First of all I feel terrible that I neglected to review this earlier!!! We were on a little tour up the East Coast of Florida and Casa Grandview was one of the main reasons we decided to stop a West Palm Beach. We had looked online many many times but simply could not choose which room type we wanted as they were all so different. After deciding to just wing it and go see them in person, Cheryl and her staff (and our adorable little furry guard dog Lucy by her side!) could not have been more helpful in giving us a tour and showing us everything we wanted to see and more! We looked at the Bungalows, the little places across the street, the upstairs apartments and finally decided on the Guest House as we loved the big open space with high ceiling and stone floor. Fridge was stacked, coffee at the ready. It was just beautiful! The grounds were great, the pool was a little oasis in the middle of the beautiful gardens, everything designed differently but it all just works! Walking distance to shops and main area with restaurants, cinema etc... I would not hesitate in returning to stay either in the same room or one of the other amazing offerings, and would recommend to anyone. There really is something to suit everyone's needs and more. We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Casa Grandview in West Palm Beach. The B&B is located in the Flamingo Park area of West Palm, which is a wonderful neighborhood, and you can walk into West Palm from there, as well as visit the Norton Museum. Walk to the Rosemary Plaza area and enjoy the shops and restaurants. The suite we had was quiet, private and had all the amenities you could want, and the pool area was bucolic and lovely. Cheryl runs an absolutely fabulous operation up in Grandview Heights. She has renovated a whole village of vintage craftsman bungalows into vacation house nirvana. Couple that with her positively sparkling personality, delicious made-to-order breakfasts, super-friendly staffing, and fantastic prices and you have a total winner of a combination. We travelled to Casa Grandview in 2009 - at the height of the recession, we were able to get some *amazing* travel deals. I originally found Casa Grandview on vrbo.com, but once I read the reviews on Trip Advisor, I was ready to book. We were not disappointed in any way! We chose the Urban City Chic casita, and although I'd have preferred to be on the other side of the 'compound', it was so comfortable and the decor was just our style. We've stayed at a lot of rental properties, but Casa Grandview goes beyond all the others by a long shot. I loved have all the personal items and toiletries available, along with the very nice quality linens and robes. And the 'welcome basket' of breakfast foods, soft drinks and water was greatly appreciated; Cheryl supplies a very generous amount of good quality items, so you don't have to run out to the grocery store. Plenty of satellite entertainment and free wi-fi meant we didn't feel bored when it rained. We didn't take advantage of the bicycles, but did enjoy the walkability of the location. I particularly enjoyed the neighborhood and looking at all the charming bungalows. Next visit, I think I'll choose one of the bungalows/cottages closer to the pools and enjoy more outdoor space as well as an evening dip in the pool/jacuzzi. read more

This B&B is one of a kind. They have a stellar staff! Wait... Not really staff more like mom n' pops cooking your breakfast to order. The service is personalized to your wants and needs. They even decorated my breakfast with a chocolate baby carriage as I'm expecting. Everything is within a two mile radius- restaurants, beach, entertainment and parks. Great amenities. Beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes are free of charge to borrow. Love this little oasis! We'll be back. Thanks Jahaida and staff! read more

Where do I start. Was going to Sunfest wknd and was bummed all the chain hotels were sold out. After we found this boutique hotel (5 minute Uber ride)we are going to stay here from now on . Crazy attention to detail Amazing new marble bathrooms, 2pools, soundproofed rooms, super soft bed & sheets (probably 1000 thread count supima cotton sheets), fabulous full breakfast with mimosas included. The ambiance is incredibly charming, the owners are hospitable, the staff is so congenial, breakfast was nutritional and delicious, the landscaping is pristine, the pool is well situated; offering shade and sun, the rooms are beautiful and appointed with anything you could need! Me and my girlfriend is currently staying at Casa Grandview and we've literally just been here for 15 hours. The rooms are amazing, very cozy with a lot of personality and they're super clean. You get everything you need in the room, from a big bed to a nice bathroom with all toiletries you need. The best part so far has been meeting the owners who are super friendly, almost feels like they're relatives that welcome you into their home. The breakfast is something you must attend since they cook everything themselves and it all tastes delicious. Ps. You have to go to breakfast with an empty tummy, because you will be getting A LOT of good breakfast. read more

The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the whole time I was there (two days), I had no TV service. I was told they were "working on it", but it never came back on. don't even know where to begin. This bed and breakfast is magnificent in every way. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The owners, Cheryl and Kirk went over and beyond our expectations to create a peaceful and lovely visit for us. We stayed in the main house in the penthouse room. It lacked absolutely nothing, was comfortable and luxurious. The private restroom had every modern comfort but still maintained the charm of an old home. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations on local activities and restaurants, I'm so glad we listened to her! The breakfast was delicious, and they were happy to accommodate any requests we had. We stayed at Casa Grandview for 6 nights in May and had a wonderful time. Cheryl, in particular, was such a gracious host -- allowing both early and late check-in and even upgraded us to a larger cottage because there was availability (we didn't even ask for this). The location is very convenient near Cityplace and not far from the beach. The grounds are well kept and the fully equipped kitchens were a wonderful addition. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I think some of the cottages could use a little refresh (the furniture in ours was too big for the size of the place) but great value for the money!! Cheryl also went above beyond upon discovering we had left some items behind, by posting them back to us. read more

To give you an idea of how much of a labor of love this is, at Christmastime, Cheryl and her helpers spend two full days decorating the main lodge and all the rooms and outdoor areas. Not only does this include 19 Christmas trees (you'll have your own), but even the light posts in the neighborhood, with lights and bows. Cheryl and Kirk have high standards for hospitality. The suite where I'm staying (South Cottage) has eclectic decor from many decades, and it all somehow works. Much nicer than my house and quite spacious. And special touches abound, like bathrobes and a few snacks and a few drinks in the mini fridge. Manager Yarida ("Jahyda") gives you a helpful orientation, and she did me a huge favor I promised not to share, so I'll just say she's fabulous. They make sure everyone gets just the breakfast they want, and it's all fresh and delicious. I love B&Bs and have been to many; this is definitely one of my favorites. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Palm Beach. read more

It is no surprise that this Bed & Breakfast has consistently received 5 stars. It is fabulous! I am a hotel kinda gal - never stayed in a bed and breakfast before but I am pretty particular about the hotels in which I stay. When my husband suggested we go to a bed and breakfast, I was pouting the entire 1 hour car ride there. However, when we arrived my "frown turned upside down." This wasn't the broken down house that I imagined. The common area was sophisticated yet quaint (ironic, eh?). Our room was more like a one bedroom cottage with everything and anything that we ever thought we wanted ( down to the washer/dryer). We had to force ourselves to leave the room and go out because it was so comfortable and so much to do. I mean it had every movie channel that you could imagine and a PS3 too! Then, the next morning, we had the best breakfast on the best patio with the best server (Kirk, the owner) and the best cook (his wife). What a fabulous experience! They truly have ruined me and gave my husband the opportunity to say that he told me so - this is no ordinary bed and breakfast! read more

This is the second time I have stayed at Casa Grandview. The lovely breakfast starts the day off right, with custom cooking by Kirk, beautifully presented. The rooms have everything you could possibly need from snacks to an umbrella, which came in handy on my last trip..ugh rain! The neighborhood is so close to Breakers, Cityplace, Grato a fab new restaurant and the antique district as well. I will plan to come back and stay again. I love the "Old Florida" feel and the privacy, and the pool area is lovely. Very well maintained and they are gracious hosts. read more

Although the home and people were lovely, I did not realize that there was a termite problem in the main house. And actually found them in my bed and could not believe what I was seeing. It's been a few years since I've stayed there but hoping that they have cleared up the problem. They did not seem to be too concerned when I notified them that my bedding needed to be changed. I'd never actually seen a termite and looked up what I was seeing and sure enough they were in the room.... read more

I enjoyed my 3 day stay. It's a quaint place located in a historical residential neighborhood. I stayed across the street in one of their Art Deco suites. It's a nice space and the bed sleeps exceptionally well. They leave complimentary snacks, soft drinks, and coffee, which is a nice touch. I am very particular so although Casa Grandview is nice there are some things I didn't care for that is out of their control.. Even with the windows closed, the apartment is not well insulated. I heard a 30 minute phone conversation early in the morning of the next door neighbor who was outside talking on her cell phone. The landscapers on Saturday morning on the property and on neighboring properties with their leaf blowers is highly annoying. The freight trains that come through the neighborhood in the early hours blowing their horns is also very annoying. Even the hard sleepers will wake up! Lastly, my place needed a little work. The L shaped cloth white sofa was dirty, old, and stained, and I had a running toilet. I don't know if I could stay there again, but I probably will because everyone that works there is so nice and accommodating. read more
