Each trip is a tug of war of between which flavors to bring home, but no matter which three make the trip with me, they're always welcomed with open arms and open mouth. I'd put this ice cream up in a taste test against any of the fancy (and often more expensive) brands available in your supermarket. It's that good. When we go to someone's house and they offer up a brand like Häagen-Daz, Tillamok, Breyer's, or Jeni's, it's always a disappointment. They're just not as good. The rest of the store is a useful mix of daily necessities like bread and the aforementioned milk, and junk food like chips and cookies. Lastly, why is called the Trenton Farmer's Market when the location is in Lawrence Township? I realize Trenton is literally across the street, but it bugs me.

They've an impressive range of flavors, and I try to always try a flavor that I've not had in a long time, however I need to have my chocolate cherry more often than not. It's also very common to see people walking along the counter to pick their flavors. If you haven't made a decision, and the people behind you in line know what they want, do the right thing and let them go first. They give healthy scoops, and one scoop, although it doesn't sound like much, might be enough for someone with less post-dinner space available in their belly. If it's your first time visiting, watch the scoops being given to the person in front of you before making your decision. As an added bonus, during Spring and Summer Saturday nights, they have live music in the room as well. It's a cheap, fun date.

Halo Pub does not allow tastes anymore so when they are out of your family's favorite flavors, it is a blind guess as to what to order. The hot fudge is delicious, but hard to enjoy when they give so little and the ice cream starts out melty. I hope the management will start listening to customer feedback and fix the stocking issues. The staff says that they request more stock of popular flavors, but don't get them. Lastly, the bathroom is nasty.

The brookie was the size and weight of a hockey puck but much tastier. The brownie part was ooey and cookie part was a nice contrast. I'd get either again. Service was friendly and quick. My sister originally purchased a Too Good To Go order with a pickup window of 9 AM-4 PM. We arrived around 3:30 PM, well within the pickup window, and were told they had no cookies left to give us. This was confusing considering the business doesn't close until 10 PM. They told us to come back another day, earlier. While we were there, we decided to give the place a try anyway and purchased a cookie, milkshake, and coffee. Unfortunately, all three were mediocre. We came back today to use the Too Good To Go order. Since it's a 30-minute drive, we called ahead to make sure they actually had cookies available before making the trip. The girl who answered the phone had a very dismissive attitude and told us they only had one Too Good To Go order available for the day, which seemed strange considering multiple orders are offered for purchase through the app. When we arrived, we were again told they didn't have the order available. Instead, I was offered three-day-old cookies. At that point, I had already spent around $10 on the Too Good To Go order and made the drive, so I took them rather than leave empty-handed again. The entire experience defeated the purpose of using Too Good To Go. If a business offers a pickup window, customers should be able to pick up their order during that window--or the order should be canceled/refunded if there isn't enough surplus food available. Between making two trips, the poor customer service, and ultimately being given three-day-old cookies, I was extremely disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not purchase a Too Good To Go order from here again.

There are two other very good ice cream spots in Princeton and a third new one that looks interesting but if you are getting just one don't miss out on Thomas Sweet.
