"Iced Pear" & Pomegranate Martini - Salud!

While Long Island has no lack of Italian eateries, not all of them deserve five stars - or even the time of day. Happy to say that Casa di Fratelli offers a stellar dining experience with delicious food, gracious service and fair pricing. Cocktails were refreshing and potent. Shared a dozen baked clams to start, the tender bivalves topped with bread crumbs resting in a pool of lemony butter, just excellent. My veal marsala with chestnuts entree was so yum. The tender pounded meat was topped with a sauce that tickled my tongue with a symphony of flavors; tangy sundried tomatoes, sweet chestnuts and rich mushroom gravy melded into a divine elixir. Veggies, often a mushy afterthought at other establishments, were well sauteed and crisp. My partner's lobster ravioli was stuffed to the gills with sweet meat and topped with a rich creamy sauce. He polished it off quietly and quickly, always a good sign. Portions were ample, enough for leftovers devoured at lunch the next day. Service was friendly without being overbearing. Plenty of parking in the back. Discount price fixe dinner menu offered Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 - 6:00. Reservations recommended. Thank you fellow Yelpers, for steering me to yet another winner that I had overlooked before.

I had a great time eating here, the pasta was delicious. This Bolognese was more liquidy than others I've tried, but it was just as good. The service was great, we had a reservation set for 8 pm and there were no issues upon arriving. Ambiance: nice for a family dinner / date

Had dinner here last night for the first time. Everything was great from the service to the food. Servers were all friendly and attentive. Water glasses were always filled. Food was delicious. There were four of us. We shared the beet salad and truffle buratta. Both were delicious (i put some buratta on one piece of the complimentary bruschetta and it was so good). I had Chicken Paillard- had vegetable medley instead of mashed potatoes. The rest of my party had chicken parmigiana with spaghetti, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Pappardelle Siciliana. I only took photos of my food. Everyone loved their meals. Portions were great. Ended the meal with cappuccino and coffee. As we were finishing near closing, they were unfortunately out of the chocolate mousse we ordered. Next time. Will definitely be back!!

We were three and all loved it. They put out an Italian bread basket with wrapped pats of butter and one bruschetta per person. We split two starters: lobster bisque soup (with chopped shrimp); and mussels "posilipo" in a soupy tomato sauce. Both were delicious and we used the bread to wipe our plates and bowls. My veal "carciofi" was three small thin cutlets topped with lots of artichokes, heirloom tomatoes, garlic, and almond slivers with sides of mashed potato, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, and asparagus, all in a light sauce - wholesome and eye opening, let me devour these popping tastes feeling. My son also had veal cutlets, but in a chestnut sauce with similar results. My wife had the branzino "meuniere" topped with spinach. We were full and couldn't order dessert. Service was courteous and friendly. We had a nicely set table near the bar, but it was relatively quiet and allowed soft spoken conversation. Price was moderate and worth it. I must've passed this restaurant 100 times and never noticed it, but learned about it from two fellow Yelpers - thank you!

Since I last came 3 years ago I have tried a ton of dishes! I actually had hosted a luncheon hosted here and It was delicious. Staff was amazing and the food was great. Last night I went back for dinner and did the star lite menu. For 35$ I had an app, entree & desert. We ordered all diff apps (3 ppl). Caprese salad, baked clams & pasta fagiole soup. So delicious! For entrees we had pork chop, chicken franchises @ rigatoni bolegnese. All delicious and the waiter was great! Highly recommend.

Was looking for a new place for dinner and for a friend's birthday celebration. Friend found Casa di Fratelli and made dinner reservations, which I highly recommend doing. Parking lot is in the back of the restaurant. Overall service and staff were good. Fairly large dining room - good for parties. Full bar to watch sports and eat. Started off with complimentary bread. Bruschetta and foccacia were good. Regular bread was on the hard size. Appetizers to share: Grilled octopus was good. Avocado tower was a bit on the bland side though presentation was nice. For entrees, we had farfalle con rabe, duck, chicken francese and lobster ravioli. All were good, however, the lobster ravioli was very thinly filled. That made the dish a bit disappointing. Note: If you pay by credit/debit, there will be an addiional 3.75% surcharge.

Dope service Dope food Dope wait staff And most importantly I felt at home eating at the establishment. That's the most important part. We didn't even finish the sangria. They actually give you beyond your money worth!

We came to Casa di Fratelli for Restaurant week and the food was amazing. The place was packed on a Friday might at around 6:30 pm. They have a small parking lot in the back which is very convenient. Our waiter came and introduced himself and said he would come back. Service did take a little longer than usual but that it expected considering how busy they were. The food here is pretty good. The mussels were amongst my favorite. The chicken was also pretty flavorful. We did get some drinks, I wouldn't necessarily come here for drinks and next time I would probably stick to just wine. Overall we had a delicious and filling family dinner. We will def return to Thai establishment. :-)

Yum. On the table with the bread

We were seated by the window as soon as we walked in. The entire staff was friendly and efficient. Our server, Joe, was outstanding. He was warm, genuinely personable, and served us with a smile that made us feel right at home. A basket of warm pizza bread arrived almost immediately and was the perfect way to start our meal. It was so delicious that I ended up eating most of the bread! I ordered the shrimp Parmesan with angel hair pasta, while hubby enjoyed the chicken Parmesan with linguine. Both dishes were served piping hot, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. The portions were so hearty that we even had leftovers to take home. It turned out to be a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. We will definitely be back again soon!

Entering the restaurant, you get a feel of Italy with all the Italian artworks depicting scenes of Italy. The menu encompasses a broad range of delicacies including a great assortment of appetizers, numerous panini's, hero's, pizza, salads burgers, etc, but the stars of our dining experience were the food entrees. We began our dining experience munching on a scrumptious basket of garlic bread. I've found, over my many years of dining, that restaurants that serve a great bread basket always follow it up with great food, and this was Mauro. After reviewing a litany of appetizer items, we chose absolutely delicious artichokes oreganata. We followed the appetizer with an order of luscious eggplant parmigiana along with perfectly cooked al dente rigatoni. We also ordered gnocchi with a sublime pomodoro sauce. The sauce was not something typically seen, in as much it contained a nice quantity of onions. For dessert we had a debate between chocolate cake or a cannoli, keeping in mind that the restaurant is owned by a great bakery. Our waitress, Samantha (Sam) who was outstanding throughout, said it's a tossup. We finally agreed on the chocolate cake. When the dessert arrived, to our delight, there was an order of light and very tasty chocolate cake, and a creamy & crispy freshly filled cannoli, compliments of Samantha. In summary, we had an excellent meal coupled with outstanding service what more can you ask for in a restaurant? If possible, I recommend weekday dining. I was told it can busier on the weekend, and I would think noisy. Mangia!
