Started off with some chips and salsa.

The food was good and the horchata is made in house. I ordered the steak and grilled shrimp. Prices are reasonable, service was amazing. My waitress Janelie provided great customer service.

How a food served in a sauce and with added salsa can be both dry and flavorless is beyond me. If not for being in Lodi this place would be out of business. Locals like low taste and low spice foods. Very bland. Very sad.

My goodness, I experienced the best of the best meals today. I ordered the chili verde burrito supreme lunch special. It was just perfect. It's been along time since I've been able to say that about a meal I ordered. The meat had a great flavor and was tender, like it had been slow cooked all day in a crockpot type of tender. The green sauce was flavorful and to my surprise it wasn't too spicy. I have such a sensitive mouth I always order a side of sour cream to have ready to eat by the spoonful if I accidentally eat something spicy. Today I actually was able to enjoy sour cream on my food the way it's meant to be. The way they prepare their rice and beans has always been a favorite for me. I have to admit, I actually come here for the homemade tortillas. They're huge and taste the best ever!!

The people seemed to ok but something was off Salsa was bland. Not a hint of Mexican but Chips were Ok but the salsa The Big Open Spacious Restaurant with No Ambiance was COLD. I believe we used to come here but something changed NEVER AGAIN

Spacious seating, and a bar and dinning area in the back for larger events.

The Chile Relleno at this restaurant is to die for, you won't leave one little piece on your plate. The fresh peppers and onions mix so well with their home made sauce. The homemade tortillas are giant and so fresh. The Chile verde is also very fresh and delicious. Highly recommend for authentic Mexican food.

Gave this a try after having some bad Mexican food at Don Luis. I had the camarones ala diabla with homemade tortillas. Very good. My wife had a chile rellano. That was also good. I had Modelo served very cold with a lime and my wife had a blended Margarita . Chips and salsa just so so. Glad we tried this place.

Food: they have a vast variety of seafood plates and options. The mariscos/seafood tastes fresh and they are open to work with you for special request on your plate of choice. Location: there is plenty of parking space. The place is kind of small in my opinion, it get crowded over the weekend. My recommendation is for you to get there early. Ambiance: the music was loud, therefor be aware of possible complications to have a nice conversation without feeling that you gotta turn up your voice volume. The place could benefit from a little extra cleanliness, I understand it's a seafood place although it does give a sense of needing extra cleanliness. Team/staff: they are were attentive and ready to assist when needed. We had a little complication since two of our family members did not get their place fast, three of us had our plate ready and the other 2 waited a good 10 extra minutes. Maybe more organization over how to distribute table tables as a group. Nice experience and they also have alcoholic drinks which seem tasty and fresh. Their aguas frescas were delicious and super refreshing. Highly recommend visiting them ASAP! :)

The lady that assisted me seemed hesitant to offer me the booth but we didn't want to wait too long and we were able to squeeze ourselves in the booth. I had the ceviche (cazuela). It tasted good but not as good as the ceviche they give you when you arrive so you can snack while you wait for your food. My family members had clams, momias, aguachile, and fajitas. They said their food was fine. Surprisingly, out of all the meals we ordered the ceviches took the longest to get to us. We were seated when the soccer game started and my mom and I got our ceviches close to the halftime, that would be about 40 minutes waiting. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the time it took to get the food. Plus, when my dad tried to ask one of the waitresses for assistance she pretty much ignored him. I dont come here very often because it is far for me. Despite the time it took to get our food I would still visit if im in the area again. Just need to make sure it is not on a holiday.

Good day, Yelpies!…read more As someone who has spent years chasing authentic Asian cuisine, I'm always amazed when an unassuming spot completely exceeds expectations -- and this Vietnamese gem did exactly that. From the outside, tucked into a humble strip mall, you'd never guess the culinary experience waiting inside. But the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by the intoxicating aroma of simmering broth and fresh herbs -- what I can only describe as "Pho cologne." Honestly, if someone bottled that fragrance, I'd wear it daily. Yes, the menu offers the traditional Vietnamese favorites you'd expect, but every dish arrives piping hot, deeply comforting, and bursting with authentic flavor. The pho is rich and aromatic, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and each bite feels thoughtfully prepared. What truly elevates this restaurant, however, is the hospitality. The staff operates with a level of attentiveness that is becoming rare these days. Drinks are constantly refilled, every table is checked on with genuine care, and you can feel the pride they take in both the food and the dining experience. Even better, the restaurant is spotless and welcoming -- the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Some of the best Vietnamese food is found in places exactly like this, where the focus is entirely on flavor, warmth, and authentic hospitality.

The food was delicious! And service was perfect! Kristen and Emily was so attentive and gave us such great customer service! At initial sit down.. we was greeted with a bowl of flat bread and our drink order was taken. The flat bread was warm soft and so good we asked for seconds lol. We ordered the grilled artichoke..the char grilled taste was great and the dip was delicious! We shared the salad special today, which was a pear salad that came with raspberry and blue cheese. Everything went well together it was refreshing. And for our entree we shared the mushroom ravioli and the pork tenderloin medallions. The pork tenderloin medallions came with green beans and mash potatoes. Everything was chefs kiss! My favorite was the mushroom raviolis.. it was so flavorful and mushroom-e if that's even a word but you know what I mean. So good! My other friend ordered the seafood pasta and said that was also very good. The dessert presentation was perfect! You get to see their dessert menu in 3D! A tray of deliciousness.. Literally the dessert itself! We shared the chocolate mousse and was not disappointed! It was light and chocolatey all at the same time! Stumbled upon this place... but now a fan.. I genuinely love this restaurant, which makes my last few visits especially disappointing…read more On my most recent visit, I ordered the beef brochette--Angus steak chunks served with pasta and mixed vegetables. The food itself was very flavorful, so taste was not the issue. Unfortunately, the temperature was. The steak was barely warm, and both sides were completely cold. My dining companion and I were starving and on a limited schedule, so we did not want to spend additional time trying to flag someone down and waiting for the food to be reheated. Instead, we waited--and waited--for our server to return so we could ask for boxes. We ultimately took the food home to reheat and eat later, which is obviously not the experience you expect when dining at a restaurant. That brings me to the service, which has also declined over my last several visits. Our server never checked in after the food was delivered. Had she stopped by shortly after we began eating, we could have addressed the temperature issue and possibly had enough time to enjoy the meal properly. Instead, she was nowhere to be found until the end. I am not sure whether the food is sitting too long before being picked up or if the kitchen is not monitoring temperatures properly, but something needs to be corrected. Servers should also check on their tables at least once during the meal--not only return at the end when it is time to bring the check and collect a tip. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously because I know this restaurant is capable of providing a much better experience.

It's contemporary and the furnishings are quite comfortable. It's the type of place you can settle in and have a casual meal without feeling rushed. Prices are high yet the quality is excellent. For the first evening at the bar we settled into a high top table. You can sit at the bar, lounge type seating or outdoors on a pleasantly shaded patio. They had an expanded bar bites menu as the main restaurant is closed on Wednesdays... most of it quite enticing. We opted for cocktails to start and I chose a specialty Date Maple Old Fashioned. It was really good with a large ice ball to chill it. For bar bites we shared the pork belly sandwiches (small, delicious but messy to eat), the sausage skewers (amazing!) and crab cups (refreshingly light and easy to eat). After cocktails we had glasses of a light white wine, made with Santorini Greek grapes. For the next meal in the dining room the place was a buzz with activity but conversation was easy without a lot of excessive noise. It's intimate and the room is quite pleasant for a gourmet meal. We started with cocktails (same Old Fashioned) and shared the grilled Brussels Sprouts which were plentiful and ever so delicious. They were slightly over grilled for my taste yet it didn't distract from me enjoying them. We got bread which was a baguette with butter and the consistency perfect for a French style loaf. For my entree I debated between the scallops and the pork chop and went with the chop. I was quite pleased as the chop came in thick slices and drizzled with a tarragon mustard reduction sauce. It was amazing, tender, juicy and at 22oz I couldn't finish it all. It came with a tasty apple sauce and grilled seared cabbage. Absolutely delicious. Ed, celebrating a birthday, had steak which came with a huge bowl of mashed potatoes which I tasted. Oh my gosh, the creamiest potatoes ever! For dessert we shared the cheese plate, a really great way to end the meal, with glasses of a twany port. All of the cheeses from a brie to a hard cheese were top quality. Service both times was very attentive, professional yet personable. We were well cared for and everything went smoothly. It's expensive yet the experience and value is worth visiting. After a moment of awkwardness the hostess asked if we had a reservation and we said "Yes at 6:00". We were then promptly seated. Our waitress was terrific, I forget her name but she had tattoos on her arms. Wonderful gal. The spicy sausage appetizer was the best part of the meal then it went to shit. The filet was a BEAUTIFUL piece of meat cooked to an absolutely prefect medium rare. However there was no flavor. Believe me when I say it must've had four grains of salt and that was it. No pepper no fucken nothin. Some poor Mignon cow lost his life for this bullshit. Like it was just a piece of meat with no seasoning. I almost asked for some A-1 just to choke it down. The mashed potatoes or excuse me "potato fucken purée" was average at best. Wife found her Salmon to be mid. For dessert we took the chocolate cake thing, and the strawberry cheesecake to go. The chocolate cake was like a 7/10 and the cheesecake was just like three separate piles of fuckery. Like the ingredients were just piled in the box waiting for assembly. It was the weirdest shit I've ever seen in my life. I should've taken a picture of it. Oh yeah the asshole piña colada wasn't blended it was just on the rocks with a nice paper fucken straw to slowly add some smoked wood flavor to my adult beverage. For $200 (plus tip mind you) this meal should've knocked my fucken socks off. Good lord this place needs some SERIOUS help. I can tell that the cooks know what they're doing but fuck man season the damn food. So in closing 1)season the food 2)ditch the paper straws 3)and blend the fucken drinks Oh I forgot to mention "ambiance". Think of a double wide from the 1970s with the floor vent collecting food crumbs under me then blowing air up my skirt. It was a nice touch.
