Got a set of three tacos... one carnitas, one shredded chicken, and one grilled veggies plus 3 fish tacos. Yes, it was 6 pack for me. Lady staff was friendly, nice, and hospitable. Thank you ladies! All tacos were DELICIOUSLY AMAZING! Carnitas were flavorful. Shredded chicken was plentiful. Grilled veggies had great crunch... carrots were amazing! One small gripe, they were tiny tacos... wished they were bigger. Side of salsa for the tacos was perfect in taste... wished it was a full cup and not half. As for the fish tacos, superb at its best! Good size baja fish filet with fresh veggies drizzled with tasty chipotle sauce on a super thin and crispy tortilla. It was so good I had to order 5 more fish tacos to-go. You bet I did. I wanted my daughters to try them. I will return for more fish tacos if nothing else. Btw, guava agua frescas was not the greatest... it was tasteless guava to say the least. Things get busy…read more Good thing I did, because when I called to check on the pickup, they claimed they "couldn't find" my order ticket. Fine mistakes happen. But what happened next was unbelievable. While I was on the phone explaining that I did place the order and had proof, the chef actually said, "Well, anyone could call and say they placed an order." The audacity. Instead of listening, instead of checking, instead of even pretending to care, I was basically accused of making the whole thing up. And here's the kicker: after all that attitude, all that dismissiveness, all that unnecessary back‑and‑forth, the order ticket suddenly appeared. Miraculously. I still picked up the tamales because it was Christmas and I didn't have time for more chaos, but the damage was done. The situation could have been handled with basic respect and professionalism. Instead, it was handled with suspicion and rudeness. We never went back and honestly, that says everything.

I also know that occasionally in the bar they overcharge for cocktails thinking customers will not notice because they've been drinking and bartenders refuse to adjust the check. My husband and I had been eager to try this restaurant, but our visit today left us extremely disappointed. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that something was off. We stood at the podium waiting to be seated, but no one acknowledged us. The tables were dirty, and although there was one available, it was cluttered with items. After what felt like an eternity, a staff member reluctantly cleared the table and gestured for us to sit without a word of welcome. Our disappointment continued as we received burnt chips with no salt, and our drink orders were ignored. To make matters worse, another couple arrived after us and was promptly served while we were left unnoticed. The waitress passed by us multiple times, showing no interest in taking our order or even acknowledging our presence. Ultimately, after enduring this neglect for far too long, we made the decision to leave. This has been one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had, and I'm left wondering how they manage to stay in business. My friend & I started going to Casa Jimenez. Food is good, love their Menudo. The service was good. Until this morning. We went & ask if we could sit at a table, but was told that the table was reserved . We sat at another table. We're waiting for someone to ask us what we wanted to drink. Then another couple arrived & sat down & the server asked them first what they wanted to drink & then came to us & said if we were ready to order? Said we were not asked about drinks. After that the service went downhill. The server said I will bring you more coffee, but never did until I called her. We basically were being ignored. I was disappointed by my visit to Casa Jimenez and I don't think I will be going back. The food was below average and the restaurant felt a bit run-down and left me with a weird feeling. We were the only couple in the restaurant. It felt like a movie scene that takes place in a small town (population 500), with one restaurant, a gas station, and a general store. I should have went with my gut feeling when I pulled up and turned around, but the purple florescent lights on the windows pulled me in like a fly! read more

My family and I only recently discovered this place and we are hooked! I got a double tostada combination without cheese and it was tasty and came quickly, with the shop not all that busy. The only thing I did not like was the dead animals along the walls, that looks stupid but does not adversely impact the good, solid food. Oh: And clean! The place is spotless! read more

You can sit outside or inside depends on your needs. The waitress or waiter comes over after you're gonna breathe to ask what you want. We both ordered over the senior menu to see what they offer. There isn't enough food, just satisfy your hunger without the high cost. If you want a quick meal that is worth what you pay for. This location is for you. We ordered a bean, rice & cheese burrito, a chile relleno burrito, four chicken tacos, and an al pastor torta. Somehow, almost everything managed to disappoint in its own special way. The torta was mostly bread with a rumor of al pastor. Very little meat, very little toppings. Apparently restraint is the house specialty. The bean, rice & cheese burrito had enough beans and cheese to patch drywall but barely any rice. Whoever is building these burritos has absolutely no concept of balance or ratios. The beans were bland, unseasoned and disturbingly viscous. Beans should not have the consistency of diarrhea. There. I said it. The chile relleno burrito was equally forgettable. The chicken tacos were probably the worst part. Dry chicken sitting on dry, stale-tasting tortillas. Nothing fresh about them. It tasted like somebody found yesterday's tacos and decided they deserved another shot at life. Bronco's has never been amazing, but this was impressively bad. The food lacked seasoning, freshness, balance and apparently pride. At this point, save your money. Covina has too much Mexican food around to voluntarily subject yourself to this. Convenience kept us coming back. This meal cured us of that.
