While visiting NYC, I strolled the city alone hungry while my family slept. Carve was close to our hotel, and looked like I could grab a quick bite alone, so I gave it a shot. Although I had already eaten Salmon lox bagels while visiting, their "Time Square Bagel" was hard to turn down. Their bagel was good! Nice and toasty, with that New York flare. However, I felt that there was not enough smoked salmon for the whole bagel. Other than that, the coffee was also very good. Restaurant itself is not the most attractive place to grab a bite, but I still enjoyed sitting and people watching out the window. It was pretty busy, so I figure a lot of people are here often, mainly to pick up food or grab a quick bite.

This is one of my favorite pizza joints in NYC! Since 2018 we have made sure to grab a slice from the guys whenever we are in the city. Always a consistent great taste but also very hospitable and friendly this is a must have when you're in town.

Place your order and pay at the counter. Mind the obnoxious and entitled tourists that will block your way to front and hoard the seats, come here after the theater goers have gone to sit and enjoy your tasty and piping hot pizza. Sure you will get a better bargain someplace else but if you are in the theatre district but a quick bite, try this no nonsense place. I have...plenty of times!

We visited three times during our stay in NYC. Came recommended by our hotel and it didn't disappoint. Great food, and great service by the staff. It was within walking distance from our hotel, so good the first time and reasonable with pricing we kept going back. Would definitely recommend and go again when we're in the city next.

Cheap, delicious food. We swung by here for a bite after checking out Times Square. All the food places were pretty busy so we stopped in here because it was a little more manageable. Two garlic knots and 4 pizza slices (big slices too!) ran us about $20. Super reasonable especially so close to a tourist trap.

This is a small cafe on the corner of a street near Times Square. Food - It was good, though we only had the items that were free with a ticket from Hotel Edison. Of these, the Homefries were very good, and you can request a special drink instead of the 2 options if you would like. Service - Quick and efficient Parking - They don't have their own parking lot, and walking is usually better than driving in NYC anyway. Overall, this place is good.

I am not a pizza lover but the food here looked so good and the recommendations made by the staff were even better. Plenty of happy guests that kept coming back for more slices -- Despite the crowd, the atmosphere remains lively and enjoyable. Be prepared for a short wait during peak hours, but the efficient staff manage the flow well. It was cute to see families dining there and the kids asking for more slices. The pizza was mildly greasy but the flavors were THERE -- The food at was outstanding. Every slice we ordered was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. From pizza to cakes to desserts, the menu offers a delightful variety that caters to all tastes. I really wanted to try the cheesecake and fruit tart but I was so bloated, I couldn't even fit sweets. Overall, I would come back the next time in NY!

Super convenient if you are in the Theater District. Excellent stop for something savory or sweet : lots and lots of pizzas (large slices, thin crust),, variety of toppings), baked goods and desserts (cheesecake!), sandwiches and breakfast items, too. We stopped in a couple of times for a slice of cheesecake to satisfy a late night craving. Can't remember the flavors (strawberry and oreo/cookie maybe?) but they were eaten quickly and with no complaints ! The pizzas looked good, but we had other pizza places we wanted to try. Might give them a try next time.

Not the best pizza that I've had in NYC and not the worst. Open late, on the edge of the theatre district and Hell's Kitchen, hours are a plus. Ambience is fast fast. Service? How many times did I have to tell the guy that I wanted a white pizza, not a Hawaiian slice? I tried most languages for WHITE. Finally it emerged from the oven, and I used the universal translator of pointing at it. The light bulb, dim as it was, went on! They make salads, sandwiches, breakfasts etc. All at about the same level. Won't thrill ya. Won't kill ya.

Late night Pizza here was not very good and I wouldn't recommend it I wish i had more details but I think there's for sure better options in the city and I came in from out of town so I was dissapointed. I got a supreme slice and it was super doughy with out really much else. Also it was $6 a slice which i guess wouldnt have stung as much if it was halfway decent. read more

This was close to our hotel so we stopped in for a sandwich one night. My mom and I split the chicken club and it was so tasty! My son wasn't hungry for dinner and so he got a giant chocolate chip cookie. All of it was so good! We decided to go back a second time! My son got a slice of cheese pizza and he said it was way better than the one he got at Joe's. We tried the turkey club and it was amazing! Got muffins for breakfast and they were also great! I needed Quick bite before the show. I ordered two slices and they weee heated and served at the perfect temperature. I asked for an extra cup of sauce for dipping the crust. The seating is tight but you don't need much time to eat. I tried the pepperoni and sausage which was good and had lots of meat. I also had a slice of spinach and ricotta cheese which was creamy and crisp. NY pizza is the best. I love thin crust and I love that the sauce isn't sweet. I paid just under $12 for both slices and was completely full!! Cheap NYC dinner!! read more

Carve... Outstanding New York Pizza by the slice especially late at night after a few drinks. We ambled into this very busy corner pizza joint and we're blown away by the selections of pizza by the slice. A dream, too many options to choose from. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about their offerings. I'm sure they have to deal with tourists like us all the time but that did not deter the great service. It seems like Carve may be a chain, so f that is so then you are in for a great treat because the pizzas are so good. read more

PRICE: ok. They charge a bit more than most places. FOOD: Honestly, pretty freaking good. I went about 3 times in my 3 days there. STAFF: Could use a bit more training on customer service, especially the cashier. First of all, I'm trying to decide what I want. Don't rush me. I understand it's in Times Square, but y'all gotta understand that there are so many tourist and unlike myself, some of them have difficulty speaking English. Wow, a delicious club sandwich with whatever you want on it. And I got the mushroom pizza which was delicious with a tasty crust. I was staying around the corner so I ate in my hotel but you can eat inside. They have some seating area. Huge club sandwich, slice of pizza and a drink $20. Not bad in the heart of time square. It's a decent grab n go spot. Mostly did breakfast but their pizza also looks good. They have limited seating but never was a major problem for the times I went. Pretty fast service. Prices are fair. Kind of what you expect. Nothing special but it's good. Their fresh squeezed OJ is amazing. That took it from 3 to 4 stars. Ok reducing back to 3 stars. They messed up my "no dairy" "no cheese" order two days in a row. Repeatedly told them, no butter or cheese but got it still. Annoying for all involved. read more

Talk about New York Deli! This is its. This is a mother place we found that was definitely a repeat. We ate something here everyday we were in New York. The style, flavor and presentation of the food was awesome. The portions are well endowed and worth every New York cent. Experiencing the staffs jubilant spirit and New York swag was such a hit, I couldn't get Taiya out of here. Her and that Pastrami sandwich met everyday around noon! I was craving a chicken parmagiana sandwich for lunch and found this place on Seamless. The food was hot and ready when I got there, and there was no line - quick and easy transaction. Although I do wish I remembered to pick up some napkins on the way out as there weren't any packed in the bag. The sandwich was delicious and very filling. The cheese was melty. Each bread half was made into garlic bread first, making the entire sandwich super rich and buttery - maybe even a little too rich. I only ate half so far and will have the other half later. Best pizza around times square, typical new York pizza. We got to know about this from one of our friends. This is small eatery but serves some of best pizza in NYC. 2-3 tables and tabletop are there to sit. They have an oven right in front if you and they bake huge pizza and sell slice wise. A typical cost of one slice is $4-6. Veg options are there. One slice was enough for me. Coffee was equally good. They also serve the sandwich, salads. If you are around times sq, do try their pizza. Touristy! I stopped by to grab a slice of pizza before watching a Broadway and while it did the job (quick and filling), I was astounded at the price...there aren't any menus here describing the single slice pricing, and I was so surprised to find that it would be a whopping $5 for one slice. Not only that, the pizza tasted mediocre and some had very little ingredients as toppings. The crust is thin, but I found it a bit too hard and slightly overcooked. I know I shouldn't expect much given the touristy location, but I just couldn't justify the price for such an average slice of pizza. The taste wasn't terrible, but it was by no means amazing either. FYI, there are limited tables and no bathrooms here. read more

There are a few locations, but I decided to visit this one because it was the most convenient for getting to and from home. I got there around 7:00 PM, which felt a little close to closing time since Google said they close at 9:00 PM, but it wasn't busy at all. In fact, I was only the third customer to place an order. I ordered the La Summer sandwich and added pesto. After sitting down and taking my first bite, I immediately understood the hype. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'm not even a huge sandwich person when it comes to subs and deli meats, but everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients paired together perfectly, and you could still taste each one individually. The only thing I'd change next time is the meat. I had no idea prosciutto was a type of ham, but honestly, it didn't even taste like ham to me. It was sliced paper-thin, slightly salty, and worked surprisingly well with everything else. Next time, though, I'll probably add salami just to see how it compares. Overall, this sandwich was a solid 10/10, and I will absolutely be back--whether it's to try a different sandwich or, if we're being honest, order the exact same one again with salami added. I will say it's on the expensive side, but that's New York City for you. Apparently, all of the ingredients are flown in from Italy. After tax and tip, I paid a whopping $28 for a single sandwich. This pizza place was really close to our theatre venue. The staff was super nice and quick. The place was jam-packed after our show, but we got through the line quickly. One slice was enough to be satisfied and the margarita was super tasty. Definitely would come back again. read more

Great pizza! lots of different flavors and even late at night they have many options. i moved over to this side of town and this has become my local late night pizza place! lots of great brownie type desserts too! read more
