DiBella's in Oro Valley is one of those breakfast-and-lunch spots that makes you want to cancel the rest of your day and just... linger. They're typically open for breakfast and lunch, though I hear they'll accommodate larger groups after 4 p.m. if needed. Either way, this place knows its lane and executes it extremely well. The menu is massive. Like, decision-paralysis massive. That said, based on what we ordered, I feel very comfortable betting that everything on that menu is a winner. We started with the green chili nachos, and let me tell you this was not a light appetizer. Loaded with pulled pork, smothered in melted cheese, and topped with some kind of sauce situation (cilantro? ranch-adjacent? mystery magic?), it was absolutely phenomenal. Whatever it was, it worked. Boldly. For mains, we ordered the Morning Mess and the berry cheesecake pancakes. The Morning Mess is exactly what you want it to be: bread absolutely drenched in sausage gravy, rich, comforting, and impossible to mess up, which they did not. The berry cheesecake pancakes, however, deserve their own paragraph. These things were enormous literally plate-sized with what appeared to be cheesecake layered between the pancakes, then topped with blueberries, strawberries, and whipped cream. Over-the-top in the best way. Indulgent. Ridiculous. Amazeballs. We sat on the patio and didn't even go inside, but the service alone sold us. Our waitress, Julie, was fantastic, warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Honestly, everyone there was incredibly friendly. At one point, they even moved a heater closer to us which was such a thoughtful touch. And we were warned about the food wait due to a large party ahead. Bonus points: they have a dog-friendly menu, which is adorable and tells you everything you need to know about their vibe. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Fate or destiny directed us to Dibella's this morning when we found out that our first-choice (original destination) only serves brunch on the weekend. DeBella's was close by, it looked welcoming... and I seemed to recall that someone we know had suggested it to us as a good place for a hearty breakfast. So we gave it a go. The staff is notably friendly and gives off a, "sincerely happy to be here" energy. They work hard, and it felt like they had their, "server-radar" working today, as items (jam for my toast, and a new napkin) were brought out and offered before I asked for them. This may seem like a dumb thing to notice, but I always appreciate it when waitstaff is tuned-in to their customers (*as opposed to being tuned-in to their I-phones or when they chit-chat endlessly). After studying the menu for a bit, I opted for the chicken-fried steak. My wife gave "The Classic" a shot, and we both ended up enjoying our food and found our meals to be tasty and filling. A smoking-deal on Bloody-Marys (only $5!!), was one of the day's specials, so although I normally find them to be, "just okay", I mirrored my wife when she said she'd like one. I have not had that many BM's in my life (oh, wait--that's a terrible abbreviation for a "Bloody Mary"). Anyways, this drink was really good, and is officially in contention for the best one that I have ever sipped. The place is comfortable and welcoming and has cute decorations. My only knock on the DeBella's is that the prices are a bit high for my liking. My wife and I ended up spending close to fifty dollars before the dust settled on our bill. Aside from that, (and with the economy in these post-covid day being what it is, maybe that is what a sit-down breakfast is going to cost). I really enjoyed everything and would recommend the experience to others in search of caring staff, good eats, and a relaxed and homey atmosphere. read more

Tried out this place today and was pleasantly surprised. I sat at the bar and had a great chat with the bartender who was very friendly and provided amazing customer service. I ordered the BYO omelette which was very tasty. DiBellas is a place I will come back to and recommend. My only suggestion would be to make better use of the TV's. With so many screens, it would be awesome if they showed live games instead of just the menu slides. Higher the volume of the music and fun playlist. Would really evaluate the atmosphere and make it more of a brunch vibe instead of a diner. read more

I'm a big brunch fan and I was excited a new spot opened but it lacked luster for me. My husband and I both were seating right away, we both got coffee which came in the smallest cups I've ever had for coffee. They did have flavored creamers which was nice but getting refills was difficult honestly the two waitresses were busy yapping with one another so the service was slow until another person showed up for their shift we came decently early. I did order the breakfast burrito with a side of sweet potato tots because the tots looked really good I saw another with them. The burrito was a decent size, the red salsa was good but overall it's nothing I'd rave about. The tots were really good and the only thing I really enjoyed. I was in OV and we decided to stop for a late breakfast. I was craving a french toast so I got one of their Monte Carlo sandwiches. The sandwich was good but I could have done without the "Kraft" style cheese. A natural sharp cheddar would have been a better contrast. My partner had the chicken fried steak which he enjoyed but he did say the gravy needed seasoning. I hope they look into cleaning their drip coffee machine with vinegar because it was the worse, sadly. Very bitter and, sour tasting. My partner called it hospital coffee. Stopped in for our first time amd happened to be on the 6 month anniversary! The food was super tasty- the mashed potato balls had a good heat and the apples on the pancakes were delicious. And the pancakes themselves were really fluffy and flavorful! The breakfast quesadilla is massive and perfect to share! I wish they had chorizo- but the bacon was thick and well cooked. The decor is oddly "dated" for how nre of a spot it is. I would love to see them trim it down a little but I get the homey vibe they are going for. Staff were all super friendly and attentive. It had a diner feel in that way- but the locals here are into it. Happy to have another brunch spot out here in OV! Meh. Painfully mediocre. I have been here a couple times but I've just been underwhelmed on all counts food-wise. Overall, they've hit the "Booze" nail on the head, but the "Brunch" aspect has consistently left something to be desired. The staff has always been very attentive and genial, which I feel like they have to be what with the typical wait time for food which they attribute to being a scratch kitchen. My last visit, it was a 45 minute wait for food. Even that phenomenal view cannot distract someone for that long. I like the idea behind the dishes called "bites" being served as little balls. It's a gimmick that's pulled me in, for sure. But the cinnamon roll bites are poorly executed Taco Bell Cinnabon delights and the biscuit n' gravy bite bowl is a mess of unseasoned glue that contributed to a not super fun experience. read more

I had a lovely experience here Saturday morning! I was in need of a quick meal between Disc golf rounds at the near by Pusch Ridge Course and this place popped up! I got right in and sat at the counter (always a good place when you're solo) . I had quick friendly service, a delicious cool cocktail and a hot sandwich in no time . I found out it is a family run business, I think I talked to the mom and she pointed out all the women working were part of the family. And they were all definitely hustling as it became more bustling for a Saturday morning. Plenty of parking in a nice lot, also a patio so you can admire the Mountain View's while you brunch! Good find tucked away off Oracle. The food was tasty and large portioned. Decent brunch options - good mix of breakfast and lunch choices. The build your own burrito was good but I tend to indulge on the sweet potato tots ( not too dry, not too greasy and just perfect). The ICE raids are definitely having an impact on restaurant service lately. Seems like most places are operating short handed. Our waitress was working very hard between the kitchen and serving tables. After ordering it took 38 minutes for the food to arrive. After it did arrive it all looked like it sat under a hot lamp, everything was dry and tasteless. Country western kicker music playing in the background made it feel worse. This location seems to change on a yearly basis. No restaurant seems to make it on that corner. read more

Tried them for breakfast. There were a few tables but mostly empty. It had a strange cafeteria like feeling. Very strange ambiance. The waitress made us feel pressured to order drinks and food quickly but then the food and drinks took quite a long time to actually come out. It was bizarre. Tried the cinnamon balls and the flautas. The cinnamon balls were dry, slightly burnt. There's no sauce that comes with them so truly disappointing. This is the very definition of a family establishment, including family photos on the walls. We had an incredibly friendly server who shared with us the story behind the place and it's easy to root for them. The restaurant is nestled right below Pusch Ridge which offers amazing views if you sit on the patio. I had the breakfast burrito with green chili pork and my wife had the OG Monte Christo. The flavor was amazing with the green chili pork. The potatoes that came with my wife's monte christo were some of the best I've tried. Our ladies group from Facebook, Tucson Prickly Chicks-did an event here--Granny Brunch! DiBella's was very accommodating making sure there was enough seating for us. They were very welcoming. Everyone loved the idea and requested to do pics with us! This was the first time any of us had been here--it was freaking amazing and I will be going back! There was four of us and we all had a variety of things we had brunch nachos the Elvis peanut butter Monte Cristo, the turkey melt and the berry French toast. We were waiting on by Lauriewho provided exceptional service and help just choose between some amazing side options like sidewinder french fried potatoes and sweet potato tots and the breakfast potatoes which were all amazing! The people that work here are about as nice as can be and very dog friendly on the patio. Even a doggie menu! Very nice view of the Catalinas. I was very disappointed in the food, however. Maybe the worst eggs Benedict ever. The eggs had runny whites. The Canadian bacon was thin and had a weird flavor. The English muffin was so tough my knife could only cut through with a lot of work. Hollandaise was ok. The fried potatoes were flavorless and dry. Just potato chunks with no onion or anything added. My husband said his breakfast wasn't that good either. A disappointing return visit on Father's Day. My wife and I had such a great meal on our last visit, we thought Father's Day would be a perfect time to revisit. I was looking forward to enjoying another wonderful traditional eggs benedict. The hostess sat us immediately in the dining room which was half full at just after 8AM. The hostess returned shortly there after with ice cold water and silverware. Then we looked forward to meeting our waitress, getting our morning beverages and placing our breakfast order. We waited...and waited and five minutes later nothing. The restaurant was not very busy, but clearly whoever was assigned our table was overwhelmed, because they never greeted us, not even to get a cup of coffee. I am so disappointed not to have an opportunity to have that wonderful breakfast. If you do decide to try this place out, please have more patience than I did. I say this because we returned to our old favorite Jerry Bobs,we were seated immediately, greeted by our waitress in less than a minute, had our coffee a minute later and then placed our order for breakfast omelet's. read more

I'm glad there is a new brunch place in OV, we def need more options! We came on a Sunday and the space was packed, with plenty of groups waiting outside to be seated. We sat at the bar and the staff was very friendly and attentive. You can tell it is a new business though, they are still working out the kinks and hopefully I can update this review and give them higher stars in the future. The menu has a good variety of choices. The food took about 35-40 min to come out. I ordered a breakfast burrito, my husband got pancakes, and our friend got the eggs Benedict. The coffee was good. They are still learning how to make some of the alcoholic beverages and didn't have a huge selection for liquor. Due to the wait though, they did give us some chips and salsa. The portions are very good. My burrito was very good, the green chili pork was very tender, but wish there was more green chili flavor. The pancakes with the nut butter and jelly were delicious, very light and fluffy. We will be going back and hopefully service will be a bit quicker and they'll work out the little details. read more

I decided to make the drive from Phoenix to DiBella's for my birthday. I needed to spend my morning the right way. Once I came in the door Laurie and Allie greeted me with the biggest smiles. We sat at the bar and got to ordering, I've missed Lorenzo's amazing food. He sure didn't disappoint the food was amazing. I had the California style eggs Benedict, I must say they were the best I've ever had. Laurie and Allie kept us entertained with their amazing personalities and spunk. We had a wonderful brunch experience today. Kim is a Rockstar for a server. Great recommendations for beverages and food items. Fun and clean atmosphere in this spot.
