I was hesitant as had not sold a car through a buying service, but Carvana did seem to be the easiest. Probably less than 10 minutes to answer the questions and had an offer later that day with the offer being good for about 6 days. On day three we decided to do it, and made an appointment for two days later for them to pick it up in a 3 hour window. I gathered the info and keys and was ready. I was a bit uncomfortable with signing before they had seen the car, but I did in the end and was ready. They drove to the house and called saying they were ready, it was about an hour after the earliest time. I gave them the keys, they looked over the car and handed me the check for the agreed on price. I gave them the title and the transaction was complete. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. I purchased my car 10/29/25 from MD and it's been a freaking headache. First night I noticed my headlights out on the passenger side. I reported it on day 3 once I was finally able to get ahold of someone. Silver rock was contacted within my 7 day period and of course DRAGGED it out to the last day just to say my car my Hyundai is covered through bumper to bumper warranty and I take it in to find out it's not and the headlight was an aftermarket product that SILVER ROCK should of covered. Silver Rock sucks. They lie about not getting the information. Im the middle man in it because their communication sucks and lack follow ups. It's now 11/21/25 and my headlight still isn't working but they expect a payment from me. Very interesting. I'm annoyed at this whole process especially being my first purchase and experience. Also I have yet to hear about a follow up or update on my plates that Carvana doesn't do for you if you live in VIRGINIA just a heads up on that as well. I wanna really return the car completely. 1600$ out my pocket on a purchase that was suppose to be closely inspected before given to me. ALSO SILVER-ROCK DOESN'T COVER BRAKES, TIRES, ROTORS, ENGINE ETC AFTER THE 7 days you know the important stuff so I suggest using your own mechanic because theirs can't be trusted and they aren't honest and get it inspected. The staff I worked with there went ABOVE & BEYOND with the level of service provided, so I hope each of them are recognized by name for their efforts: Corey Jones Cole (My Advocate) Rasheem Miles Jimmy Ford Mike Jones Cole Audrey Marano I am a first time Carvana user and honestly my experience with the Carvana Call Center was not good at all (except for a rep named Kaija who was great). At first, I tried to buy a Merecedes CLS 550. All my paperwork was submitted and signed. However, the day before the scheduled pickup date (1/11/25), Carvana told me that the car wouldn't be ready after all because of mechanical problems. This required me to extend my Enterprise car rental beyond what Geico insurance would cover. I subsequently chose a BMW X5 instead and was schedule to pick it up on 1/15/25. The day before this pickup date, a Carvana phone rep named Brian let me know that they would need a new RTA form from Geico (since I unknowingly signed the first one). Since I was at work and unable to get another RTA form from Geico before 5p, Brian said he would need to reschedule my appointment again, this time for 1/17/25. Keep in mind, I had already signed all documents and received an email from Carvana saying I was approved for pickup on 1/15/25. On the morning of 1/15/25, I got the correct paperwork submitted from Geico and then asked a Carvana phone rep named Andrew if I could keep my appointment for that day. I needed to return my rental that day, so it was imperative that I got my Carvana car that day also. Unfortunately, Andrew said no because "the system wouldn't allow a change in pickup date." I then decided to go directly to the Norfolk, MA Carvana Pickup Station. That is where I met Audrey and watched her team work their magic. Jimmy got an updated RTA form over to Geico while Corey explained the process and prepared my documentation. Rasheem advised me on how best to handle returning my Enterprise rental car and told me more about how Carvana works. Jimmy later got my vehicle detailed even though it wasn't on the schedule. After the purchase, I noticed a problem with the infotainment display where a stripe mark ran across the screen. Mike took the time to look at the screen and then informed me about how the included SilverRock Warranty works. At the very end of the in-person purchasing experience, I had a great conversation with Audrey and let her know that she and her team is single-handedly the reason why I decided to complete my transaction with Carvana. If I was unable to pick my car that day, I was surely going to cancel my Carvana order and buy a car from different dealer. It is very easy to get a valuation for your car on Carvana. Once you accept the offer, Carvana does all the rest of the "stuff". Carvana sends clear instructions for pickup, what you need to do with the title-mainly-do not sign, as well as any other documentations. The pickup driver called several hours before pick up to verify the address. Once he arrived he did a diagnostic test on the car, loaded the car on his trailer and gave us a check for the agreed amount. A rush to get paperwork in, told we were all set, then a 911 for more paperwork with 2 hour deadline and threats to move pick up date. Accommodated deadline, date for pick up moved anyway because vehicle had issue. We were working with a tight window, so needed to pick another vehicle that was available same week. The original pick up date for that vehicle was also pushed out because "they didn't put vehicle on the truck"... Next pick up date (another week out) moved again an hour before we were on our way because they lost the keys (?!). No consideration for the multiple inconveniences. My experience was good the buying process straight forward you kind of have to do some leg work when financing third part but that was no problem for me, the prices were as advertised and I paid not special fees or anything the numbers I was given is what I was paid. However we got out 2017 Silverado and we could not put gas In it due to fuel leaking all over the ground so I took it to my father inlaws hose while we're were visiting him, he and my brother in law put the fill hose for the gas on with a hose clamp, (the hose was ziptied on and fell off) there is no problem over all either the vehicle but the car facts said the vehicle has the filler neck replaced and the hose was ziptied on after a certified Chevy dealer did the work and carvana never caught the problem. I would like some kind of compensation due to if I had to take the vehicle to a shop and it's still under a warranty. read more
