I went to Physical Therapy at Arrowhead orthopedics which is down stairs from my surgeon very convenient. I requested this office for its great therapist. Krista is the manager and top notch therapist. She helped me last TKR and I was there it felt like half my life with a stubborn knee. I was there 60 sessions with my first replacement this replacement I was there 12 amazing. My therapist was Shelly and she did a good job but she was not there a few times I was and I had the Therapist Assistant Alexia. She was so patient and sweet and very helpful. I also LOVE Amy! She has been there since my last surgery and she makes me laugh, and she is extremely motivating which is very important in recovery. She will lighten your day and make you push a little harder to get to that point you need to be at. Amy thanks for everything you did, have done and you are also top notch in your field. I LOVE this office you will too! I promise .

I won't be going back there.

I had a very disappointing experience with Whole Child Therapy. The level of professionalism has…read morebeen poor throughout our time there. The biggest issue is the constant turnover of therapists. Therapists keep leaving, and every time my child starts building trust and making progress, we're assigned someone new. This lack of consistency makes it very difficult for children to succeed in therapy. The clinic also frequently cancels therapy sessions due to staffing shortages. However, if a parent has to cancel even one appointment, they immediately issue a warning and threaten consequences. It feels like there is one set of rules for the clinic and another for the families. The administrative director appears incapable of properly managing the clinic. They are consistently understaffed, which has resulted in scheduling issues, frequent cancellations, and interruptions in children's therapy. Our experience with the new therapist, Melanie, has also been very disappointing. She does not seem interested or engaged in working with children. She is unwilling to listen to or consider input from parents, even though parents know their children best and should be included as part of the therapy process. Instead of working as a team, our concerns and observations were dismissed. It makes me question why she chose a career in pediatric therapy. Overall, I cannot recommend Whole Child Therapy. The constant staff turnover, poor management, frequent cancellations, lack of consistency, and unprofessional environment have made it a frustrating experience for our family.

Things started off well but very soon after starting it was clear they were not accommodating his needs. Instead of trying to work with him and understand him, they only wanted to push him into their rigid program and after making him anxious and upset blamed him when he had a problem. They would not communicate with me, for if they had I could have shed light on how to deal with him and what he needed. They did not care at all. He was shuffled from one worker to another and they made little attempts to get to know him. I begged them to allow me to give them input but they would not have it. After ignoring many of his signals that he was in distress, he finally ended up reacting and became physically aggressive. They then threw him out of the program. That was devastating for him. He asked me every day to take him back. I reached back out to them and asked if he could come back. They agreed that if after a couple months he did not have any aggression he would be allowed back. I worked with his mental health professional and he was doing great so after a couple months I reached out and asked if he could come back. They said that it would be possible but that turned out to be a lie. I made many more calls and sent multiple emails but I was ignored over and over again. They turned a blind eye and never responded. I think they are despicable for this and I would never recommend that anyone send their special needs child or adult there. That is my opinion and I believe it is well deserved. I really believe we don't need this type of help in our community and this branch would be much better with different management. That's just my opinion.

We've dealt with great ones before. The problem I've had, is that every time the intern transfers out, my children's sessions have been put on hold for two months at a time. This happens about every 2-3 months. This cycle keeps repeating. Kids Connections takes on more clients than they can actually handle, and relies on interns to fill the gap. And when those same interns have to leave, clients (children) are left with no therapist take over their sessions for months! This is also bad because children need to build good rapport with their therapists in order for the therapy to work. By the time my children felt comfortable with their therapists (the interns because it was never an actual Occupational Therapist), it was time for the student to move on and leave. They don't have enough regular staff to take over when interns inevitably transfer out. Kids Connections needs to seriously think about what they care about more: helping children with special needs? Or getting money from insurance companies by taking on more clients than they can actually handle? Not only is this bad business practice, but this is also sets these kids back. I was told they were supposedly trying to hire new therapists, but there's no way to know how long that will take. As of now, my twins' OT sessions have been put on hold for about two months now. That's two months without getting the therapy they need. We are now in the process of getting setup at another clinic, that does not run their clinic the way Kids Connections is currently doing. TLDR: If your insurance refers you to this place, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Ask to be referred to another therapy clinic. This place is not it. Clients, especially children, should not be put on hold like this just because the company would rather make money off of insurance.
