I don't come to Los Angeles that often anymore but my friend had her birthday dinner here and it was a wonderful experience. They were really patient with us because we did take a while to decide on what to order since we were all lost in conversation catching up with each other. The appetizers were delicious and were large enough to share between all of us. I hugely recommend the truffle dishes. The fondue was absolutely delicious! We ordered the fish and tomahawk steaks and everything was so good. Be service was attentive and our server Igor was really good about anticipating our needs. The dinner also came with a fire dancing performance which was tell cool. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice and romantic with the mood lighting. Valet parking was 17 dollars and there is parking at the hotel too with validation. All in all, worth the trip to LA for a good time with friends and good food.

Great lunch place for work days. I come here for the picanha steak and the bottomless mimosas, which is 25 with the purchase of any entree. The Brazilian bread is delicious and the hostess and server are friendly and follow up often. I've also gotten the Moca Colada, which is a mocktail. It's really good but a bit too sweet for me to finish the entire drink. The picanha steak is great, although I have heard people being surprised at the layer of fat, even when previously cautioned about it. I personally dont mind it but I know some do. If youre looking for a place downtown to have a nicer lunch, come try this place out!

What an amazing find! They have great lunch specials. Pick 2 specialties for $25. They bring you complimentary Brazilian cheese bread which is super delicious and gluten free. Most of their menu is gluten free as well. The portions are just right for lunch especially with the cheese bread. The shrimp stew is like a Thai yellow curry which I am. It complaining about. The service was excellent too. And the place itself is so chill and calm. It's beautiful.

Such a cute vibe! Friendly service and delicious! Will be back for brunch! The fish and chips were delish! They also have a good happy hour menu!

Casa Ipanema has become of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles!! Such a great spot for a date night or girls night out. Their brazilian cheese bread is a must (and unlimited) and the servers will happily provide a refill of them! Their picanha is one of my favorite dishes to order and they just came out with this new raspberry ice cake dessert. It's a must try!

Ipanema has become an annual event for us, since we had drinks and appetizers last May and loved it. This visit, we sat at the bar so we could enjoy the bartender mixing up our delicious caipirinhas. It took us back to Rio, what a great memory! The avocado toast brought us back to CA flavors with a twist, a great fusion. The bar vibe is definitely LA, and a year later feels like a comfortable part of the neighborhood.

I think this restaurant is more about the ambiance and drinks than the food. The space is cute and fun, and the fire dancer added a cool entertainment element. The drinks were great, and the bartender was fast. We had a party of about 20 people and opted for the set menu. The first dish that came out--the salmon tostada--had very little salmon. On top of that, they brought out one plate with four pieces and expected six people to share it. When we asked about it, the waiter said it would be taken care of, but the second plate that came out was still short. After speaking to (I believe) a manager, they finally brought out more food. I didn't want them to overcompensate or waste food, just to provide reasonable portion sizes for the number of people at each table. After that, though, there was actually too much food, which I'm not complaining about. As for the rest of the meal: the steak and chicken tacos were dry, the steak especially. The corn was good but tasted slightly off. The fish with the green sauce wasn't great either, and the soup thing was just okay. Honestly, the food overall wasn't very good. The best items were the cheese balls and the salmon tostada. Service was good, and the vibe was lively and loud--probably great for a fun date night or group celebration. I'd come back for drinks and the atmosphere, but not for the food.

I celebrated a joint birthday with another friend here, and had such a solid meal we left with big smiles on our faces. The venue gives a Tulum vibe, and music was on point. We started with truffle fries, can never go wrong with that. Then we had the Kale Caesar salad, it was fresh and flavorful with enough parmesan and crunch. The picanha was a stand out dish, it was perfectly seared, and tons of flavor, and juicy. The street cord was smokey, creamy and packed with flavor. The moqueca de piece was comforting, nice balance of coconut and herbs. Overall it was a great place to celebrate our birthdays, thanks to the complimentary dessert. Highly recommend to celebrate a birthday here.

I decided to give this place another try when it was less crowded since my first visit was very busy. I ordered the truffle fries again, picanha steak, mashed potatoes, rio margarita, Posto Oito cocktail, and S'mores Cookie The complimentary bread is VERY good, they are so addicting, be careful not to fill yourself up with those! The Truffle fries were once again a solid choice, great flavor, good shareable size, and came out hot, I would again recommend to order this. The Picanha steak was very juicy and tender, keep in mind this cut is not a melt in your mouth steak, it is a bit more gamey; however, it was cooked exactly medium rare as I requested which is very hard to do and most places struggle with that. The Chimichurri sauce with the steak was delicious, and asked for more. The mashed potatoes was a good shareable size, it had a nice simple buttery flavor to it and a fluffy consistency. Both Cocktails I ordered were very very good, well worth the price. I feel the drinks are a reasonable price and compare to what most places around charge for a drink. The drinks have a nice presentation, and even better flavor, I would recommend any drink on the menu. The S'mores cookies was AMAZING, it was hot, and had that melt in your mouth, I would highly recommend to order this! Overall, I'm glad I gave this place another shot, the staff were friendly once again, and as I mentioned before, the ambiance is great for both groups or a date, it is very well decorated. I'm looking forward to trying their brunch!

Drinks and ambience were good . Food was fresh . Management was great and DJ server kind of forgot about us at the end . But still great time

This rating is based on the food taste and prices. $40 for two enchiladas that have chile sauce that tastes like it came from a jar is wild. And thank you for the reheated cheese bread.

Happened to be in the area and was walking past this place. I was intrigued when looking in the window to see a beautiful restaurant/ bar inside. We decided to go in and check it out, and wow we were so glad we did. Had a drink at the bar and 10 minutes later the fire dancer started, which was awesome. My drink was delicious, bar staff were very nice. We definitely will be coming back for brunch. The ambiance of this restaurant gives you a feeling like you are on vacation. Love it.

Came here for an event and was very pleasantly impressed; the interior is pretty and is both lounge-y and like a restaurant, and the service is great. Additionally, food and drinks are fab; the happy hour is long and has plenty of options. Plus, they're pretty affordable. Would definitely be back, oh! And they are great to work with if you're trying to plan an event. Cheapest parking for the evening is actually the self park at the Biltmore; they'll validate and you'll only pay $15. If you self park, head in and then turn left after the lobby; look for the sign on the left and head down the staircase. FYI, there's stairs and no elevators that head that way.

It's not surprising given the neighborhood and decor, but I think they lean towards more Japanese spirits and beers. For someone like me who's never been to Japan I feel like there's a traditional Japanese theme going on inside with lots of wood. A few friends and I came here on a holiday before dinner. Happy hour specials were still going on. I'm not sure if they thought they were gonna get that much business on a holiday but I think there's only maybe one or two people behind the bar. I arrived knowing the difference between a glass and a bottle, but left with a newfound appreciation for the nuances of rum, the craftsmanship behind a smooth whiskey, and the unexpected complexities hidden within a well-made vodka. Each pour came with a story, a history, and a level of expertise that transformed every sip into a lesson. The atmosphere was the perfect anchor for it all--utterly chill and devoid of the frantic, forced energy you find elsewhere. It was the kind of place where the music sits at just the right volume and the lighting invites you to actually linger.
