What a lovely authentic Mexican restaurant. Tucked away in a little alley right after the tea shop. Easy to miss, so keep an eye. They've got some outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. Love the ambiance, the hospitality, and the food. Make sure to get their guac. We got a shareable mixed platter (I forgot what it's called) but it comes with a cheese/chorizo sauce with 3 types of protein. Least favorite for us on the table was the chicken. Flavorful but just different. We enjoyed the carne asada and shrimp the most.

We came to eat here during our day trip to Poulsbo; we skipped all the bar/fishhouse and decided to came here instead. Its a really cool restaurant that hidden from the main street; and you have to walk down the alleyway which they have their outdoor seating area. They decorated the alley way; making it really nice; even the passerby were taking pictures. Service was good; staff were super friendly and the foods we got was really good. This was very much a good mexican restaurant we have been to in a few months. Was expecting it to be an ok restaurant for the fact that its in a tourisy area; but it exceeded our expectation. What we got: Carne asada platter (4.5/5) Really good; great portion and very well seasoned. Spanish rice was AMAZING; it was realy realy flavorfull. Came with a guac, pico and roasted jalapeno which is a must. Ask without bean and it ended up to be the perfect portion for our appetite. Camarones a la diabla (4.5/5) Great great dish; spicy but flavorful. It got all the right flavor combo. And again; the spanich rice were amazing. Hibiscus Margarita (4/5) Great margarita; even BETTER drinking it after eating the camarones a la diabla; i felt like it was the perfect pair. Over the self margarita (4/5) Wife likes it. A good strong margarita. They also gave us chip and salsa The dishes were suppose to come with bean and trotillas; but we declined them as we doubt we will eat them and just be a waste since were not super hungry. But we finish both dishes because it was that good. We recommend to anyone that visiting the area and skip the usual fish houses and come here instead. Its worth the try.

Hole in the wall, friendly staff, quick service, reasonable prices..salsa was really good right amount of spice. My favorite was the consome for the birria. I thought mexican pizza was actually pizza not quesadilla with birria lol. They were able to accommodate a party of 6 with kids.

We ate lunch fajitas here and really enjoyed the flavors and service! The portion size was a little small for the price, but very tasty! The sides for the fajitas were delicious but small. This is the only reason it's not 5 star- price and portion sizes. The salsa was delicious and they shared a spicier mango habanera sauce with us,which we liked too. We love our salsa and were charged an extra $2 for salsa. This seems a bit unusual, The atmosphere is fun and colorful. Would recommend this place and their food.

My wife and I had been talking about trying Casa Luna for a while and finally did on June 12th. It was great food!!!! The service was awesome and the ladies working there were very nice. It might be tucked back off the street, but it was a great experience and we will be coming back.

My husband and I came here for a nice date night and we're not disappointed! We got seated right away, we adored the decor and atmosphere, and our food came out so quickly! It was so delicious, we loved the salsa. I ordered the carne asada tacos and my husband ordered the chicken enchiladas- so yummy! The ladies room was nice and clean. All in all we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

3 star for food. Things were good, but much of tge main portions of a given plate were incredibly salty. The virgin mojito tasted like it was made with country time lemonade. Not very good. But 5 stars for the ambience.

Such a great find! Drinks and food well worth the drive to Poulsbo Wa. Enjoyed eating outside. Great recommendations from dishes from the staff.

    Chili Verde!!

Ambiance was very nice when sitting at a table in the alley entrance. Food was best chili verde I've had in a long time. Horchata was delicious and refreshing. Service was friendly, helpful and professional. We'll be back.

    Special tacos- excellent!

Our second visit, and just as good as the first. Tried the special tacos(excellent) and my wife had the flautas. Service was excellent as always, and the ambiance is perfect.

    We ate every bite!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner- loved my shrimp spinach enchiladas. Nice warm chips and tasty salsa. Service excellent- lovely ambience with nice decor and lighting. Will definitely return!

The service was great. You could tell food was made fresh. They had a mini vegetarian menu which i appreciated and I loved what I got (green Verde enchilada). My daughter loved the cheese quesadilla. My husband liked the flavor of the chicken mole which also came with 2 tortilla. The decor was very nice!

Terrible food. Awful Salsa. Tragic Service. One Star for Ambiance I guess ? Sadly, we will never eat here again.

The ambiance is attractive and we were immediately greeted and seated upon our arrival. There is a private lot. I started with an exotic drink with mezcal and fresh blackberries since this is blackberry country. I forget the name but it is on the picture. It was delicious. The wife had Passion Fruit and it was also delicious. For entrees, the wife had chicken mole and did not care for it. The chicken was bone-in which is normally fine, but she did not care for this chicken. The mole was very spicy. There is a difference between flavorful with a kick or slow burn, but this was overtly spicy. She did not eat much and did not take it home. I had an exotic dish which I don't remember the name but it was essentially a chicken stew served in mortar bowl. Rice and black beans came on the side, but I added them to the stew to make it thicker. It was delicious. Very flavorful with a slow burn. If the review were based on this dish alone, it would be 5 stars. Our server was attentive and helpful. I liked the vibe and food more than the wife did, We are in Poulsbo only a couple of days so we probably won't return, but if we were here longer I would lobby for a return.

The restaurant itself is pretty interesting inside with graffiti type art on the walls and bright vibrant booths. I ordered 6 street tacos, 2 chicken, 2 chorizo, and two ground beef. All were incredibly delicious. I had the habanero hot sauce (which is a 4 out of 5 for them) on all proteins. Its SUPER good. Just the right amount of heat for me, but probably not for folks who are sensitive to hot foods. Had the Chile de Arbol on the chicken, and it went really nicely with that. Last I put some Chipotle on a ground beef taco, and while it wasn't my favorite, it still added a nice smokey flavor and mild spice. Overall, a very positive experience and a place I will certainly be back to!

I asked to place an order to go and the guy went in the back and asked whoever was there and came back and said no. His reason was because it was a slow day and "didn't feel like making more food". Never experienced anything like this before. You want great tacos and birria? Go to Jessicas Taqueria in Silverdale. Her business hours are legitimate and won't refuse service because of laziness. My husband and I came here last evening craving for some tacos. Growing up in the bay area in Cali, tacos are a huge hit and I can definitely say a small place like this in Washington really did their thing. Tacos were good. The birria tacos were okay but definitely were a little dry and definitely could've had more meat and cheese. The consomme was very bland so dipping the birria tacos in it didn't really make the tacos taste any better. Burrito was okay however, it was very flat. Flavor was definitely there and was really tasty. I just wish there were more ingredients added. Honestly it felt like I was eating a quesadilla rather than a burrito. My husband had cocktail which he liked very much and I had horchata. Horchata was good but a tad bit grainy. Our server was very nice! Service definitely was great. We were served our food very fast and even then the food was HOT! This spot is very compact and intimate. Would not recommend for larger parties 4+. All in all tacos were the star of the show. Would return just for the tacos only and horchata.

I know it sounds silly to say that chips can stand out, but the chips here have so much seasoning on them, and are always fresh. Individuals behind me were taken first because they had to go orders. The menu does not reflect actual food prices. The rice and beans is shown as $7.25 but they charge $7.30. The chips and salsa show up as 4.13 but are charged as $4.25. There is a taco plate (which is what I ordered) on the menu for $12.43, but the very official printer paper taped in front of the register shows $12.99 (which is the actual charge). The menus are on tvs, so I wouldnt imagine it would be that difficult to update. The amounts aren't substantially different, but it's a little deceptive. It took 11 minutes for my order to be ready, which is pretty fast given the amount of customers they had. The rice and beans tasted like they came from the same supplier as many other. restaurants, they're fine but unremarkable. The chips were pretty tasty, but the salsa seemed quite watery. The tacos themselves were ok. Nothing special. The chicken tasted like it hadn't been seasoned at all. The red sauce for the tacos had zero spice. The habanero sauce tasted almost the same as the red sauce. The most spicy thing that came with the tacos was the grilled jalapeño, but that and the grilled onions just seemed weird and out of place. Think I will find a new taco place when I visit Poulsbo.
