I was looking for a New York pizza and found this place and I tried it and it is extremely delicious. Service was great food was amazing and great service. Ioanna was very fast, very nice and took care of me really good. Highly recommend this place for pizza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great ambiance as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Best meal we had in NYC!!! Service was great and food was amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great pizza joint vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks were strong and priced right. Old fashioned is on point from a KY bourbon connoisseur. Salad and the sausage with peppers for an appetizer were amazing. Entree was an order pasta with sausage and the spicy marinara sauce...wow was so good!! Also got the 17"wood fired pizza with sausage and pepperoni.. as a KY guy wanting to try NY pizza..this will MAKE us come back!!! Outstanding! Service and managers were so friendly and accommodating. Making sure all was right with the meal and service. Definitely trying again the next time we are back in town!!

Come across this place on a late night back to our hotel. Wanted pasta and it seemed like a good spot to try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was pretty late and the restaurant wasn't packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was ok, not the best but who knows. It's not a huge deal. The chicken fettuccine was really good. Amazing. My sister in law had a burger. She said it was good too.

Five stars: Great I might be biased because I was starving after traveling 7-8 hours, but the food here was delicious. We got into NYC around 10 PM, so many places were closed. One of the benefits of this restaurant is that it is open late. It is also close to many of the hotels by Central Park. The staff were friendly. We did not interact with them much because we ordered fast and devoured our food shortly after it arrived. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked the decor of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The upstairs area has a lot of seating if you have a big party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I thought the prices and portions were reasonable. We did not think we were going to be able to eat everything, but we surprised ourselves. I cannot say whether this is the best pizza in NYC, but it was pretty darn good. We would go here again!

One of the best flavored bites of pizza I've ever had. Kept it simple and ordered a margarita with no toppings. Sauce was beautifully sweet with a great tomato flavor and the crust had perfect chew, not fluffy or dense which really added to it being a first class slice.

Right next to The Tonight Show. There are a couple of "Angelo's Coal Fire Pizza's" in the area, mostly the same menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location has more seating up straits so requesting seating upstairs to avoid the awkward on top of your neighbor seating like most NYC establishments.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the Caesar salad, Italian salad and the cheese ravioli. We enjoyed the food but not the price to portions. Salads are like a side salad and not an entree. Ravioli is delicious. They have a full bar selection with 3 draft beers and another cans wine the wine list look extensive.

A convenient Midtown stop for great Italian food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]With a traditional-feeling atmosphere Angelo's has a larger seating area upstairs than downstairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Located next to the studio where the Stephen Colbert show is taped. Service on a weekday at noon was very good. Only a few parties were eating when we were there. We started with the Grilled Octopus appetizer. The octopus came with capers, a couple different kinds of olives and fingerling potatoes. While bold on salt, but not salty, this was a delicious dish. I ordered the Spaghetti Con Polpette. Polpette are meatballs. The tomato sauce was fresh and excellent, about the best I have ever had. The meatballs were large, tender and mildly seasoned. Overall, an excellent dish. JP opted for the Spaghetti Di Grano Duro Con I Vegetali, a fancy way of saying pasta with vegetables. This dish was quite decent. Our entrees came with warm rolls. The butter packets were cold from the fridge, but I will mostly overlook that because everything else was so good.

We stopped by here before going to Gatsby and had a great time! The food was absolutely delicious - pro tip: ask for pesto sauce on the side and dip your pizza in it... Absolutely to die for!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]a pretty casual restaurant that seems pretty traditional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] there's free bread and olive oil for starters. we tried the: - 17" old fashioned margherita ($26) with mushrooms (+$3.95) and sausage (+$3.95) - rigatoni alla vodka - spaghetti con polpette - fried calamari everything was average at best. the meatballs in the spaghetti were kind of mushy, but they were huge. the rigatoni was much better. the calamari were kind of bland but the marinara helped. the pizza was alright, crust was kind of chewy though

Great pizza! We wanted a pizza stop that we could enjoy while in NYC! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the vibes and the service was great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!

Not to be dramatic but this pizza saved our night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After a challenging first day in NYC with travel mishaps, nearly missing entry to Othello, and the most brutal windy rain I've ever walked through, my friend & I stumbled into Angelo's and ate this entire pizza at 11pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No regrets. Would do it again.

We had a quick dinner (30 minutes) before a Broadway show. It was perfect, fast, delicious and authentic. We ordered the individual margarita and white pies to share between 3 of us. It was perfect because we were hungry. Service was nice, the ambiance is a typical Italian pizza spot. Definitely check this place out if you need something rest but tasty before a show!

I ordered the Lamb Ragù pasta, and every bite was packed with rich, slow-cooked flavor. To start, my brother and I shared a pizza and the lobster appetizer, and both were incredible. My brother ordered the truffle pasta, and after stealing a few bites, I can honestly say it was just as unforgettable. The atmosphere was on another level. Even on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was buzzing with energy, full of happy people, great conversations, and an authentic Italian vibe that made you want to stay for hours. The service from Jose was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had an amazing experience. If you're looking for incredible Italian food, outstanding service, and one of the best dinner spots in the East Village, OLIO E PIÙ belongs at the top of your list. When we entered the restaurant and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were delighted to find free wine provided for us to pour in the elevator. Admittedly, it was red wine, so not my favorite, and it did taste cheap, but still appreciated. To start off, we ordered the onion torta, focaccia, and smashed potatoes. The onion torta was surprisingly good and tasted like a form of french onion soup. As a focaccia enthusiast, the focaccia was fluffy and delicious. We also got the charred beans, carrots, ravioli, tagliatelle, ravioli, and trout to share. The charred beans were surprisingly the long beans and not the smaller ones we expected. However, they were very juicy and better than we thought they would be. The rigatoni resembled cacio e pepe with its pepperiness, the tagliatelle tasted like standard red sauce, but i did enjoy the ravioli and the ricotta inside. For dessert, we had the basque cheesecake which was alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake. Overall, we had a great time at Ci Siamo and I would definitely recommend ordering the focaccia and onion torta and we could have skipped the carrots, beans, trout, and tagliatelle.

I tried to explain why labeling those items as gluten free is misleading, but he seemed completely disinterested, even annoyed, dismissed what I was saying, and simply responded that the pasta is gluten free. I acknowledged that the server doesn't write the menu, but absolutely zero customer service skills. The service overall was lacking. Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess. We had to request the bill from the manager & paid at the hostess stand. Before paying, I spoke with the manager and explained what had occured. He was more professional than the server, but he was still dismissive of my concerns and of the service we received. Management seemed happy enough to promote the "option".
