I want to preface this review with the fact that we had a nice dinner. Our server (tall male, bown hair, glasses, 30s) was lovely. He gets 5 stars. The rest of this review Id like to focus on the lack of integrity someone at this establishment has. My family was there on March 28 2026 for dinner, a table for 8 sat in front of the kitchen. It wasnt busy at all at 6pm and remained remarkably slow while we were there. We left after the UofA basketball game ended so ~8pm. My daughter got home and realized she left her purse there. She called, they confirmed it was found. We go right back to collect her little black wallet bag. She gets in the car and immediately finds the cash she had was gone and so was her gum. It was less than 10 dollars and while this is an issue of principle she was willing to overlook that--clearly the thief needed the 7 dollars and fresh breath more than she did. As a quick follow she locked her debit card. She woke up this morning to find that the Carrabba employee who stole her cash had the audacity to attempt to use her debit card. TWICE. Her drivers license was also in there. This is identity theft. She is filing a police report with OVPD and the Pima County Sheriff. I expect to hear from the GM at this location soon. read more

I really enjoy this restaurant. Sadly the food just isn't too notch. It's ok. The chicken Parmesan is just as the picture. Good portion! But my wife just didn't really like it. Personally I don't like C.Parm in the first place but I can say it looks just as they advertise. She may just need to try it again. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo. It was average. Lacked in some flavor but add some pepper and that helped. They have a H.Hour at the bar but the bartenders don't tell you about it. That was sad to find out after the fact. Next visit I thought all apps were on H.H. I just assumed so that's bad on me, right? After I asked about the bill I was told what I ordered wasn't included. I had the meatballs. Wouldn't make that mistake again. They were not to my liking at all. The sauce was good! But not sure what sawdust they made the meatballs out of. Sorry Carrabba's, they just didn't taste like meat to me. Won't stop me from going back. I love the sauce. Lastly, this is a FEMALE VETERAN owned and operated per their front door sign . Apparently they switched the name tags accidentally. Spoke with the manager who was dismissive. Instead of a refund, I had to drive 20 minutes to go back and have them remake the order. I ate lunch here by myself a few days ago. The place had just opened and was almost empty. Service was brusque but efficient. I had the chicken parmigiana sandwich with mashed potatoes ($15.99). We really enjoy this Carrabba's. We attended the Cask & Barrell Bourbon dinner on 11/18 with our group of 11. The atmosphere is so lively. The courses were tasty and all paired well with the drinks. This was a 5 course extravaganza: potato soup, chicken wings, rigatoni pasta in a creamy sauce with fennel sausage crumbles, Delmonico steak, and chocolate cookie for dessert. Everyone raved about the first two courses. The sausage in the pasta is sooo good! Definitely a fan favorite. Steak is always an ambitious undertaking for huge groups (probably 40 people in attendance) and that was the course I liked the least. Steaks ranged from well done to rare. We appreciated Greg sharing the tasting notes for each of the drinks we were presented! The service was off the charts exceptional. So much so, we let the GM know of how amazing she was! My wife and I dined at Carrabba's for my birthday yesterday and it was a fantastic experience! We don't normally dine at chain restaurants and I don't mean that to be insulting. It's just a statement of our dining habits. And I hate to sound surprised that it was as good as it was, but it really exceeded our expectations - the food, Service, and ambience were all top-notch! AND the drinks were great, AND the warm bread with olive oil and herbs was great AND we felt truly welcomed and appreciated as customers AND the price was reasonable AND they have a rewards program AND there's plenty of parking. Do I need to go on? Let alone the fact that they were open before noon on Sunday - don't laugh, but we like to eat early and we liked the hours. And I think their happy hour is every day, not limited to weekdays. The manager was great. He immediately greeted us, and smoothly transitioned to our excellent server, William. The manager was really welcoming (and helpful, for example, we did take advantage of one of the wine specials, but he also provided great menu information), but every staff member was pleasant (that includes a woman I think was the bartender). William, our server, had great timing, and kept the experience running smoothly - drinks, checking on steak temperature shortly after the steak was delivered (I hate being abandoned with an undercooked steak, hoping to be able to get a server's attention, as each minute feels like sinking in quicksand as the timing of both your and your dining partner's meals gets screwed up), acknowledging my birthday, guiding us through menu choices. Food was great. I got the Johnny Trio, which is a piece of the Tuscan sirloin (delicious, not over seasoned, and cooked to my medium well expectation), a piece of chicken Bryan (I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did, thought the goat cheese and sun dried tomato would be too tangy, or too rich, but no and no, it just worked really well), and a good portion of the mezzaluna (wow, that ravioli may hav stolen the show, which is saying a lot because the steak and chicken were great). In fact, portion sizes were excellent all around. My wife loved the lobster ravioli, too. Plenty of selection on the menu, too. Several pasta dishes I need to work my way through in the future (there WILL be future Carabba's visits), plus chicken dishes and even the Mahi Mahi looks great and people seem to love it. Really enjoyed the tiramisu for dessert. Good size, creamy, fresh, moist cake, with that nice little cylindrical shaped piece of chocolate atop. Tough call to make with that cannoli cake for two staring you in the face, but we all have to make tough choices. See what I'm saying about menu selection? Plus a good wine list and daily happy hour. Drinks were great, too. My wife had a smoked Manhattan and she loved it. Today was my 3rd visit to Carrabbas. I took my friend there because the food and ambience was great. But as in my previous visits, it was mostly empty, and I couldn't understand why until today. Our server, a man, had a serious face mask on when he took our order, but we let that go, assuming he might have a medical disorder and didn't want to contaminate our food. Our food came and it was excellent. He brought us the bill and it was twice the amount it should have been. We asked him to recalculate the bill, and he did, and it still came back wrong. We pointed this out to him and he came back with a revised bill that was finally correct. My friend asked him why he was wearing a mask, and maybe it was impairing him to be breathing his own carbon monoxide since he was having trouble with the billing. He said that it was extremely insulting to ask him that, and that he was deeply offended by it. And he wouldn't tell us why he was wearing a mask. We felt it was our right to know since he was serving us our food! When I got home, I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manger, and the woman said she was the co-manager. When I asked to speak to him, she said he wasn't there. When I asked for his NAME, she said that because of security issues she couldn't tell me. This is all kinds of wrong. It's a good restaurant, and the male co-manager is a good guy, but that server was a total dick, as was the woman co manager. We won't be back, and that's sad cuz the food is really good. read more

This was our first visit in 6 years because a good friend again invited us to his favorite restaurant. Right off the bat, I have to say this establishment just isn't our cup of tea. Given the number of five star reviews we are clearly in the minority. Service has been excellent during each of our visits and they are generous and timely in not just refilling the iced tea, but in bringing fresh glasses of tea. Why they scurry away with the olive oil for the bread is a mystery. The salads had a nice mix of greens. The entrees for this visit included lobster ravioli, salmon and branzino with the sauce option. Our friend's salmon was cooked as he requested, overdone. He was happy. My wife's lobster ravioli was a disappointment. No actual lobster was noticed in the thin ravioli. It contained what seemed to be a fine paste. The lemon butter pesto sauce option I chose for my fish was a mistake. It was more like a gravy and overpowering. I like fish to have a crispy skin. Mine was soggy. The fish was tasty where there was no sauce. I should have ordered it simply grilled. The atmosphere was pleasant, although the volume of the music made conversation difficult. The clientele was older and I suspect probably a lot were regulars. read more

Met with family for lunch, plenty of parking and we were seated quickly as they have spacious dining area with nice decor. Seemed like a light crowd for the time-frame, but it turned out to be a good thing as it seemed like a one man show as our waiter/server seemed to be the only one working. He was friendly and despite being the one man show, he was all over it. Super attentive, checked on us frequently as he took our orders, brought out the food, refilled our waters and the whole time kept up his good humor. We had a great time here for dinner and happy hour! They have a select happy hour menu daily (which I love). We got the mozzarella sticks for half off... so good! They were cheesy and gooey but not too greasy and the marinara is sooooo good. Our server, Sam was awesome. Very attentive and friendly and never let our drinks go empty. Excellent service. We shared a Cesar salad and the lasagna. It's actually the best Cesar salad I've had. Something about the dressing was different in a good way. It was creamy and tangy and delicious. The lasagna was the perfect comfort food. Cheesy and saucy.. yum! The restaurant was renovated since the last time I was in. It looks nice. Next time I want to sit at the bar for a cocktail. I placed a togo order for a family bundle of chicken Marsalla. My best friend had it in another state and just raved about how good it was. She said it was to die for. I've listened to her say it for at least 3 years. It was her birthday, and I ordered this as a surprise. The person who took my order was very nice and knowledgeable. When I got there to pick it up, everyone there was eager to greet and help me. The resteraunt was clean and well appointed. It smelled delicious! The lady doing the togo orders rang me out and got my order together quickly. I tipped her really well. When I got home, we served up our plates and we were all severely disappointed. This dish wasn't anything to write home about and wasn't worth over $100. Great place, atmosphere, and employees! But the food was only almost good. read more

UPDATE: I Have sent contacted you TWICE through the link postedand no response. I would greatly appreciate you contacting me back ASAP! Took my mom here for her 85th birthday. She chose this place. We went in and she ordered a prosecco and I a chardonnay. Both were bought to the table with a glass of ice. The waiter did not tell us BEFORE order that the refrigerators were broken. The wine was warm and we were to chill it by putting ice in it! NO THANK YOU!! Ice in wine ruins the taste especially Prosecco! We debated and got our tab (yes tipped the waiter in cash even with what happened)and went one block up to another Italian place and had a fabulous meal with cold drinks. WHY would the server not tell us the wines were warm?? There were maybe 4 tables in the whole place and would definitely not eat there if that is how they serve something as simple as wine, I would not trust the food. I reached out to discuss the issue with no response as I personally want to give an establishment a chance to fix the situation and no reply. Went in for an early dinner during happy hour and outside the entrance was a pair of signs stating happy hour 7.99 cocktails and discounts on apps etc. I ordered a shrimp scampi and a double Captain. The meal was very generous on the pasta but only a 2 1/2 shrimp? throughout the meal the server kept saying he wasn't trying to rush me but I definitely felt that he was. When the check arrived, I saw they charged me 20 dollars for the double captain. Food was comparable to Olive Garden but definitely overpriced and the drinks though average, I've never paid more than 14 dollars at local top tier resort establishments. What happened to the 7.99 cocktails?? Way overpriced for average food, drinks and service! Not being a Karen and publicly complaining BUT not afraid to tell the world about my experience. We just a got back from Carrabba's. And out of 10 I would rate them 100. Taylor was our waitress and was the best being the only waitress for the 1st hour. But she never ignored us. Then people started coming in both staff and customers and she never slowed down and was always on top of everything. Also the person that for greeted us was fantastic and made us feel at home. I haven't been here for awhile and I don't know why. But we will definitely come back with more friends. Plus the food was Excellant. read more

This is the second time we've gone, and if it wasn't for a friend that works there I don't think this would be a place I'd recommend. The food is good, but it's not outstanding. I do love that They do have lobster ravioli though, so that is always a plus for me. The focaccia garlic bread that we got as an appetizer was absolutely delicious and that would be something I would come back for for sure. They do have a good wine list and soda for the kids, but both times I've gone the ambience hasn't been exactly where I expected to be for an Italian type restaurant. What an absolute sham this business is. Wildly overpriced for low-quality food and drinks. I went here for a large birthday dinner. The service was GREAT, and that is the only upside. My husband and I ordered the basil watermelon lemonade. It came out with large, brown, and wilted basil leaves. You couldn't taste the watermelon or the basil. It just tasted like lemonade and vodka. Boo. We skipped appetizers and ordered our meals. I ordered the mezzaluna ravioli, and my husband ordered the prosciutto-wrapped pork tenderloin. My ravioli was plain awful. The ravioli are mass-made in a factory, frozen, subsequently boiled, and dressed in the sauce for a meal. It is not too far-fetched of a concept, and I didn't expect them to house-make ravioli fresh daily. But for $20+ for an entree, I expected better quality. They were less than a half-inch thick, with minimal flavorless filling and the texture of cardboard. My husband's pork was almost inedible. The prosciutto was burned so badly on the outside that every bite was crunchy and bitter, not to mention the pork was overcooked. He didn't touch the mushy broccoli or the awful mashed potatoes either. Our bill came to $67, over $80 with a tip. Incredibly expensive for a terrible meal. Again, the service was fantastic, but I would NEVER return. Olive Garden is far cheaper if you're looking for the vibe of a "chain Italian-inspired restaurant with frozen, reheated and possibly burnt entrees." read more

The food is cooked either way too much salt, the mushrooms seem to be canned and cozze in Bianco had the most delicious flavor, now it's salty and sweet , I didn't even finish it. read more

For our anniversary, my hubby and I decided to go to Carrabba's. We haven't been there in quite a few years. We remembered the restaurant as slightly "old and tired" looking, but the food and service were excellent. So we thought we'd give it another try. We were delighted when we walked in, as the entire place has been renovated. It looks very clean, stylish, modern, now. We were taken to a table by the manager (?) co-owner (?) (sorry, I didn't get his name) who was nicely chatty / welcoming. Later, when the kitchen needed another pair of hands, we saw him in there helping out. We also saw him chatting with various customers at their tables. All in all, his actions made us happy with our choice to eat at Carrabba's. And then we got our server, Michelle. Single-handedly, she pretty much ruined our evening out. Absolutely prickly with no sense of humor that I could see. She made it a point to ensure that I knew I was in error (not her) when I mistakenly asked for a wine by the wrong name. She acted like I was arguing with her, but I wasn't. I was just trying to work out what I thought I'd seen on the menu. And yes, I was wrong, but sorry..servers shouldn't get snippy. She could have just told me what its name was, instead of flouncing off to get the menu to slap back down on the table, basically to prove she was right. She made sure to tell me she had worked there a very long time, so she knew what was on the menu. Ok..so why didn't she just tell me the name of it, since I said it was the one right under the one I had tasted? She never once refilled our water glasses; didn't ask if we wanted dessert, before bringing the check; and just generally acted put out with me/us. But the real issue I have with her attitude came when she dropped a plate while walking towards me. The spray of ceramic shatters hit the seat I was on (we were in a booth), went all up my left arm and the left side of my face, and across the table. Instead of asking if I was alright, she proclaimed that I was. She insisted the plate split cleanly in half and there was nothing wrong. When I said the pieces had hit me, she became agitated and agressive, especially when I said something about the little pieces all over the table. She nastily asked if I wanted to move to another table while we closed out our check "if I wanted to make an issue of it". Really? Shaming me for saying how far the bits flew, like I was at fault..again. Truly, it was no little thing. When we got in our car after, my hubz actually found a good sized piece of shard in his shirt pocket! (See attached photo.) That's how far they flew and bounced off surfaces. She didn't apologize or seem to care. Now, I know everyone has bad days, but sorry. Being rude and snippy is one thing, getting agressive with someone who was just showered in ceramic shards is not acceptable. And now that I got that off my chest, I do want to say that the place is clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious and plentiful. If we go back, we will make sure to sit in an area with a different server! read more

We have never had a bad experience at Carrabba's until Thursday night. I had made reservations for 8. We walked in exactly on time. They showed our reservation, but no tables were set up. It took about 15 minutes to get tables set up for our group. We ordered drinks. Several sodas, a wine, a Michelin Ultra and two flavors of Sangria. The waitress leaves and then quickly returns to tell us they no longer offer Michelin and they have no sangria in any flavor. We ordered our meals. Two people ordered lasagna. One ordered Fettucini Pescado. The waitress came back and said they were no longer offering mussels in any of their dishes. Could they substitute additional shrimp. Also, they only had one piece of lasagna. Was the restaurant ready to serve people? No Sangria, no lasagna, no mussels. Our waitress was wonderful, but after having so much disappointment, it would have been nice to have a manager come over and at lest offer an apology. We will probably never go back. read more

Not the waiters fault; it took almost an hour to get our salads, and took another 45 minutes to get our main meal; some of which were cold. This has been my absolutly favorite place for Chicken Marsala, we were there today the chicken was delicious very juicy but tje Marsala sauce nothing to do with what they used to serve.
