He was able to answer all my questions about getting a replacement water heater thoroughly. A few hours of work and we had a brand spankin' new Ruud water heater all nicely hooked up with accompanying drip pan. I recently took ownership of my childhood home after my parents passed away. I knew nothing about…read moreseptic tanks and had no clue how long it had been since the system had been pumped. I also did not know where the tank was located on the property. I looked up pumping companies, found HomeField East Valley (Priority Pumping) and scheduled an appointment to pump the tank. While on the phone the nice lady told me, according to records she found, that it was a 1000 gallon tank installed in 1970 and that there was an old record showing its location. I was able to get an appointment for the following day with Issac. Issac showed up on time and was very pleasant to deal with. He showed me the map that they had from county records and we agreed that it didn't look like it was accurate based on the layout of the house in relationship to the tank. Issac started the process of locating the tank. This proved to be difficult due to the large amounts of caliche located a foot or two below ground and the large size of the property. He ended up calling someone from the company who brought a camera that he was able to use to locate the tank. Upon digging down to the tank, approxiately 3 ft down, Issac showed me the flimsy plastic cover the last company used to cover the tank. It had just been laid over the opening and had not been secured at all. He also found the original concrete cover that they had just buried off to the side. Isaac asked me about installing a riser with a new cover and asked me if I was interested. I asked him what he would do and he said that's what he would do if it were his property as that would allow the removal of the cover at ground level to pump the tank in the future and avoid having to dig. I told him to go ahead with that. Issac pumped and cleaned the tank, educated me on how best to maintain a septic system and then installed the riser with the new cover. Did all of this cost more than the original quote to just pump the tank? Sure it did. The job required a lot more. Do I feel like I was scammed and "upsold" as some reviews on here are claiming? Absolutely not. I feel like the job was done honestly, with integrity and perhaps most importantly, correctly. To Tanya, I am very pleased with the service and Issac is a great representative of your company.

If you have AC needs, a home warranty, or both, skip K&K…read more I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with K&K during a home warranty AC service call. The system was diagnosed as having low refrigerant and likely a significant leak, with poor cooling performance and a very low temperature differential. The report recommended full system replacement. While those findings can indicate a serious issue, the recommendation to replace the entire system was made without documenting the actual leak location, performing a leak isolation test, or clearly identifying which component had failed. When I called the office for clarification, I spoke with Danny, who became defensive when I asked questions about the diagnosis and why repair options were not being considered. During that conversation, he told me to "stop acting so crazy" simply for asking for clarification on the findings, which was unprofessional and inappropriate. Danny was also confused regarding the home warranty process (see attached invoice from K&K) including statements that I would need to pay K&K directly, which contradicts the home warranty company. For context, I obtained a second opinion from another licensed HVAC company, which recommended a more measured approach including leak testing, refrigerant recharge, and evaluation of individual components before considering full system replacement. At a minimum, I would expect clear documentation of diagnostic steps, confirmation of failure points, and professional communication when recommending a major system replacement. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise other homeowners with home warranty coverage to get a second opinion before approving full HVAC system replacement recommendations from this company.
