I came here for my bf's bday and enjoyed the food! The free cheese bread they gave was divine and a great appetizer. The tuna tartare tower was pretty basic, wasn't too special but enjoyable. The cheese fondue was a cheese lover's dream as it was truffle flavored and paired well with the cheese bread (as recommended) Honestly, the crackers provided was alright and they should sub it for something similar to the cheese bread. The star of the show was definitely the picanha as everyone orders. The chimichurri was a nice touch, and the small broccolini was decent, although definitely just for show. The mashed potatoes were nice and creamy! I also got the Brazilian soda which was interesting to try and pretty yummy! Came here for dinner with friends on a Wednesday night. There were only a handful of people in the restaurant. It's very spacious and nicely decorated. There was a DJ and a live Brazilian performer. Music was loud, so it's best to come on a Friday or Saturday night when you're in the mood to kickstart a night out. There are TVs at the bar, and people were there watching the World Cup. I enjoyed most of what I tried. My favorites were the shrimp à la casserole, picanha steak with chimichurri sauce, and branzino. Didn't really care for the tostada or Brussels sprouts. Their Brussels sprouts are pretty much only crispy leaves, instead of the traditional hearty sprouts. The passion fruit cheesecake was very good! Drinks were wel-made. I recommend the passion fruit caipirinha. Service was excellent. I highly recommend John Paul. Street parking is available very close to the restaurant but fills up fast. There is valet at the Biltmore Hotel (connected to the restaurant) for $50 or self parking in the garage for $15 after validation. Restrooms are an area for improvement and did not match the nice atmosphere of the dining space. Overall, this was an elevated restaurant with a fun atmosphere and an eclectic menu. They were really patient with us because we did take a while to decide on what to order since we were all lost in conversation catching up with each other. The appetizers were delicious and were large enough to share between all of us. I hugely recommend the truffle dishes. The fondue was absolutely delicious! We ordered the fish and tomahawk steaks and everything was so good. Be service was attentive and our server Igor was really good about anticipating our needs. Great lunch place for work days. I come here for the picanha steak and the bottomless mimosas, which is 25 with the purchase of any entree. The Brazilian bread is delicious and the hostess and server are friendly and follow up often. I've also gotten the Moca Colada, which is a mocktail. It's really good but a bit too sweet for me to finish the entire drink. The picanha steak is great, although I have heard people being surprised at the layer of fat, even when previously cautioned about it. I personally dont mind it but I know some do. I think this restaurant is more about the ambiance and drinks than the food. The space is cute and fun, and the fire dancer added a cool entertainment element. The drinks were great, and the bartender was fast. We had a party of about 20 people and opted for the set menu. The first dish that came out--the salmon tostada--had very little salmon. On top of that, they brought out one plate with four pieces and expected six people to share it. When we asked about it, the waiter said it would be taken care of, but the second plate that came out was still short. After speaking to (I believe) a manager, they finally brought out more food. I didn't want them to overcompensate or waste food, just to provide reasonable portion sizes for the number of people at each table. After that, though, there was actually too much food, which I'm not complaining about. As for the rest of the meal: the steak and chicken tacos were dry, the steak especially. The corn was good but tasted slightly off. The fish with the green sauce wasn't great either, and the soup thing was just okay. Honestly, the food overall wasn't very good. The best items were the cheese balls and the salmon tostada. Service was good, and the vibe was lively and loud--probably great for a fun date night or group celebration. I decided to give this place another try when it was less crowded since my first visit was very busy. I ordered the truffle fries again, picanha steak, mashed potatoes, rio margarita, Posto Oito cocktail, and S'mores Cookie The complimentary bread is VERY good, they are so addicting, be careful not to fill yourself up with those! The Truffle fries were once again a solid choice, great flavor, good shareable size, and came out hot, I would again recommend to order this. The Picanha steak was very juicy and tender, keep in mind this cut is not a melt in your mouth steak, it is a bit more gamey; however, it was cooked exactly medium rare as I requested which is very hard to do and most places struggle with that. The Chimichurri sauce with the steak was delicious, and asked for more. The mashed potatoes was a good shareable size, it had a nice simple buttery flavor to it and a fluffy consistency. Both Cocktails I ordered were very very good, well worth the price. I feel the drinks are a reasonable price and compare to what most places around charge for a drink. The drinks have a nice presentation, and even better flavor, I would recommend any drink on the menu. The S'mores cookies was AMAZING, it was hot, and had that melt in your mouth, I would highly recommend to order this! Overall, I'm glad I gave this place another shot, the staff were friendly once again, and as I mentioned before, the ambiance is great for both groups or a date, it is very well decorated. They do have a dress code, so read the fine print before you go. We were seated right away, but could not sit in the main part of the restaurant due to a function they were preparing for that night. Our service was a bit underwhelming compared to the reviews I read prior to coming here. Even though the main event had not started yet, everyone was preoccupied with the people who weren't there (preparing drinks, place settings, ...)). instead of focusing on the people who were already there. We also had a new waiter who was timid and needed to be prompted to reside his voice so that he was audible. Our food was just okay. We ordered the main dish (picanha)) and the pork chops. The steak was flavored well, but chewy. It had fat, which I like, but it was so hard it was inedible. As for the pork chop, it was on the drier side. The truffle fondue, avocado crispy rice, scallops, and four-cheese filet mignon with mashed potatoes and street corn were all hits, but the unlimited cheese bread deserves its own shoutout. Wow. At prime time of 7:30pm on a Friday night and the house wasn't full. This should have been a sign to get up and leave. A group of four mama's and we sat in the back corner. To be fair we did ask to sit in the cozy booth but later did not expect that we were not going to get any close up of the dance show. It was a unique show from afar. To be a restaurant in such a hotel as the Biltmore, I would assume nothing less than amazing. The server provided the most bare minimum service as if we were at a fast casual diner but to make matters worse, at the end while paying the bill, he had the audacity to tell us we did not give him any tip in front of all of us!!! Rude much?!? only for my friend to point out, we gave him 20% and showed him (that truly wasn't deserved and was purely because she was generous). I will also add that the manager that came around passing out 15% off cards was a joke- after my friend shared the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely but the mango chicken was trash, he didn't respond with much of anything. We ordered soggy French fries that came with a chipped dish, avocado crispy rice, cucumber salad, the tuna tostada looked as sad as ordering from Taco Bell, and the picanha. Dessert, was the velvet brulee which you'd expect to be similar to creme brulee but it was mush. The presentation of all the dishes was sad. It's apparent that is not in the thought process when looking at all the various dishes, some of which were plastic that looked like it was from IKEA. I didn't even bother going to the restroom but my gf's all said it was also a generic restroom. Needless to say, some restaurants are worth giving grace and another shot as it may be an off day, but this is not the case here especially when it wasn't even full on a Friday and vday weekend. Good luck and perhaps visiting other fine establishments and taking notes would be vital in many improvements necessary. Oh and this is also one of those restaurants that an additional charge will be placed on diners to pay for the staffs benefits. read more

Parking is located on 5th and Grand at the Biltmore Hotel- $35 for valet (validation included) $15 for self park (w/ validation). There is hotel entrance to the restaurant in the lobby (left hand side) downstairs; you will see the door easel. It gives Tulum vibes but not trying hard either. This is Brazilian inspired - same owners as H & H Brazilian Steak House. It is a great open space perfect big parties or small. The ambience is loud but not too loud where you're not able to enjoy a conversation which I could appreciate. The fire dancers were a great touch to the dining experience. We ordered capirinhias- traditional for me and my sister ordered the passion fruit version. We then had truffle fries and Brussels sprouts both tasty. For our main my sister and I shared the three cheese filet mignon with broccolini and a side of mashed potatoes. I enjoyed the meat cooked to a perfect MR. For dessert we had the cookie with marshmallow and I believe caramel drizzle? I highly recommend dining here, I'm shocked it's not packed granted they just opened up in March I believe. Every dish was cold or just about room temperature. Which was very surprising as the restaurant was not busy and food came out fairly quickly. The mashed potatoes were the warmest but only once you got to the middle. We were warned about the enchilada plate being hot, but the food itself was cold. We spoke to management regarding it, and they offered to warm everything up but we declined as we did not just want the food to be throw in a microwave. After declining to rewarm, they offered to remake everything, but we declined as we had already eaten half of the food cold and knew we would not finish the new food they would make. So They decided to bring out 2 of their tacos for us to try at free of charge but the shrimp tacos we received looked very undercooked as one side of the shrimp were pink but the other was still grey. Safe to say we did not eat them. Overall, the place was cute, fire dancer was the best part of the evening. Staff were friendly and so was management and we appreciated their efforts to try to make things right, but the food was a definite let down.
