It was good as usual. There was a lunch special I didn't realize they had those so yay me. It was a 1/2 portion and I had some kind of garlic lemon linguine dish and I added shrimp which was pretty good and my first time trying it. I had the Caesar salad as well and forgot to say no parmesano so needless to say I spent the first few minutes picking most of it out. I like their dressing too, some Cesar dressings are not it. It was not too fishy so a winner. It also came with a drink and of course that awesome warm bread we all love. It was a perfect lunch. I ordered online and my son picked it up so I can't comment on the service really, but my son didn't complain so I'll say it was good.

Wow, who knew Carrabba had so many vegetarian options I was pleasantly pleased !!! I don't normally frequent chain restaurants but we were out of town and out of options and I am so happy that we decided to go to Carrabba's. Everything was good until the people next to us walked in with a dog that was shaking and wagging, and all I could think about was what flew into my food. (dogs do not belong inside of restaurants, everyone is not fond of your pet). I ordered the vegetable ravioli, and it was divine, the sauce was really good, but of course I instantly had to pack my food to go. my date ordered something that he absolutely loved ( I have no clue what the name of it is, but it had a lot of different seafood) we ordered the strawberry lemonade, which was a bit tart, but good. The restaurant seen very clean, with low lights and could've been sort of a romantic little outing until someone decided to bring their animal. I will definitely try out the Carrabba's back home for this dish.

Cup of Lemonade instead of gallon tea

Do NOT order delivery. I ordered a gallon of Flavored tea and got a cup of Lemonade. Uber credited but.... Nobody in charge at the restaurant when I called to share my concern. "Ally" said no manager there today. No "team leader" there. Nobody in charge. Could not give me the regional office number. They even put the tag saying 1 gallon flavored tea on the top of the cup of lemonade. Clearly they are not paying attention. Poor service. Do better Carrabba's. Do better.

I've been here many times and I'm just not a fan. I've tried the Tucson grilled chicken and it didn't really have a taste to it. The Fettuccine Alfredo was okay. The fried zucchini I wasn't a fan of and the salad was cool. The server we had wasn't good. It took forever for him to come our table and kind of just came and disappeared. The atmosphere was fine.

I don't know how it's possible but I think it may have even been better the second day. Trust me when I say ... I eat more pizza than almost anyone. I've been to hundreds and hundreds of pizza shops all over the world including Italy. I also have been making pizza at home for the past 10 years. This pizza is it !

No drink refills, and we had to flag someone down just to get our check and to-go boxes. We started with a Caesar salad after finding out the octopus carpaccio (which we were excited to try) had run out -- the salad was fine but pretty unremarkable. We also ordered the Montecristo pizza with burrata, which looked great in theory, but the burrata was not evenly distributed -- piled onto one side, leaving the rest of the pizza bare. The crust itself was floppy with no real flavor -- no standout sauce or seasoning. Honestly, I think I could make a better pie at home on my Gozney. Our friends weren't impressed either -- the lasagna was underwhelming, and the cheese pizza they ordered (with a request for extra cheese) came out with no extra cheese at all. Disappointing overall, especially given the price point and the reviews. Might try again someday to see if it was an off night, but not in a rush to go back.

MAKE A RESERVATION....You will need it…read more Piccola is a very small place. A few tables. And you need the reservation to get in as people do go all the time. The chef is the owner and even takes the order. The assistant cleans, and serves and handles the rest. Like stepping into an Italian family kitchen to see what is on the table for the night. And with the special menu of the evening, it is like you are stepping into the kitchen. With a reservation for 6 we were lucky to have the table. It is a BYOB so bring what you might want to go with the meals. A red wine is a good idea. As for the specials, it was varied. There are many options to have that are not on the menu. Even that is small. The chef does tell you what was the specials. He answers the questions and does describe what he is thinking. For 6 of us this gave us good options. Several were ordered, and some traditional was selected. We started with appetizers. Tomatoes and mozzarella was always a way to start. Classic. Mixed with a green salad and some extra cheese it is a good way to go. Garlic bread was a complement. We also had the rice balls stuffed with a small meatball combo. This is typical in certain regions of Italy, and each are different. It had a special sauce to top it and more bread. The sauce was good enough as a dipping sauce for the bread without the rice ball. As we ate the apps we drank the wines. Truly typical for an Italian meal. When the entrees came out it was time to shift things around. These entrees were a good size and freshly cooked. You can see the chef in the kitchen cooking each meal. This is a home kitchen. We had a few specials. One was the duck on the couscous. With the frech sauce and herbs it was amazing. It is not how you expect to have duck. It was definitely not Chinese. This was a fresh duck cooked and aged so that the flavor was ideal. The portion was large and the aroma amazing. Also had to have a very traditional pasta carbonara - pasta mixed in a garlic cream sauce with onions and pieces of bacon. A bit of peper and grated cheese helps. It is an old simple idea what what is always made in a family. There was also pasta bolognese, and even a pasta with sliced rib steak in a mushroom cream sauce. Very different. Once the meal was finished had to have espresso and dessert. The espresso was made the old way in a pot I still have on a the shelf and use. As for the dessert, we did have a lemon cake and a cake made with pistachio that was ground and had flavor that was not expected as a cream in a cake. It was exceptional. As the waitress mentioned, these cakes come from a bakery in Italy and are delivered. The taste and sweetness are typical of Italy and not of the US. Very Italian. The food is great. It is fresh, tasty, has a flavor and style that is unique to the chef. He can make a great meal that you will enjoy. It is typical but with a twist. The portions are a good size. The price is perfect. Bring your own wine and step inside. It is like being in someone;s kitchen. And make that reservation!

Starting out with wine and bread for the table. Fantastic touch. Moving onto Cesar salads with cracked pepper on top. Fresh, light, just enough. Moving into the next round, pear sacchetti and meatballs. First off. Absolute killer way to start a meal but the chef/owner/MAN OF THE HOUR, treaded us so unbelievably well and we found out at this part of the meal that he was there to make the night special. Brought out extra on both of the items above to ensure everybody got a fair share and tasted the excellence that he plated for us. Moving on, entrees, 3 daily lasagna specials, a seafood linguini and finally, my meal...the man of the hour (I regret not getting his name) threw me an absolute bone. I asked if I should go gnocchi or carbonara when I ordered and he said "let me surprise you". My man came out with a half and half combo and didnt cut back on the portions. Truly excellent service. He didn't need to do that but he did. Remarkable. Finally, dessert. Wow. We got about everything. All three cakes, cannolis, pistachio ice cream. The lot. Everything truly was unreal. All clean plates. Nothing left in any fashion. By the way, he gave us an extra cannoli so we all had our own. The inside of this place is also so intimate and cozy. Staff didn't let a single water go dry. I mean this was 5 star excellence and I can't stress it enough. A firm handshake before exiting the restaurant from "THE Man" and we were on our way. I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.
