Came here with my dad looking to try a new Mexican spot. The ambiance was truly nice, it was well decorated and had great lighting. Right as we sat down, the waitress gave us chips and salsa while we had a look at the menu. We ordered the Caldo de camaron and mixed fajitas. The food came out 10 minutes apart from each other and our waitress forgot to give us the tortillas twice (she helped out 2 other tables before coming back to us with them). Also, our soup came with fish not shrimp initially so we had to go back and ask the kitchen to fix that. The food was great though. The caldo tasted rich and the fajita veggies were nicely done. My only qualm is that the shrimp in the caldo was pretty overcooked and the chicken in the fajitas was very overcooked and dry. The bill came out to around 60 dollars for everything. If I was to come back, I'd stick to the shrimp fajitas as those were really well flavored.

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Came here for late lunch one Saturday afternoon. This place was a Falafel place before this restaurant took over. Not too big inside. Maybe 10 tables at the most. The restaurant was clean, well lit, welcomed by a friendly cashier/server. We ordered Bacon wrapped Shrimp plate and Tao plates. Both were delish and good portion. Felt the price was a bit higher than other Mexican place so I deducted one star; however we will definitely come back as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food at Luna Del Mar. Everything tasted delicious and cooked perfectly - I really enjoyed the fish on the salad , the fajitas were flavorful. Service was great. The restaurant was cute.

Fish taco

The food here taste awesome (one of the best fish tacos in the area). The price is higher than others though. The service is slower than expected (took about 30min to get our order). The ambient environment is very nice and the owner has good taste. Parking is outside on street but manageable.

This popped up in the old falafel place. We decided to give this new restaurant a try on a weekday for dinner. Place was completely empty when we walked in. It's small but they filled it up with a lot of artificial plants because of which it was very colorful. Menu had a lot of seafood options and we were intrigued so we got an order of fish soup in addition to some chicken tacos and chicken fajitas. What worked- The fish soup is AMAZING! It had large veggie chunks like potatoes, carrots etc, the fish chunks were large as well but the broth still felt light while being flavor packed. The fish was delicately cooked without any weird fishy smell. They provided toppings like hot salsa, diced onions, lemon wedges and cilantro on the side which amped up the soup. I highly recommend getting this. We could hear them cooking in the kitchen, they took their time with it and when the food came it all looked and tasted extremely fresh and prepared with a lot of care. What did not work- The dishes felt westernized compared to the plethora of other Mexican restaurants and food trucks in the area. For example the veggies in the fajita did not have their characteristic char. Beans were replaced by a salad in the fajita dish. The service is extremely slow, almost at a snails pace. Though we were the only ones in the restaurant it took almost 20 mins to get our first dish.

Great food and amazing service in a nice, clean environment! We had the shrimp in sour cream and it was delicious! Great service from the owner and the cashier! Stop by and try it! You will be amazed!

The food was really good we got the 7 mares soup, empanizado shrimp & the campechana. The 7 mares soup was delicious it didn't need lime or any thing . The empanizado shrimp was super tasty and crispy not soggy at all . The campechana had big shrimp and had a lot of flavor . Honestly I'm glad I stopped by. I was craving seafood and I didn't know what to get because the menu had a great variety of seafood. I can't wait to come back and try some other stuff.

Calamare snack! Tender calamari, well seasoned with a delightful crispy breading, complete with carrots and celery (a lovely surprise!)

Clean, festive, and incredibly delicious! I tried the calimari the first time, a quick stop, and was impressed with the clean, lovely restaurant, the service, and the incredibly perfect appetizer. With a little more time today, I decided to try the dine-in experience... even better! The chips and delicious house salsa are accompanied by a generous portion of lime... trust me, a few drops of lime unified and elevated this simple appetizer. Care was obviously taken when choosing this combination, and the chips were hearty and flavorful; possibly stone-ground? The shrimp are fresh, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with decadent flavor. Add the excellent produce and incredible sauce and you have a can't miss experience... the lowly shrimp is elevated to VIP status here, carefully prepared and paired with incredible fresh produce carefully prepared. Hands down the best tacos camerones I have ever had. Run, don't walk, to try this cozy, beloved restaurant just off Saratoga. You will thank me, I promise you!

Only a few really tiny bits of avocado were in my salad, and my friend had the same complaint. Pruneyard parking is always a pain, but Pacific Catch is at a good location at the end of the building, so it's pretty close to parking if you can find a spot. The restaurant itself is light and airy, with a few outside tables. A pleasant atmosphere. The service was good and our waiter was attentive. For instance, even though the menu stated that it offered happy hour on the weekend, the waiter, said no, there's definitely no happy hour today and we were there at 3pm. (Online it shows that happy hour is indeed offered on the weekdays and weekends, I should mention.) I feel like he should've at least walked over and confirmed with his manager because the manager was there onsite. There was also no price listed for the Pacific Caesar salad. So the server finally got back to me with the price. My friend said that she had just gotten it with chicken. The server said that adding chicken or salmon would be $8 for either one. However, also incorrect! Online it shows that chicken is only $6. (hello, fish is always more expensive, especially salmon.) I didn't trust what he said, so I decided to skip that dish. My friend had said it was really good too. Oh well. I also didn't appreciate how when I went to pay the 22% was also marked as a default tip, so I would assume he ticked that. This is the first time that I've had service that has been subpar. Almost every other time the servers have been outstanding. I felt like the waiter should've double checked a few things have not been lazy about it. A few months ago, my friend and I also went and they had a different menu. It was three for $16 or something. He also said he didn't have that today either. And he claimed there was no such menu. So maybe they got rid of it. However, it is still listed online? My friend had got the tacos before and she loved those so I'm posting that picture here as well but this was the prior visit in the spring.

The restaurant is located in downtown Campbell and there's plenty of street and garage parking. The restaurant itself had very simple, clean, and modern feel and was very intimate. The menu changes daily based on what's available, and we had the choice to do family sharing style ($125/person) or al la carte. Since the menu wasn't super extensive, we decided to give family style a try so we didn't have to think about what to order and how much to order. The family sharing style came with 4 raw dishes, 4 starter/appetizer dishes, 3 main dishes, and 1 dessert. For our raw dishes round, I really enjoyed the salmon (with some type of chili oil), and the scallops with Chinese sausage. For the appetizer round, I really enjoyed the clam (although a bit small) and the potato chip with caviar (very creamy and flavorful). As for the main, I really enjoyed the cornbread although would say the ikura gets a bit covered up by the creamy sauce (although still incredibly delicious). We also got a short rib but I found it to be a bit heavy in the sauce and on the saltier side. The dessert was a chocolate peanut bar that felt like a very elevated snickers bar. Overall, food is pretty good even though on the pricier side and the service is excellent. This is definitely more of a special occasion kind of restaurant!

For seafood boil sauce, we opted for the cajun instead of lemon pepper. I wasn't sure if I would finish everything, but it was INHALED. I really like the seafood quality here, but sauce-wise, I prefer Cajun Bistro for the garlic butter sauce. Cap't Loui does not offer that sauce, but it was still delicious overall. Service is timely and our food came fast, so thats a big plus. Only complaint I have here is that I wish there was more sauce in the bowl. The bowl had too much food, so I couldn't dip or soak my seafood in the flavor.
