Jen and Jake were really attentive! We were served extra bread which was the best! It was lunch and so it was nice and quiet! The music was at a nice volume to hear but not to take over the conversation. My friend got the Chicken Bryan and stated that the mushrooms tasted like they were canned and they used to pan it over fire and now it just doesn't taste as good as it used to. The chicken Parmesan and Alfredo is my goatee because it's really hard to mess up and it was absolutely delicious! Experience: It was a late lunch around 2:00 and we wanted some pasta so stopped to get a fix. Facility: 5:5 Carrabas always have a nice vibe. They have that masculine, wine cellar vibe. It can be casual, but also gives off a private, romantic feel too. So great date night spot. There are tables and chairs and booths too. Service: 5/5 We were seated right away. I did not get our waitresses name, but she was a good waitress and nice too. No complaints ... food came out pretty fast and we never had to wait for anything we requested. Food: 5/5 The food was so good. Of course the warm bread they give you to dip in the olive oil is so delicious... I could just eat this and be happy. But we did order more. For an appetizer we got the zucchini 5/5 and it was perfectly cooked and so good. We both got side salads and they were fresh and very big for a side salad. Then we ordered just the spaghetti and pomodoro (tomato sauce) 5/5, and the pasta with shrimp and scallops in vodka sauce 4/5. I was a little disappointed with the vodka sauce... it was good, but not the traditional flavor I was looking for. It's been a few years since we have last been to this location and it may be a while before we go back after this time. The service was okay, I wouldn't say great but the server was friendly and that's all you can ask for. The decoration is still the same which is nice. The quality of food seemed to have fallen off and that's the main thing I noticed this time around. I am gluten free and I know that pasta is a little tricker but it was so overcooked it was sticky. My husband's medium rare steak was overly chewy. Just not up to what I am used to getting when I come to a Carrabba's. read more

Chase our waiter along with guy training was so great. A smooth operated restaurant with steaming hot food that's delicious. Love your olive oil so much. I wish we could buy it. A simple to go order that over delivered! Food is always better when you sit down and eat it fresh, but that's not always an option or convenient. By the time I got this meal home I was so pleasantly surprised with portion size of such a fresh and colorful meal! The Caesar salad was simple, crispy and the dressing was creamy and tasty! Fresh bread with salted butter. Who doesn't love that? The burrata was HEAVY on the onion. Way too heavy on onion so I ate around most of it. However the tomatoes were juicy, the basil fresh and the mozzarella was large, soft and creamy! I could eat that cheese on anything, any day! The steak was cooked perfectly with a rich spicy Tuscan butter that hit just right with a pleasant heat kick. The spinach came with the perfect amount of Parmesan while the mash was a bit too firm but had great flavor! Love they keep the skin in their mash. A wonderful meal which could only be made better had it been straight to my table from the kitchen itself but for a to go.... It slapped! read more

Love Carrabba's! This location has very good food. They seem to be in a rush. Everything is brought out fast! You haven't even finished your appetizer and your salad is being delivered. 6:30 PM on a Friday night and see how empty it was? No line ... got right in. Just the 2 of us. I had the Veal Marsala, and my daughter had some chicken dish. Both were rather bland. Veggies in salad were plentiful but she brought mine with the wrong dressing. When I finally caught her eye, I had her bring me a cup of the right dressing. Cocktails were okay and service was good. I spent $50 for A dinner (Fettuccine Carrabba, Zucchini Fritte & Four-cheese & Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms). The only thing that was edible was the $12 Zucchini Fritte (although a bit soggy). There was nearly no sauce on the $23 of noodles and they were clumpy. I also ordered the stuffed mushrooms which were very small (smaller than the size of a quarter) and burnt. I had ordered 3 previous times, and the 1st two orders were awesome. The 3rd time the food "ok", and I thought it was a fluke, so I tried one more time. This 4th time was even worse; basically inedible--very sad! read more

We eat at the Melbourne location quite frequently and have had Jenn as our server and she is amazing and oh so friendly!! We will continue to go bi weekly and request Jenn!! I'm not big on chain restaurants but Carrabba's does a pretty job. Service is good but depending on the time of day, service might be a little slow. The house salad shows in picture on menu, there are tomatoes in the salad. But I've always have to ask for the tomatoes. Not good! The food is all pre-cooked as in most chain restaurants but that's the way it is. If you want food cooked to order don't go to a chain restaurant. read more

When I ordered from this restaurant I was dissatisfied with the the food. When I called the restaurant and spoke to the female manager she was so nasty. She blamed the company who delivered the food. I told her the delivery service didn't make the food. Yesterday a manager named Robert called me to make things right. I explained what happened. He apologized to me and said he would return the full amount that I spent that night. He said it may take a couple of days. One hour later it was in my checking account. I came for their happy hour between 4-7p. They have $7 cocktails and $7 bites . I ordered the calamari and meatball sliders and a drink. Calamari was lightly breaded with the perfect blend of Italian spices. You are given 2 different sauces, marinara and a Ricardo sauce. Calamari and the dip together was delicious and tasty . The meatballs in the meatball sliders were a decent portion . The bread they used , a more crunchy toasted Italian bread, together with the meatballs was quite scrumptious. Bartenders were friendly along with the bar backs and host . This location had a lot more of an older crowd that had carrabbas rewards on hand for the servers . They all must go there often. The inside being dimly lit with the dark walls and decor makes this place great for dinner dates . my family and I recently dined at the Palm Bay Carabba's and we had a GREAT experience. The food and service was excellent!!!

Well I a lot have to say right now. We had to wait 6 minutes for our drinks. Our server did get better which she saved this review from a one star. She kept the drinks filled and checked in on us several times. We ordered mozzarella sticks, shrimp scampi (had a stick butter in it), a couple steak and fish. Check the pics. First off I need to clear the air. What is a Carrabba? What does that even mean? Idk onto the review. Someone help. Every single entrée dish we got was over cooked. I mean the steak was well done on both of them. The salmon was way over cooked and I eat salmon 2-3 times a weak and it was well well done. The sautéed spinach I got was also very burnt. The steaks were simply inedible and my friends had one bite each and immediately knew it was well done. We called over the waitress immediately. It really was a bummer we all had a long day and just wanted a decent meal. Unfortunately we didn't. Maybe it was new staff maybe it was someone not trained enough. Either way we left hungry and didn't enjoy our experience. The ambience of this location looked run down and neglected a bit. Looked dark and not well lit or welcoming. The manager was cool and admitted everything was cooked incorrectly. He took care of the whole bill so that was nice and absolutely expected. We did leave a little tip for the waitress as she did what she needed to do. Overall 2 stars and really wanted to leave 1 but again our server did her job. I haven't been to a Carrabbas in years and I told my two friends no but they disagreed. So I got out voted. Sad experience, I won't be back and honestly might not ever go to another one. read more

January 5th, 2024.: I had the IT'S BACK! Rigatoni Al Forno with sausage! The meal was so delicious! The host who retrieved my order was most helpful and generous. The quality was good. Just two observations; the pasta was slightly overcooked when compared to my last order of this dish; the pasta was softer tonight and not al dente. It was filled up so I was in hog Heaven! Lol! The other observation; it needed a bit more liquid sauce or gravy in the dish - to have more savory flavor and to dip the freshly baked Italian bread in - but of course, I still got my herbs, extra virgin olive oil, to dip the bread in ... and Parmesan cheese and Romano cheeses that you sprinkle on the IT'S BACK! Rigatoni Al Forno. The sausage was good. All things considered, I still give them 5-stars and two thumbs up! I was very satisfied with my meal and you definitely can have leftovers so you get a lot of value with this merchant. Italian food is my favorite! Delicious! Very pleased, indeed! read more

The wine dinners at Carrabas in Palm Bay Florida are terrific! Last evening we attended the Feast of the Seven Fishes. It was spectacular! The food and wine were not only plentiful but certainly delicious. The servers such as Brittany, and Chase, and bartender Sarah were efficient and so accommodating. The Palm Bay Carrabas is always a great place to wine and dine. The employees are the best and have such a nice way of always making us feel special even though we aren't! Carrabba's Italian Grill (Chain Restaurant Review)-1575 Palm Bay Road NE, Palm Bay, FL 3-Stars I frequented Carrabba's when the Big Boy actually focused on losing weight at a time long since passed. Established in 1986 by John Charles "Johnny" Carrabba III and his uncle, Damian Mandola, and now a part of Bloomin' Brands Inc. (think Outback and Bonefish Grill) since 2021, Carrabba's is the 2nd largest Italian-themed chain in the US; Florida is currently home to more Carrabba's than any other state and they have my second favorite salad in the whole world: the Johnny Rocco. It is a mélange of crisp romaine lettuce, roasted red peppers, meaty Kalamata olives, and a mild, yet salty, this salad is delightful. Though no longer weight watching, I elected to rekindle my palate with my old friend, substituting creamy Parmesan dressing for the standard house Italian vinaigrette. This salad has withstood the test of time and remains resolute. I cannot tout the same for the rest of the meal. You might consider me a zoilist as you read further; trust that I am not. I neither nitpick over trivialities nor excoriate undeservingly. Before continuing, I must digress and laud our waiter, Raymond. He was outstanding in his service and though it's still early, he is a contender for Big Boy Dining Out's Top 5 Best Waitstaff, 2nd Quarter. Attentive, personable, and knowledgeable, Raymond showed himself to be a consummate professional. Now onto the rest of the meal. I ordered both the Fettuccine Carrabba and the Spaghetti Bolognese. These are simple, dishes that require little effort. Still, I'm uncertain how the cooking of such fare could be translated so marginally. The Fettuccine Carrabba was lackluster. Such blandness left me mystified as to how a sauce can taste nothing like its ingredients. There was no rich, buttery, Parmesan cheesiness to enjoy here. The Spaghetti Bolognese was equally underwhelming, under sauced, and the noodles were crispy. Yes, crispy. I can appreciate a good Al dente noodle, but this was a cry away from a dental visit. The Big Boy says, "Try the Johnny Rocco. Take the kids and give them the average pasta. They will never know." read more
