I went here for the first time last night. The space is open and airy. We were sat quickly. Menu looked so good. It was hard to order. I got the queso sand quesadillas. Delicious!! The food was brought to our table very quickly. Our server could not have been nicer. This is a great neighborhood spot. Will be back with friends!!

Kids meal- ham and cheese burrito. Very small portion. I'd give a 3 out of 10

Packed on a Sunday, the salsa is not really for me a tad too much lime and not much heat/ peppers. I judge a Tex mex by their salsa/ bean dip. Tried the tortilla soup sin chicken and it was nice and cheesy, they give you a whole half of an avocado which won them the 4 stars here. Service is great .

    Coconut flan creamy and delicious

Mole sauce is some of the best you will find in a restaurant. The have a full bar and are building a patio for summer.

Not the cheapest around but very good food and very nice people. Try the mole or one of their fine egg dishes (migas!).

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

We have been to some nicer hole-in-the-wall restaurants, that we liked better, and felt more at home. The conference room chairs are uncomfortable, along with the flat decor with loud colors. I ordered the nachos with carne asada. They came on a huge platter with dollops of guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo in the middle. They use the same cheese as the queso in a bowl so it's more fluid which I LOVED! The carne asada was diced small and cooked to perfection...crispy outside and tender inside with not a bit of fat or gristle. They were so good I couldn't stop! I planned on taking half with me but ended up eating practically the whole platter. Their iced tea is freshly brewed and is also delicious. I'll be back soon to try some of their other dishes.
