I had a truly terrible experience with Carrabba's today. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich lunch deal through DoorDash, which came with a salad, cookie, and drink. Since I had not eaten all day, I started eating quickly and did not immediately realize something was wrong. Halfway through the sandwich, I picked up the other half and discovered the chicken was completely raw in the center. I was absolutely horrified, especially realizing I had already eaten a good portion of it. I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager. The person I spoke to identified himself as the kitchen manager. Instead of showing concern that a customer had consumed raw chicken, his first response was to tell me to contact DoorDash for a refund. At that point, I honestly did not even care about the refund -- I was concerned about the serious health risk of eating undercooked chicken. What made the situation even worse was the lack of empathy and accountability. He never sincerely apologized, never seemed concerned about my wellbeing, and repeatedly told me there was no general manager or assistant manager available. Later, I called the restaurant and was immediately able to speak with the general manager, which made it clear I had been misled. Thankfully, the general manager, Julia, handled the situation much more professionally. She apologized, said she would file an incident report, and said she would contact corporate regarding a comp card. I appreciate Julia for taking the situation seriously. However, I am still extremely disappointed and disturbed by how casually the kitchen manager handled serving raw chicken to a customer. This was not a minor mistake -- this was a serious food safety issue, and the complete lack of concern or accountability was unacceptable. read more

Pretty Italian food from Carrabba's. I've never been here before but I appreciated the vegan dish, the linguini Positano and I added sautéed mushrooms. The sauce was really flavorful and the dish was huge as well. I asked for some basil and crushed red pepper flakes and I leveled the dish up even more. Super friendly, always smiling, and checked in often without being overbearing. Honestly, it's some of the best service I've had in a long time. I hadn't eaten all day, so I was starving. This review is for the monthly wine dinners offered at Carrabbas's locations twice a month. Each month they offer a set menu selected to complement the wines or theme of the wine dinner. Customers make a reservation for Tuesday or Wednesday and pay a flat rate plus tip and gratuity. The theme of the July dinner was wines of California. It began at 6:30 and there were two servers assigned to the tables for the wine dinner. They had a long table or booths seating six guests. A glass of champagne was poured for a welcoming drink along with bread and oil on the table. The meals are 4 courses including dessert. You can take home any leftovers as the courses are served on individual plates. They also give you a commemorative pin, menu card and they had a raffle for a basket at the end of the dinner. The pacing of the courses gave you plenty of time to enjoy the wine that was served along each item. The servers recited information about the entree and the wine. The pours of wine were standard for each guest with enough to savor. My meal was -Shrimp and scallop watermelon ceviche served with pasta chips -Linguine with Gorgonzola cream sauce -Parmesan crusted chicken with arugula -Grilled pound cake with fruit and whipped cream I enjoyed each course but the dessert was my favorite. I took home a good portion of the linguine and also the chicken. Each course was created for the wine dinner and the chef came to the table and talked about the food with guests. One big benefit is that you can use dine rewards credits toward the meal and also Carrabbas's has a program where you can take home an entree for $10. The caveat is that the take home meal cannot exceed the meal price you paid dining in. However since the wine dinner is $60 you get the run of the menu minus the standard exclusions. I took home a double pork chop meal normally $30 for $10. The cute little pin provided as a souvenir and the raffle were fun perks. I definitely will try this again. Some of the folks at my table return each month on the same day so you can join the club. read more

Yumtastic in true Carrabbas fashion! The restaurant was inviting, with a great temperature and super comfortable out of the cold. Our server, Dreamer, was the best! So friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, all at the same time. Our food was amazing. Carrabbas has some(if not THE best) of the best gluten-free pasta around! I saw a sign on the exterior that mentioned Happy Hour being a daily thing (which is rare in this area on weekends) so that piqued my interest in going in. After a 3hr+ delay coming from Chicago, I was famish! Not sure if it was being how hungry I was but nonetheless the pasta hit! My husband was already in Orlando for a work conference and so he managed fm grab some dinner for myself and our two year old. He snagged 2 pasta entree, calamari & wings. The pasta was phenomenal one was buttery while the other was tomatoey. Both tasted amazing. By the time I arrived the calamari has gotten soggy and lost its crisp which was given. Went to a taco event in Icon Park on a Saturday and had trouble leaving the parking lot due to heavy traffic. So, I decided to do dinner in that area and found Carrabba's only a 15 minute wait. After the wait, I was seated in a booth. I was very thirsty, so I settled on ice tea, which was not that cold until I got to the end of the tea, where the ice was mostly in the bottom. For dinner, I wanted something light, so I ordered the Tuscan chicken (20 dollars), which also included a salad and side. I did the Italian salad to start, which had good veggies, but the dressing didn't have much flavor. A couple minutes later, the Tuscan chicken came. It was grilled and seasoned, but not as flavorful that I had a couple years ago. For the side, I had the broccoli, which was steamed and a bit spicy possibly for the seasoning they added. The service was friendly and quick. My tea was refilled for free when i requested and I was checked on a couple times. The atmosphere was pretty casual and quiet, in which I could easily hear the Sinatra-like music playing in the background. For the price paid, I thought the food could have been a bit more flavorful. The service was friendly and helpful though. The staff predicted the traffic was caused due to the taco event, which I am pretty sure they are correct. I would do Carrabba's again if it was one of the rare choices I had, but would prefer the Olive Garden for chain Italian restaurants. read more

While walking on the Icon Park, I saw many restaurants with good food. Nevertheless, I always wanted to try this place and my hunch was correct. This location was short of phenomenal. The service from the door to the conclusion of the meal was indicative of catering to the customer. Today Travis was the server. Let me start by saying that his professionalism was very good. He was attentive, plus his explanation of recommended dishes was proper. The food was fresh and with the right temperature. I am a Huge Fan of Italian food and definitely I can advised on the knows of Italian cuisine. All the dishes ordered were proportionally correct with proper temperature. The ambience was very good and I can add that the table bussboy/girl were also very good. I felt very comfortable and especial for the attention. While I do have a suggestion is that Spaghetti stays within the name. A smaller version of fettuccine is not Spaghetti; however, overall, the food was very good. We sat down and waited over 45 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us, and that's just the beginning. After we finally ordered, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. The table next to us had been seated after us, and they got their food long before we did. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, bland, and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I don't know what they were doing in the kitchen, but clearly not cooking. Honestly, I would've rather just left and grabbed fast food on the way home. At this point, I was just frustrated and starving, but the entire experience was so awful that I'll never be back. When we arrived home, everything was there as ordered including olive oil dipping for bread, meals, and side salads. I will say, I was underwhelmed by the food. It lacked excitement and presentation. The side salads were flat and wilted. The bread was hard, almost inedible except the very center. We ordered the trio and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata was good, the trio was a let down. Very little portions and lacking of flavor for $26. Now, I will say, I think this would have been a MUCH better experience when food is hot and fresh in the restaurant so for that I will say I'd "maybe" suggest this but not for take out! read more

I've never been very interested in Carabbas because I feel like I can cook these meals for myself at home but after coming here for the first time I couldn't be more wrong. It was a lovely experience with delicious food and terrific service from Daniel and his trainee Crystal. You would never know she was training because she was so on top of our allergies and creative in customizing our dishes to accommodate us. Both of them made the experience. I had the Veal Marsala with a side salad and asparagus's. My meal was delicious. My boyfriend got Gluten Free spaghetti Bolognese with casarecce pasta along with Bolognese meat sauce. He liked it but wished it had more sauce. My father in law got the Tuscan grilled pork chops. Overall the food was great. There were only two things that I think could use improvement. When handicap guest come in try to get them a closer table... as it is hard for them to walk far. We had to request a closer table for my elder father in law who struggles with his cane as the host tried to put us in the back and it's already a long commute from parking or being dropped off. We had to request closer seating. With this move we were placed by that counter the servers use for various reasons. It's awful. I haven't been to Carrabba's in years but since I was on vacation and jt was so close to our resort I had to stop in and grand a bite to eat. We we told it like be a 10 min wait and it it was just that. Didn't have to wait any longer. Staff was friendly. Kyle was my waiter. He was amazing. I love his personality and energy. He was very helpful with any questions that I had and he was very attentive making sure I had whatever I needed. My good....oh my god!! It was soooo good!! Me telling you does it no justice . It was full of flavor and juicy! But there was one problem, one I got home I noticed my second chicken breast was not full I cooked.
