It turned out to be a lively spot with plenty of energy. Atmosphere The vibe was festive and upbeat, with music pumping and a full dining room. Despite the crowd, our wait time was surprisingly short. We were seated at a high‑top half‑booth facing the bar and the rest of the restaurant, which gave us a great view without being stuck in a walkway. Overall, a fun and inviting environment. Service Service was a bit hit‑or‑miss. Our server seemed rushed from the start and didn't ask whether it was our first visit. She repeatedly asked if we were ready to order, and when we said we needed more time, she simply walked away. Once we did order, the food runner brought our appetizer without plates, and we had to request both plates and the chips that were supposed to accompany the dip. Nothing terrible, but definitely room for improvement.Food Texas Dip - $16.50 Cheese dip mixed with shrimp, chicken, steak, pico de gallo, and your choice of chips or tortillas. This was the standout dish for me--rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Enchiladas Supreme - $21.00 Four enchiladas: chicken, ground beef, shredded beef, and cheese, topped with sour cream, lettuce, and pico de gallo. The enchiladas were flavorful with a noticeable spice kick. Good overall, though I preferred the Texas Dip. Overall Value Casa Blanca offers a lively atmosphere and flavorful food, especially the Texas Dip. While the service could be more attentive, the overall experience was enjoyable. Overpriced for what you get. We are visiting from Miami, FL, and were really looking forward to trying this place. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not meet our expectations at all, especially for the price point. The flavors were underwhelming and not what we were hoping for. Drinks were okay, nothing special. The service also fell short--slow and not very attentive, which made the overall experience even less enjoyable. It seems like a nice spot and could easily be a go-to place, but the pricing just isn't realistic. Paying around $100 for something as simple as quesadillas and fajitas is hard to justify. This place had potential with all the bottles of Clase Azul on display which is one of my two fave tequilas. But it was terrible. Service at the bar was incredibly slow despite only 8 people seated. Took almost 10 min just to get a menu, and almost another 10 to place an order. And no smiles either...like we were all a burden to the staff and/or they didn't want to be there serving customers. Wow. Went for lunch and both adults & kids enjoyed their meal. Chips were fresh, warm, and flavorful, paired with green salsa that was spectacular. Enchiladas suizas & chile rellenos for adults, both well executed and just a little unique in flavor and presentation that it was a nice changeup from the norm. Kids menu was robust (8 options?) and acceptably priced at $8.50. Kids taco & burrito combo were more like adult portions (and presentation), which was fine by us. We went Sunday lunch and were seated immediately with quick service. Interior was gorgeous and would definitely be a fun evening out. We are so happy to find this gem. Service is friendly. The restaurant is beautiful and has a big screen showing the Swiss alps when we were there. Drinks are good but very pricey. Their house margarita was small and$15. The chips are homemade and comes with salsa and avocado dip. We ordered cheese dip also. The menu is fusion. They have bowls, burritos, and other specials. My wife got the lentil soup that was delicious. I got a cheese steak burrito. I got their hot sauce and added it. It was very good. Prices are moderate but good food. read more

Not much flavor, IMO. Jalapeños aren't spicy at all. Tastes like pickles. What's the point? Chips and salsa are just ok. Salsa was good, but can use a little more heat. Guac salsa was good. Beer was cold. Atmosphere is AWESOME! They did a beautiful job decorating! Vibe is great! Lots of tv's! Service was great! Raquel and Kevin were very nice and attentive! But for the prices of food, they will have to step up their game on flavor (I'm Hispanic from Denver so I think I can comment on this) We'll come back and try other dishes, but for this first time, 3 stars. This by far is the nicest Mexican restaurant in Bradenton. The menu have a variety of options and offers a unique spin on some of the usual items that every other local Mexican restaurant offers. The food was presented nicely but nothing tastes good. The sauces were bland, the protein was over cooked the burnt my taco shells and there is nothing worst than taking that first sip of margarita and you get a mouth full of salt when you ordered a sugar rim. I sent the drink back they gave me a new glass with a sugar rim but the same ol salty margarita. The drinks are not cheap but they are nicely presented. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. It is a fun, high energy upbeat spot but I don't see a reason to go back since the food or drinks appeased my pallet. read more

Ahh so so only Well, I was dying to try Casa Blanca. We did yesterday wasn't too busy. Food was just OK. Very very small portions hardly any meat in the tacos which I ordered. HUSBAND had shrimp tacos again hardly anything in there most Mexican restaurants give you chips and salsa you have to pay for them here they were kind hard tasting. We love Mexican food and go to various restaurants and this is one of our least favorites now, really we're looking forward to liking the place but very expensive not worth the time to go really, and it was not decorated like Mexico to me at all. We really enjoyed our lunch! Our server was warm and prompt, starting us with homemade chips with two kinds of salsa. For our lunches, we ordered one of the enchilada dishes and the shrimp ajo. Both were delicious with thoughtful, colorful presentations. We especially appreciated perfectly cooked meats, flavorful sauces, and overall good food. If it was a small mom and pop establishment I understand as things can be tight for them but this is an over reach and unfortunately I will not come back. Yeilin started taking our orders and we were amazed at her ability to get orders right and served us quickly and correctly. All of us complemented the service and taste of Mexico food. My Flaka Margherita was a 10/10. I ordered the lunch #1 which was disappointing. My taco was soggy, it fell apart. The chilli was like soup inside a pepper, disappointing . We had to pay for chips and salsa at a Hispanic restaurant which is weird to me. The decor and atmosphere was lovely. The waiter I believe did his best to serve our large group of 12 but missed the mark. Its new so I don't mind if the waiter isn't perfect. Didn't check in with us often enough, skipped over people when take drink orders but he was somewhat nice. Would I go back, for drinks yes for food no. And what's with the dessert thing on the side? That throws off the whole look of the place. If you want a nice place to have a great drink, go. The food is overpriced and not worth the price. Oh and small portions. However something got my attention immediately, when the bill arrived it gives you option to pay "cash 0 fees" or "Credit card with a fee" the card fee is 6-7%. Now we all know the very few people carry cash these day, so it is a guaranteed the you will pay the "card fee" that being said aren't we being squeezed enough by the economy, now we go for a night out to enjoy ourselves and we have to pay the restaurant credit card processing fees plus tips, mind you I have no problem with the tips, but I do have a problem with the restaurant card processing fee!! It takes a lot to get me to write a review. First, the atmosphere is very nice. Second, everything else was not. Got "chips" with two sauces in some small containers that made dipping them difficult. Neither sauce was any good and the chips are not chips, they are like fried something that was not good at all. The we had two steak quesadillas. They had absolutely no taste. I mean zero. I couldn't even drown it in sauce to make it taste like something, because the sauces were bad. They came with lettuce and diced tomatoes (not Pico) with nothing on them (nothing) - not even salt. The Margaritas actually had alcohol in them, but they had no flavor. For what they are charging here it is totally not worth it. There are other really good inexpensive Mexican restaurants locally. Read some reviews. They give you much more food that tastes much better for a reasonable price. read more

Came for a big group birthday celebration on a Friday night. We were quite a large group so I expected service to be a bit slow but not only was it slow it was low quality. We waited about 20 minutes to get our drink order taken, had to wave down our server to order our food. Our food came with large grilled onion that was completely raw, the churrasco wasn't very well seasoned. The menu prices do not reflect what the actual prices are. A few of us didn't get the tortillas that were advertised on the menu but were given conflicting answers that some didn't come with it despite what the menu said. We ordered a cantarito that was advertised as 55$ and it was 155$. Apparently the tequila was $55 and the squirt and orange juice that was in the cantarito was another $100. We asked about the discrepancy and instead of saying they were rectify the menu prices to truly reflect what the actual prices were we were met with questions like "why would a tequila bottle be $55?" It was upsetting to be spoken to like we were crazy when all they had to do was at least say they would update their menu so customers would know what they were paying for.
