a cooperate restaurant. You can actually taste the garlic and anchovies (just a hint) to add that nice hearty flavor. The stuffed mushroom caps with sausage are on point and the soup was good. However, the service was terrible. The tables next to us were left dirty (or unbussed) our entire meal. We had to ask three times for a refill and dad never did get his lemon. When we walked in, the restaurant was half full and it took ten minutes to seat us at a booth. Bottom line... a manager is needed up front to direct the teenagers they have working there. They have no direction and are trying to figure it out for themselves. I've been a few times and this seems to be an issue every time I come in. We will continue to come in as the food is good and it really is a good value but I sure do wish they'd get the front of the house in order. read more

Reservations made last minute. Excellent service. Tasty food. Entree (lobster ravioli) could have been warmer but was still delicious!

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon at 1pm and was told there would be a 25min wait. We saw several open tables and there was only 2 of us to be seated. We went elsewhere. After getting in the car I called to speak to the Manager and was told they were helping out the line and was unavailable and the person who answered the call offered to take my name & number. I asked why we're we told that there was a 25 minute wait to be seated. She explained that the kitchen staff was short. I explained we would have probably stayed if we were told that first. I told her this should be explained before giving a wait timeframe. Give your customers the reason why they will be waiting )especially when you have so many open tables), but we will be happy to serve you at that time since they were short staff. Please train your frontline staff or you will loose a lot of business and hire more dependable staff (pay more too!). read more

Parking is plentiful at this location and it is nestled amongst other businesses. Pay attention when going. Be aware that there isn't an entrance to this location from Sugarloaf parkway. Came by the other day (Tuesday) and ordered a meal for take out. I was super impressed with how they packaged and placed care in the containers. I posted some pictures, but never did a review. Most restaurants just throw the food in a container, then bag it up. . . Presentation still matters, we eat with our eyes first! Food from first visit: *=My favorite! *J Cole dessert (Apparently this was removed from the menu and recently returned) -Salad -Meatball appetizer -Chicken parm lasagna -Calamari appetizer *Mama Mandela's Sicilian Chicken soup -Salmon with *fettuccine side Taste? The three things that stood out to me were the J. Cole dessert (ice cream, caramel, and run spiced pecans). The Sicilian Soup (tad too salty) and the pasta. The Alfredo sauce was SO GOOD!!! Not like that jar sauce you get elsewhere... I mean it was really good! What really prompted me to write this review? The service!!!! After getting hooked on the J Cole we came by again tonight and had an issue (entirely on my part) and I have to say that Travis was the most amazing manager ever! 2 minutes ago My wife & I have been patronizing Carraba's for 30 years, we have been to their stores over 250 times with over 200 of those times at this store. I am personally sad at how BAD this Carrabba's has gotten. Last visit the Lentil, they for got the lentils and served warm, salty water and NO CHEESE was offered at any time during the meal. This has become the norm. I refused the JOHNNY PLATE because the steak was rare and the chicken was actually cold/raw in the center. The waitress offered a discount before I ever said a word like she was anticipating a problem. I replied that I did not want to see a manager, Please just bring me the bill. A minute later I spotted this woman STORMING ACROSS THE STORE TO OUR BOOTH. She admitted that the food was not cooked properly, she was rude (like how dare you complain even though I stated I did not want to see the manager) THEY HAVE NO RESPECT, THEY LIED TO ME, AND I BELIEVE THEY HATE THEIR CUSTOMERS. My wife and I used to consider this the finest chain in AMERICA, now we are looking for a restaurant that likes it's customers and can just cook as advertised. Finally I RECEIVED A BILL FOR WHO KNOWS WHAT. The bill was not itemized, just $41 with no explanation. I had 1 bite of the steak, 1 bite of the chicken (which I spit back on the plate. Carrabba's is probably my favorite chain restaurant as every location is pretty consistent with food quality and service. This location specifically has been good on every occasion. On this occasion we at at one of the booths in the bar, which is our go to seating, especially when they are busy as this section is normally first come, first serve rather than seated by the hostess. My preferred main course is an off-the-menu choice but I have never had an issue ordering it at any location - veal parmesan with a side of penne pasta with meat sauce. This visit was particularly good. The veal was tender and well breaded and there was a good sauce and cheese ratio. When I am with my family, they also love the appetizers so we always get a half order of calamari and half order of zucchini fries, both of which are delicious. Everyone else at my table loved their food and we got everything from mahi mahi to spaghetti. Also, their bread is always to die for. Finally, on another note, I have ordered takeout from this location 5+ times and I have only had an issue with the order once. I once ordered the family pack and got spaghetti and meatballs rather than meat sauce. I called the restaurant just to let them know and the manager, Fred, was beyond helpful and accommodating. So we made a reservation for my dad's birthday, but brought 3 extra people, so we had another 15 minute wait, it was a SUPER BUSY night, perfect time to get a perfectly made drink right? My gin and tonics were on point. So finally the whole family sits down. Our waiter was amazing, but gosh I sadly forget his name. Young guy with hair like mine cept dark... anyway, he kept our drinks filled and our orders came out perfectly. My friend got the chicken parm and we both agreed it was more than decent (I stole a bite). Uncle got the shrimp with asparagus plate which i tried a bit of, darn good. I went with the 'tapas' options to try things out, and they nailed it. Prosciutto wrapped grilled asparagus with provolone cheese, lots of cheese. 3 cheese n sausage stuffed mushrooms, had a nice tomato sauce with it. Italian lettuce wraps: romaine lettuce with chicken tossed with vegetables and ricotta 'salata' with vinaigrette and some kind of wine sauce. Rivals the taco (yes I said it). Everyone at my 14 person table loved their food, and despite being super packed and busy we were always attended to incredibly well.
