DETAILING REVIEW: My family has always been coming here for car washes since before I had my very own car. Now that I do, I went in for an interior/ exterior detail. This was the very first time I got my car detailed too. I thought that having the car detailed meant I can drive away and not have to worry about the cleanliness of my car. But once I got home and had a better view of my car, I noticed that there were stains on my seats and upholstery that weren't even there when I dropped it off. It took more than an hour trying to take off dried water marks and fingerprint stains. My driver's seat looked like they didn't even clean the fabric. I'm giving it 2-stars because their regular car washes are great value and the people who work there are so hardworking, but the detail is not worth it!!! When I got into my car from being washed and paying $25.00 the back seat had not been touched. I drove up to the vacuum area and asked him to look at my car. I said you didn't vacuum the back, you didn't even look back there as there was still trash visible. Do not come here. I'm not in Carson much so I won't be back there but Went because my car was filthy. Never Again. The guy did I will do it now I said shit you should have done it the first time. I just was at Carson car wash today and I'm very dissatisfied and unhappy with the service. As I was going to pay for my car wash they said their card reader wasn't working. And they asked if I had cash and I told them I didn't. They said if you can go to the liquor store next door or somehow go and get cash and come back. This was very inconveniencing and I do not feel that the customer service was there. After my car wash was done and I went to give the guy the tip, he told me that they accidentally WET the inside of my car because they didn't roll up my window all the way. I had to use a plastic to sit on my driver seat because it was wet. This is a very horrible car wash and I am never coming back again! I think I must've dreamt getting my car washed because it was still dirty after I got home. The one star in this review goes to the machine that did its job of cleaning the outside of my car. However, the man who wiped down my car after did not do his job at all. He must've just been doing the wiping motions, but not really cleaning, and then called me over. First, when I entered my car, I noticed something was off, but I couldn't pinpoint what it was. I looked around my car, and it seemed fine, so I gave the employee 4 dollars tip since I got the Supreme car wash which is $19.99 plus tax. Then when I got home and examined my car more closely, I realized that my coffee spills, food crumbs, dust, and bird poop spots were mostly still there. I also noticed that something smelled funky like dirty water. I started wiping the dirty parts of my car down with paper towels and windex, and when I wiped my steering wheel, I realized it was actually way dirtier than before. I kept wiping around my whole steering wheel, and once I was done, the paper towel was black. I think the man who wiped down my car must've had dirty hands or used a dirty towel or something because it was my steering wheel that smelled. The paper towel that I used to clean my steering wheel smelled horrible. I usually do not write bad reviews, but this time I had to because I was just so shocked at the horrible job the employee did. I don't know if it is his fault or the management's, but I hope that management reads this and makes some changes at the car wash. read more

A heads up to my fellow veterans with disabilities if you go to the Carson Car Wash. If and when you pay your car wash in cash, beware to count your money carefully before handing it to the cashier. On Jul 19, 2024 at about 9:38 am, I paid the Latino female cashier in cash for Express Wax amounting to $64.99. Before hand, I already know how much cash I had in my wallet: 3 = 1$ bills ($3.00), 2 = 5$ bills (10.00), 1 = 10$ bill ($10.00), 3= 20$ bills ($60.00), and 1= 50$ bill ($50.00). Total was $133.00. I placed on the counter what I thought were three $20.00 bills and one $5.00 bill ($65.00). The cashier picked up the cash and gave me a penny change. I placed the receipt in my wallet. When I got home, I took the receipt out of my wallet along with the remaining cash content totaling $38.00. I quickly noted that I was missing $50.00 bill. One of my disabilities is glaucoma and I realized I have mistakenly given the $50.00 instead of $20.00. At about 11:30 am, I called the Carson Car Wash cashier and explained my predicament. She said she did not recall who I was and added she only had $100.00 bills but no $50.00 bills in her till. As God is my witness, I hope and pray the cashier was being truthful. read more

You guys see the overall rating right? It's not like that out of nowhere.. TRUST. This place has gone from top notch quality down to absolute horror over the years (this coming from a local). I opted for the full service wash ($50 value) on 10/10/18, as I hadn't had one from these guys in over a year. I've gone to other close washes and vacuumed my car myself over the years to save time. Well, as I was passing through the area between work, I thought why not! I'm lazy and my car probably hates me for all the years of neglect.. If you've ever been here, they have these benches where you can sit and watch your car being hand cleaned. One star for the upgraded seating area and new benches.. there used to never be enough room to sit. But even with all these new benches, there were NO customers, which I found odd. One of the reasons I stopped coming here was because of how popular they were and how long of a wait it was. Which was good, I always want to go somewhere that's buzzing. Now, that was years ago. Fast forward to today, crickets. So I had the great pleasure of watching my assigned car cleaner guy with front row seats. Couple of things that stood out to me in OBVI fashion: #1 I noticed that he did not spend a lot of time inside the car, #2 I noticed he kept running his rag over the same spot on top of my hood. Meaning, that this guy was trying to LOOK busy and not be about it. Maybe he thought the 2-3 people on the benches were not watching?? .. Even though there's nothing else to look at in the vast empty parking lot BUT him? Another thing that stood out, $50 washes apparently HAVE to be cleaned for longer than the other less expensive options. That's why I felt like he was running his rag on my hood every 5 minutes.. he kept looking at the time too.. A good wash doesn't mean you spend a minimum of 45 minutes doing nothing. A good wash means you get everything done and then some in the quickest amount of time you can do it. And maybe because there weren't that many customers, he thought he could take his sweet time? .. Anyway, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Because I'm all about supporting working labor and I always tip well, because I know how hard it can be. So in conclusion, what does $50 get you? A dirty ass interior, half ass wax job around the rest of the exterior, scratched up tint job on the inside of your windows (I really can't understand how that happens and I'm angry looking out my windows), an hour and 15 minutes of your life gone, a streaky windshield, but a shiny shiny hood. Why didn't I say anything right then and there? I was doing this between work, so the sloth who did my car job caused me to be late getting back to the office. I had an event to go to right after work so I didn't get a good look.. it was when I invited my girlfriends to carpool that night when I realized how serious it was. I was showing off about my $50 + tip car job for once in a long time.. and they pointed EVERYTHING out saying I should've taken a closer look. They were laughing and asking me if I even cleaned my car that same day. Man.. that was nothing to show off about, I was so embarrassed. I wanted a 0 star but there wasn't one. I started a monthly membership with the $49.99 package based upon the location convenience. I kept it for about 6 months and ended it at the end of June 2021. I also wish I would have reviewed Yelp reviews prior to doing this and using this car wash. Extremely unhappy! 1.) You can see by ALL the reviews that the owner and manager(s) do not really care about the customers and their feedback, as there are absolutely NO replies here on Yelp from the owner or manager(s) concerning customers concerns...good or bad. What does that tell you? They could care less. 2.) When my truck was vacuumed, I would watch them, and it literally took them less than 30 seconds, and they would not move the mats, they would not go under the seats or in-between the seats. Really? 3.) During the week, they do NOT have enough workers employed drying the cars, so they must resort to constantly stopping the conveyor belt of cars coming out of the car wash if it's busy. 4.) I have a pick-up truck and the workers open the doors and step up on the interior body of my truck with their boots and shoes, damaging/scratching the interior door jams of the vehicle, instead of the owner going out and purchasing some step-stools or smaller step ladders for the workers to use to wipe off the tops of higher clearance vehicles and trucks like most other car washes do. 5.) My $49.99 package INCLUDED air refreshener being placed in my truck at the end. The employees would NEVER EVER put it inside the interior unless I specifically ask them to do it. Then, they would just throw a little tiny one inch by one inch square deal in front of the seat, like that's going to do something. Most places I've been, paying this much money, they ask you what kind of fragrance would you like and they spray several blasts from a bottle into your vehicle at least. 6.) The workers don't seem to care much about doing a good quality job when DRYING your car off. It's all about quantity and quantifying the TIPS! They rush real fast, spending about maybe 5-7 minutes drying your car and cleaning the windows but should spend more productive QUALITY time doing so. 7.) One of the biggest things I don't like that I should have checked out before I got the membership as well is that the workers do NOT have compressed air hoses when drying your car off to blow all the water out of the cracks...ie around the side mirrors, around the windows, around the gas door, etc etc. Then, when you leave the car wash and drive down the road, all of that water blows out of those areas and you have water spots all over the sides of your car. 8.) When I went into the cashier to say that I wanted to stop my monthly membership, you would think that they would ask why, was everything okay OR are you moving from the area OR just get some feedback from the customer so they can report it to the owner. She said nothing, did the transaction on the register and handed me the receipt of my monthly membership being cancelled. What a way NOT to do business and again, I guess they do NOT care about their customers or any customer feedback and they feel that they're the ONLY car wash in town! Well, I have news for them. They are not, and I hope plenty of folks see this and make a different choice, because I'm going to look for another car wash location to start using! You might want to consider that too! I remember going to this Car Wash ever since I was a little kid because my dad would always take his car to get cleaned here. The people were cool, it was clean inside, and it would just bring up great memories until a few years ago when I got my old 4 runner washed here.... man...okay... there were like 5 guys wiping down my vehicle, right? First off, why the hell does it take like 5 guys to wipe down a damn SUV?? Second... they let me know that it was ready and I drove to work that day... when I stepped out of my 4 runner, I looked at how nice, fresh and so clean-clean it was until I looked down and saw that the people at Carson Car Wash STOLE ONE OF MY DAMN TURNING LIGHTS! BOOOOO!!!! Since then, I never ever went back...F*CK them and their $13 car wash, and stupid specials, I'd rather go to the 76 on Sepulveda going towards Del Amo Mall because at least they only have 1 guy per vehicle doing a great job cleaning it after it's been through the car wash! For reals, I LOVED Carson Car Wash for many many many years and it's way closer to my home, BUT that 1 experience really pissed me off and sadly, I will never ever go there ever again. My daughter realized 2 1/2 hours later that my CVS bag was missing that was hanging on the middle console! The stuff in that bag was Returnable things From CVS that I put aside to Return for later. After going to our doctors appointments & eating lunch, i rushed it back to Carson Car Wash! I called the Manager to let them know what happened! OMG! I was thinking to my head? Wth! I grew up going to this car wash and obviously I knew one day when I got my own car I'd get it washed here. They have recently upscaled this business and remodeled everything. I mean why not? It's good for business. I was pretty shocked at the basic car wash price tag which was $15.99. In my head I was like "okay, okay it might be worth it." After my car came out of the tunnel it was shining like no other. But as I was driving away I noticed that my front mirror had streaks on it. Lastly, when I got home I found a piece of gum on my hood. It probably was from the towel, but seriously? I went back to get it cleaned & all they said was "oh it might of been from someone who threw out there gum." And wiped it off. I don't know about Glen, but they always take care of my car at this place! I usually get the wax for my truck and it always comes out shinny that I always get a compliment on how shinny my truck is and it's a black truck! Which is hard to keep clean. Plus, they have a stamp card and after 10 wash you get $50 off your next service. They also offer the unlimited wash, but I've yet to get if since they do a great job waxing my truck and keeps it clean for about a week. read more

Been coming here for quite some time (maybe as long as I've been driving) and they have changed management I believe this past year! Definitely miss getting the free tree air fresheners, haha. There is always so inconsistency about them vacuuming. I have to remind them I want my trunk cleaned, because I have came on some occasions and they don't even touch the back. Sometimes they clean my dashboard really well, and some days it looks like how I brought it in. They always try to hustle you into getting the more expensive package, but majority of the times I always have a coupon from shopping at Albertson's across the street. Then when he said its done, there's water marks everywhere. I literally had to start wiping it myself while the guy is there standing. Then the inside does not look like its wiped at all. I went in yesterday afternoon around 4pm. I had gotten the express wax for 49.99. The wash was pretty good but wax was not worth it. He spent around 30 mins doing the job and when it was ready I noticed that it had streak marks so I asked if he could wipe it down once more. After doing so it still had a few streaks. Overall the job looked good. That's until I went in my car this morning. I've noticed on some parts on the car, that there is still dried wax. Mediocre at best! $60 detailing and my car looked like they did the $15 dollar job. Rims were still dirty, mirrors untouched, only wiped armor-all on the top of the dashboard. Steering Wheel untouched, and this is at first look. Not really checking out the work. I told the guy working on my car and he could care less. Horrible experience and should have gotten a refund. They actually do a good job washing and cleaning your car, However when you pull up to get a early bird wash they try to up sell you stuff you don't need. "No I don't want an express wax" "No I don't want to be in the membership car wash club" "No I don't want the special undercairrage wash" The attendant is so ready to sell you extras to make money that he'll even write you a ticket for the express wax and when you get to the counter you'll scream "WTF!" I wanted the early bird special! I told him no to the express wax!!!!" It's his job to push these things to make more money but it gets annoying really fast! They do it to everyone especially if you have a higher end car or look like a mark. They'll try to appeal to you as the "MAN" "Don't you want to look good with the newly waxed car?" You'll get the look of being cheap if you don't say yes to everything they want to up sell you! Just brace yourself and refuse! Bring some drinks unless you want to overpay for water/soda/teas. Okay , so a couple things about this place. 40 dollars for a car wash you would at least expect a CLEAN car. I arrived about 12:15 , and left at 1:15, I honestly didn't mind at first but once I seen everyone who arrived there after me leaving I was a bit confused. I thought maybe they were doing a deep cleaning. So anyways when my car first came out my front license plate was off halfway. They then put it back on themselves, You would think they would try and notify me when my car was done. But nope. anyways after a long wait , my car was still dirty they didn't vacuum that well, and the inside was just overall dirty outside was ok minus the license plate. you can get a better car wash doing it yourself. So I went here despite the reviews for a wash and potentially getting the monthly promotion. I can tell you that not only will I ever get the monthly promotion, but I won't even come back. For one, I had a voucher from chipotle for free kids meal that my daughter got for reading so many pages. It disappeared yet other papers were left there. This voucher wasn't even on floor it was placed in open compartment. Secondly, they didn't even clean dashboard. AT ALL!! My car is 3 weeks old, it is an easy car to clean. But other than cleaning windows and vacuuming nothing else was done in interior. I got the premier wash which is $19.99. Had I known what I know I would have washed it and vacuumed myself at Bellagio on Avalon for $3. I would have saved over $20 bucks and tipped myself better. read more
