I was really impressed with the quickness and quality of the service they provided for me! My vehicle was delivered to their shop on a day they were closed after it had been involved in a minor accident but was not drivable, so I was a little sceptical on how the whole process would work. I was called first thing in Monday morning to get an overview of what was going to take place and here it is Thursday morning and my vehicle maintenance is completed! I'm am so pleased with the work they did and you would never be able to tell that it had been involved in an accident! Not only did they do great work on the outside, they totally detailed the inside for me as well upon delivery!! i've had multiple repairs done in the past on vehicles and I have never encountered such a large group of people with no compassion or consideration for my situation and such a lack of communication . I was told it would be ready a specific day and was contacted the day of and told it wouldn't be ready till that following Monday with no reason. That day came and I was sent an email with no reasoning that it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. Tuesday I called spoke with one of the owners/managers with little help. He even promised he would call me back by a specific time and failed to do so. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. If I could give them 0 for a score I would. Their work was 1/2 hearted too. I had to bring some obvious damage that was not included in the initial estimate to their attention. So their lack observing all damages leads me to believe they know little about what they're doing. Please, he'd my warning do not go to this autobody shop! So then after taking my car back they added antifreeze to it and lied to me by telling me nothing was wrong the second time around. read more

I am very happy with my experience from CARSTAR. They woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They fixed the front of my car in four days as they had predicted. They are very professional and the amount they quoted me was the exact amount I payed when I picked up my car. The free vacuums are nice, although they only have a single wide attachment for each vacuum, making crevasses (between seats) difficult to reach. They also have 'Free Car Wash' signs up all over, but apparently they weren't offering that deal on 9/7/17, thus the car was ended up being $16.99. My Subaru was rear-ended with $6,000 worth of damage. My insurance company recommended CarStar as they said they would be able to complete the repairs quickly (I was going to leave the country soon for work). I'm from Los Angeles and hit an elk near the Grand Canyon. $11k damage to our brand new Honda Accord. I am not a motorhead so I don't feel qualified to give 5 stars. It took longer than I anticipated but the work seems excellent. When I would call about the status of the repair, they were courteous and straight forward - very easy to communicate with. There was a delay in reimbursing me for one small warranty repair but they came through. They also picked me up at the Flagstaff airport when I had to fly in to pick the car up to take back to Los Angeles. read more

I want to preface with: this is my first Yelp review ever and I intentionally avoid yelping but couldn't help but do so in order to try and save the community from a total disaster/headache of an experience. These guys are have no idea how to run a business. I was involved in a hit and run over Labor Day weekend and dropped my car off Monday afternoon (Labor Day). I called my insurance company that day, received a claim number and waited until normal business hours Tuesday to put in a call (specifically for this body shop because my insurance company said it shaved 4-5 days off the process because they were certified by American family). I spoke to a female rep at the body shop on Tuesday afternoon and leave with them the claim number, make and model of my vehicle and all my information. They let me know they'll get back to me I'd there are any issues with the claim/vehicle. 4 days later (Friday) I had still received no notice about my car. I call to follow up and am met with "well we don't know what's going on with your car, you have to speak to our specific American family insurance rep who works here to find that out, his name is Matt". At this point, I let them know that If It's been 4 days and they should be able to identify what's wrong with my car, how long it's going to take and what it's going to cost and if they don't get back to me ASAP over my lunch break I'll start looking for another body shop. At this point I'm called back about 30 mins later only to be told that my insurance company has messed up and they (Matt) have been waiting all week to hear back from my insurance company. I decide to call my insurance company only to find out Matt and company haven't contacted my insurance company at all, all week. The agent calls Matt directly and he back peddles and claims the body shop employees never gave him the claim number that I provided them on Tuesday and that today (Friday) is the very first day he has ever heard my name or heard of my vehicle/claim. He apologizes multiple times and says he will personally contact me this afternoon to provide a quote, work time, etc. Friday afternoon arrives. I miss a call from the company. I call back. I get Matt's voicemail so I leave a message requesting a return phone call. I get another missed call. I call back and get Matt's voicemail again. I call back a third time and ask the woman who answers to personally track down Matt and have him speak to me as I have been anticipating his call for now 4 hours. She says he has left for the day but she's been the one trying to contact me about my vehicle. The woman who wants to speak to me claims she specifically gave Matt my claim number and information Tuesday when I called. She says there is no doubt in her mind that info was received. After confronting her and sharing that Matt told my insurance company she had dropped the ball, she tried to say he had continued to tell her that it was my insurance company and MY fault that they hadn't assigned me to said claim because I hadn't called them after Tuesday. My insurance company said in 99.99% of cases, these body shops get in touch with the insurance companies or they themselves contact the vehicle owners and have them get assigned to said body shop for assignment and it takes minutes (as proven today by my insurance company, NOT 4 days). At this point they tell me all the repairs and everything would only take 4 days total and they would start Monday. At this point I confront them for taking 4 days total to get this far since my car should in theory be done today only to be met with "well you should have called them sooner". If Matt was willing to tell my insurance agent that he dropped the ball, he would call me personally (then not call and avoid my call) and then lie and say he never received my insurance claim information, him and his staff absolutely cannot be trusted to make a simple repair on my bumper. I ended up informing this business that I'd be picking up my vehicle on Monday and taking it to another body shop only to start the process over again. I'm not going to bring business to these people after 4 days of dropping the ball then taking no ownership. Save yourself the headache, go to an auto body shop in town that knows how to run a quality business even if your insurance company suggests you head to this one... read more
