More than the food, it was the service. When we let Felipe know the beans were burned, (you know that burned taste that's in the food after it stays in the pot too long and the cook scrapes it from the bottom of the burned pot), the response we got was, "It's not that burned." Good sir, the point is YOU DO NOT SERVE YOUR GUESTS BURNED FOOD. It doesn't matter what level of burn the food is, if you know the food is burned, don't serve it! Also, calling your guests RUDE for not wanting eat burned food is rude. We appreciate Felipe taking one meal off the bill and we were willing to let things go, but when Felipe started to defend the level of the burned beans, that's where I draw the line. THERE IS NO DEFENDING BURNED FOOD AT A RESTAURANT. Acknowledge the mistake made by the cook, graciously accept the payment made by your client and move on. Giving your client sarcastic remarks because they do not want to pack burned food to go or being rude to clients when they are asking for the check to pay and leave is 100% rude management. That is the reason for my 1-star review. This is one place I will go out of my way to NOT recommend to friends- not only because of the food, but for the rude service as well. read more

Me and my husband stopped off here for a quick breakfast. Unfortunately, it took about 5 minutes for someone to come out and give us menus as we just sat at a table. No one else was in there btw. I ordered the bean and cheese burrito and wanted to sub rice for the beans, and added guacamole. When my burrito came out, I asked if I could have green sauce instead of the red sauce that they put on our table for chips. He said fine brought it out in a small dish. I also had one tiny scoop of guacamole. It didn't even cover half of the burrito. After I paid the bill I looked and saw that I was charged for rice, I was charged for an 8 ounce side of green salsa, And the guacamole was two dollars for that little tiny scoop. Not sure why I'm being charged for rice when I didn't want beans, and not sure why they charged me for salsa and didn't tell me because I wouldn't have ordered it as I didn't even eat it. It was like water and not 8oz. I mean the mimosas were only eight dollars and that was decent, but I definitely won't be back for the nickel and diming that they did. read more

Hola! Very friendly staff and great service. We went to another restaurant that was so crowded we decided to try something that we hadn't tried. So glad we did! I maybe making this restaurant my number Uno for my Mexican Fix! I had the Menudo and hubby as the Chorizo and eggs. Yummy Although I had all meat in my Menudo the meat is melt in your mouth delish! Delicious Mexican food. There's another location a few miles away but prefer this ambience and layout. Not sure on the authenticity of the food but my go-to items are: liver and onions (cooked like a flat iron steak with two large pieces and borderline fried onion - so good!), hard shell beef tacos for the nice crunch with fresh toppings, carnitas tacos (simple and jam packed with meat), soup of the day as a starter, chili relleno (low carb alternative to the enchiladas). They normally provide chips and salsa. Their salsa is liquidy (I'm allow to make up words, right?) yet slightly thick with good flavor. I usually like ordering chicken (as a healthier protein option) but find that their chicken is dry and bland. Tried their rolled tacos, those seem dry as well. Multiple TVs if you want to watch a big game. Full bar with Happy Hours 3-7 (I think). An all you can eat menu (that's why I've tried so much of their menu already and only have been here about three times). Can't miss the location. It's literally on the corner and has a glorious meat smell that wafts the air. Shares a plaza parking lot that seems to not get too busy. Restrooms are in order. Staff is friendly. Sometimes you'll even have the owner present. Highly recommend. Only reason for the lack of a star is that they don't have any ghetto protein options like lengua, cabeza, stomach, etc. read more

I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised with everything about this place. The service, the food, the overall quality, and the value for cost were all above average. I personally went with the All You Can Eat Menu that currently has at least 15 different menu items for $15.95; that is hands down one of the best reasons to try this place out. Taco Tuesday promotion's are meant to bring in customers and we gave it a try. The tacos were good but the service was mediocre, the restaurant was way too hot and the Latino music was way too loud. At the very least they could have brought us chips and salsa and that didn't even happen. Hell we had to ask for napkins and silverware lord knows I'm not begging for chips and salsa. So in a nutshell if you like good tacos, want to perspire while eating, have your ear drums blown out and ask for everything this is the spot for you! read more

I'm kind of disappointeKindd lately & I don't think I will be returning due to their dishonesty. They mark up the prices subtly on each item before checking out in hopes you don't notice I guess. The tacos are good, but were told they were 2.25 for taco Tuesday & the taco salad was $14. Get the bill and they marked up the tacos .50cents & the salad was suddenly $15. This place has fallen considerably far from what it used to be. I don't know if there is new management or ownership but the vibe is completely different. The host/server attempted to sit us back to back with another full table in an entirely empty restaurant, when we politely asked to choose the next table over we got an eye roll and scoffed at. Be careful if THEY make a bad drink because there is a "no return" policy on alcoholic beverages. Meat quality was poor and overall just not the same experience it used to be. Love, love, love this place. We always get great service and yummy food. The servers are friendly, quick, and know how to multitask. I always get the Mojarra (whole fish) fried and it never disappoints. We really like their "aguachile", fish tacos and shrimp tacos. It's my local go to for Mexican seafood. I've been here multiple times even before when it was Los Cabos, it's now under new management. The food got even better if that was possible. My ultimate favorite test is try the enchiladas wherever I go, if their gross I won't return. The enchiladas here are delicious they make the red Chile sauce in house like homemade enchilada sauce and they use white meat chicken ( my favorite). The machaca plate is sooooo good and the portions are huge ( big enough to split). They also have taco Tuesday soft/crunchy tacos available... I believe their $1.79 but trust me their totally worth it, fat and flavorful tacos. The carne asada burrito a la carte is only $6.49 and its huge compared to taco shops around here. They do add rice and beans to the burrito, something to keep I mind in case you don't like it that way. Free fresh warm chips & salsa when dining in.
