This is my favorite breakfast burrito spot with their Crazy Burrito, so had to try out another for lunch. I asked what burritos were the best, the young lady at the counter told me her favorite was the Bandido Burrito, but the most popular is the surf and turf. So I went with the people's choice today and did not regret it. Salsa bar is still a star supporting role here and I got a little of everything to try with this shrimp and carne asada burrito. Size wise it was on par with expectations, lightly toasted tortilla and on the cut the shrimp were immediately star of the show. Simply prepared but fresh tasting, no lingering fishiness and the flavor was concentrated to the bites that included shrimp, which is nice, because you can vary the flavor between bites. The rice was balanced and the sour cream and guacamole blended well for a nice contrast to my edition of spicier salsas (the creamy green salsa has a great kick). Overall this surf and turf is better than most local places in my opinion. Simple flavors done well can out perform many that try to do too much. Scoring the burrito I'd give it a 4.6, definitely something you have to be in the mood for, but this place impresses again.

5/19/24. Five Rolled Tacos ($7.99): fried to a crisp with a good amount of beef and plenty of cheese, 4/5 stars.

I've called and ordered for takeout, as a friend recommended this joint. It turns out that the food was a hit or miss. 5/19/24. Five Rolled Tacos ($7.99): fried to a crisp with a good amount of beef and plenty of cheese, 4/5 stars. Five Mini Tacos ($10.99 + $1.90): somewhat bland, and cost extra for guacamole, 2.5/5 stars. Bag of Chips ($3.25): standard chips and salsa, 3/5 stars. The hot carrots and salsa are free at the salsa bar. I'd come back for the rolled tacos and maybe try a burrito.

Good eats here, everything is cooked fresh to order and delicious. Clean inside, selection of hot sauces, friendly staff.

Good service good food. We had the carne asada tacos and the meat was overall good quality not too many fatty or nerve pieces. The tortillas were the big size ones which made the tacos filling. They have a variety of salsas a bit watery for my taste but overall good. My main issue was that there was no free chips and salsa which I expect from a Mexican restaurant.

The food here is decent. It's not the best and it's not the worst. I don't care for the taste of their corn tortillas though. Service is great and the ambience is fine. It's a little small inside but nice. They have a salsa bar, a TV and clean restrooms. Food is always hot and served in a timely manner. It's a little more expensive than similar Mexican spots. I prefer MSR on Cal Oaks over this place.

Many options to choose from I was overwhelmed, but I was very pleased with my order. They have large portions and enough for two meals. I also ordered a side of chips and salsa. Very delicious. I wasn't sure what I wanted and the clerk was patient and good. Inside restaurant was clean.

I was passing thru Murrieta and found Odalberto's. Located in a strip mall so parking is easy. The menu is extensive and it was difficult to choose what to order. I wanted to try the rolled tacos, but I decided on the chilaquiles instead. The cashier was friendly and the food came out quickly. Portions were generous and It all tasted very good. The chilaquiles had a nice kick w/ the red sauce. There was a constant flow of customers eating in and taking out. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town to try some of their rolled tacos or street tacos.

This place is the bomb! Food is made by the owner himself. I can taste the love in the food! Made sure to try it several times before giving this review. Had many different dishes. Great big portions and the staff were kind! Being kind to people and them being kind back goes a long way! Whenever I'm back in the area I'll be stopping by here!!

Only an hour back from business trip to Japan and I couldn't resist the temptation of getting my Carnitas Nachos! Highly recommend. Great people!

Very very friendly young lady at the front. She walked us through most of the menu, as it was our first time. There is lots of parking in the strip mall. The food is overpriced, and I felt the quality of the food was not worth it.

This place opens early (7am) and has a salsa bar. That's my new thing. If a taco shop has a salsa bar (especially if they've brought it back after covid), it goes to the top of my list. I came for breakfast and loved my meal. For $10, the container of Mexicana eggs, rice, beans and guacamole was full and heavy. All of it was delicious. Also, because they sell sides of rice and beans at a reasonable price, I got an order of each to enjoy later. Salsas were good! Looking forward to returning to try more items.

Hot new spot!! Woot woot!! Located on Madison & Murrieta Hot Springs road, opposite corner of Walmart (behind Arby's). The place is really clean and the staff is very nice. Shy..... but nice!! Today is our 3rd time here. I wanted to try their taco Tuesday, hard shell tacos choice of beef, chicken or potato: buy one get one free. Pretty good!! Come over here for their taco Tuesday!!! I got shredded beef and potato tacos. Pretty good size (actually bigger than Albertos shredded beef tacos)!! Carne asada burrito was a little small, but still good. Meat is fresh and so is the pico and guacamole. I also ordered 3 beef flautas... comes w sour cream, guacamole, lettuce and cheese but i got it without lettuce. That was really good too!!! Our favorite item here is the super nachos w carne asada. Unlike Los Jilbertos, Odalbertos is not cheap w their toppings, which i seriously appreciate!!! They put a very good amount of toppings!! I really love how the guacamole is NOT watered down and really fresh. It's really good!!! Idk why there's not a lot of people coming here bc the food is quality and specials are decently priced... and yes, i get that there's like 5 other taco shops within a half mile range, but this tacos shop is worth trying out. I really want to try their soups... maybe on the weekend I'll try their soups out. I've yet to tey their soups!! Will be coming back to try other items. This is actually my favorite taco shop out of the 6 close to each other. PLEASE give them a try and support local businesses!!!

The breakfast burrito wasn't bad but the salsa could use some help. It was too watered down and not enough kick to it.

You could tell it had been simmered properly; every spoonful had layers of flavor instead of just spice. The meat was tender and plentiful, the hominy cooked just right, and the fresh cabbage, onion, cilantro, and lime brought everything together perfectly. Adding the salsas took it from great to unforgettable--each one added its own kick without overpowering the soup. This is the kind of pozole that warms you up, fills you up, and makes you slow down because you don't want it to end. Simple, authentic, and done right. I'd come back for this alone.

Hubby always has nachos- so of course he had the carnitas nachos. I had a pollo tostada and a carnitas sope. Conclusion: nice, clean fast casual restaurant, lovely people and fresh tasting food. Nachos were served in a huge mound with big pieces of juicy pork, beans, cheese and guacamole. My pollo tostada was lightly fried and packed with lots of chicken, lettuce, tomato and cheese and the sope had the same accompaniments and juicy pork. I think I preferred the tostada over the sope ( because of the base) but that's my personal preference. Will definitely add this little shop in to our taco rotation!!

I asked what breakfast burrito is the best or her favorite and took her up on the recommendation of the Machaca Breakfast Burrito. Choosing to dine in I was offered chips and salsa and asked for salsa preference. No salsa bar here which was fine, I chose spicy and got a roasted red salsa and creamy green salsa. Red had more kick but the green had such a nice bright flavor. I'm sure there are more options but it was nice to trust the service to pick. Now for the burrito, the star of the show, Machaca is only 50 cents more than the bacon, coming in at around $14 which is about average around here. The size was great and a nice weight. Cutting it open there was a great mix of all the ingredients. Potatoes were a small dice and seasoned with the same spice they sprinkle on their chips I think. Fajita style onions and peppers with a generous amount of juicy Machaca, laced with perfectly melted cheese. I think there may have been some refried beans in there too since I asked for everything they recommend. If there was they were so nicely blended they didn't dominate a single bite and may have performed more as a binder. 5 stars for Location and staff were both great as it's not hard to get to off Ynez by the dealerships. It's the kind of place locals know of and tell people they got their perfect spot. Blown away by how friendly the staff is, in the morning, while taking deliveries. The Machaca Breakfast Burrito is a solid 4.9/5, would definitely order again after I try some of the others because this place is definitely going on the short list of go-to spots. They have quesaberria tacos that look awesome.

We ended up ordering a Machaca burrito and a fish burrito. They offered house made chips and salsa as complimentary items. These burritos were served so hot and fresh the steam was seeping through. The machaca was delicious and I loved the spice from the fresh cut jalapenos. My wife and I ended up eating 1/2 of our burritos and took the rest to go.
