Extremely long wait time! We waited an hour to get our food! We tried this spot for the first time today (5/10), and honestly, it was a frustrating experience. We came in around 3:05 pm and were seated right away. We had our order in around 3:15, and then... we waited. And waited. After an hour waiting, our food finally hit the table at 4:15 pm! We were starving! (It wasn't just us, either the family with kids at the table next to us also waited 50 minutes for their meal.) What made it worse was that our server completely disappeared! Our server never checked in to explain the delay. The only attention we received was a quick drink refill from another staff member. When I finally asked for an explanation before leaving, we were told a cook had quit the day before. While I understand staffing issues happen, management should be transparent about that upfront! If you know you can't provide timely service, let your customers know before they sit down so they can decide if they want to wait! It's a shame because the food was actually excellent! The chicken nachos might be the best in town! But great food doesn't excuse the hour-long wait, poor planning and zero communication. We won't be back.

Casa Mia is a Mexican influenced restaurant that seems to specialize in breakfast and lunch. The menu is eclectic. In addition to Mexican breakfast favorites like chilaquiles and juevos rancheros, they've also got ham and eggs, pancakes, and eggs benedict, The dinner menu includes enchiladas, burritos, mole, and chile rellenos, along with grilled salmon and ribeye steak. The menu is large; you can order breakfast items all day. The decor and atmosphere are modern and upscale; there is also outdoor seating. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and attentive; we couldn't ask for better service. The food was amazing... the portions are good, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavor was great. I ordered a chile relleno, which cam with beans, rice, and tortillas. My friend had the seafood enchiladas. I'l certainly be back to Casa Mia, and I highly recommend it.

Had lunch at Casa Mia with my family on a Saturday afternoon. I made a reservation for the five of us through Yelp and that worked out well. Casa Mia is located in the old Una Mas location in the Santa Teresa Main Street Shopping Center. They did a great job with the renovation. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Our food was delicious. I had the Malibu grilled chicken sandwich, and while it was so messy I had to eat it with a knife and fork, it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in recent memory. Other family members had the mushroom burger, club sandwich, Western BBQ burger, and kid's breakfast. Everyone agreed the food was wonderful. There was one tiny little hiccup, if you can even call it that. The menu includes food items only served after 3pm, but I didn't realize that and had my heart set on quesabirria tacos that weren't available for lunch. It all worked out fine-- I loved the sandwich I ended up ordering. Service was good and our food was served quickly. Prices are a little high, but it's like that everywhere nowadays. I'm looking forward to going back for dinner and having the quesabirria tacos.

I finally got to try this place after hearing and reading good things about it from Yelp, NextDoor and word of mouth. Exciting to have a Mexican themed all day brunch spot in the area! For my first visit, it was a lunch timeslot, so I felt compelled to try a salad. I ordered the Tuna salad. I also got a side of fries. My friend ordered the Steak and Eggs. We loved our meals. Good portions and fresh ingredients. The salad was light and refreshing. The steak was cooked perfectly, the side of potatoes were nicely seasoned. I loved the french fries as well. Our server was attentive and checked several times if we needed anything. The ambience and decor was well done and I loved the "Instagram Wall" that many places are adopting. The menu is extensive and had a BUNCH of items I want to try! A whole page of Chilaquiles. And a whole page of different French toasts and pancakes, Benedicts, etc. Excuse me while I drool! Brunch items are served all day, along with salads, burgers and sandwiches. Plus a selection of entrees and appetizers served after 3. I will definitely be back!

Casa Mia was truly a gem of a find. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt elegant and welcoming. The décor is beautiful -- bright, stylish, and almost gives you the feeling of dining at a chic oceanfront café. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed and happy to linger. Casa Mia clearly takes pride in their philosophy: creating dishes that are flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they care about the ingredients and the experience they provide to their guests. The menu is extensive, with a wonderful mix of classic breakfast dishes and more creative options, and they also offer an all-day brunch menu, which we loved. Everything we ordered was excellent: My guava bellini was delicious and refreshing. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito, which was hearty and full of flavor. I had the chile relleno, which was fantastic. My son ordered the kids burger, and the portion was surprisingly generous -- honestly large enough for an adult -- especially for the very reasonable price. For dessert we shared the ube cheesecake, which was absolutely perfect for the three of us and a wonderful way to finish the meal. Overall, Casa Mia feels like a real treat of a place -- great food, beautiful ambiance, generous portions, and thoughtful service. It's the kind of hidden gem you almost want to keep secret, but it deserves the recognition. We'll definitely be coming back. 5/5 stars

Such a cute new spot in Blossom Valley! The space is super inviting with plenty of indoor seating plus some nice outdoor tables. I stopped by for lunch and was trying to keep things on the healthier side, so I went with the grilled chicken sandwich. The portion was great for the price and the chicken was actually juicy and not dry at all. And let me just say... the fries are AMAZING. Crispy and perfectly seasoned. The staff really made the experience even better. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Shoutout to Jessica for being the absolute best! I'm already looking forward to coming back for breakfast/brunch and trying more of their menu.

Noted the great reviews and figured we would give a try. We were not let down to say the least. We went on a Saturday afternoon without a wait time and were treated with kind energy from beginning to end. Very kid friendly. We ordered special burrito that was decently sized and delicious, and fish tacos with plenty of salad on the side. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we got. The quesadillas for the kids that we ordered and came with fries also was plenty of food and good. Clean spacious interior. Would definitely come again.

Checked out Casa Mia for dinner tonight. They turned this former Una Mas location into a really beautiful restaurant. Our server was excellent. I wish I got her name (younger with glasses), as she was so helpful and provided a lot of recommendations. It has been hot in San Jose, so the Fish Tacos just sounded like the right choice. They really hit the spot and I loved the sauce they put on them. It was a nice heat that complimented the fresh fish. We are will be definitely coming back to try their breakfast on our next visit.

    Enchiladas
    Love K.

Can't speak for the breakfast which is what Casa Mia is apparently known for... but we came for an early dinner as I was craving enchiladas. I ordered the shredded chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce and opted for more beans than the side of rice. The dish hit the spot. It was clean (as in no fatty pieces) and was packed with flavor due to the verde sauce. The only downside is the customer service. After taking our order, the server didn't check on us until giving us our food and at the end to flag her down for the check. The reason for the low rating was because I watched my food sit under the lamp in the empty restaurant because my server and another worker were in some deep conversation. I'd definitely want to give this spot a chance again but I'm hoping they're more attentive going forward.

    Fly buzzing around

Every time a new spot opens up yelpers come in, hype it up, and never really critically look at a restaurant. I don't know, I guess I'll always buck that trend, which means I'll never be elite, oh well. Casa Mia's menu has a lot of variety but there's a lack of value, and even worse a premium price for sub premium food. Take for instance my taco salad. The chicken had no grill marks, barely any seasoning and overall pales in comparison to that one Mexican fast food spot that does chicken. Just pale white bits of meat that had been freshly microwaved for all I knew. The other dishes I saw didn't impress. The coconut shrimp was burnt, and the plantains looked like they had been pre cooked, with chocolate syrup drizzled over them. I get that they're plantains but having eaten them a few nights prior from the Bay Area's favorite Jamaican jerk chicken spot, I can very quickly say I've had better. Our party of 6 was considered a large party, so automatic gratuity added with a 3% living wage added with no signs posted conspicuously stating those charges would be added. Service was somewhat chaotic as our 4 of our meals and appetizers came out, but 2 didn't come out for about 6 extra minutes. Flies buzzing around and landing on meals. Really? This is the high end ambiance we're paying for? For Mexican food I expect bolder flavors than the blandness I sampled. I'd expect flies if I was eating outdoors, but this was indoors. These prices I'd expect slightly finer food, but it tasted like warmed up Sysco. 2 out of 5. The reality of what they are to what they try to present themselves as is 2 different things.

The food was really good, but it was the staff that was great!! Excellent service and very helpful. It has a lot of seating inside and was very clean. Cute spot to hang with friends or enjoy brunch on the weekend with family!

Patience Rewarded: Top-Tier Service and a Very Warm Welcome I've been watching the "Coming Soon" sign at Casa Mia with high hopes for months, and I finally had the chance to visit recently with a friend. I'm happy to report it was well worth the wait! The first thing you notice is the beautiful decor--the space is thoughtfully arranged and feels very spacious. They have comfortable seating and a great outdoor area that I'm looking forward to using more as the weather warms up. What truly blew me away, however, was the service. Most new restaurants stumble through "opening jitters," but Casa Mia is an exception. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcome and appreciated. The staff here clearly understands hospitality. The food was fresh and flavorful. Our waitress welcomed us with pan dulce - a courtesy pastry. I went with the breakfast burrito and my friend had the shrimp tacos; both were delicious and the portions were so generous that we both walked away with "round two" leftovers for the next day. Taking one star off only because I'm excited to see how the menu evolves, but for a new addition to the neighborhood, they are already hitting their stride. Book a table--you won't regret it!

My friend and I tried Casa Mia Restaurant today for the first time for lunch. They are located in the Santa Teresa Main Street Shopping Center. They have only been open for a month. As we approached the door, it was opened for us by a kind employee who warmly greeted us and welcomed us in. That was so sweet. We were shown to our table and greeted by our waitress. We were given menus and were brought cold water. The restaurant was very busy, which I thought was great. We definitely need to support our local businesses. They offer breakfast and lunch until 3:00 p.m. Then dinner is offered after 3:00 p.m. The menu was in a nicely organized binder. I loved the variety of offerings on their menu. They had Mexican and American dishes to pick from. My friend decided to order the Philly cheesesteak with fries. And I ordered the Malibu grilled chicken with fries. It's a nice-sized restaurant inside with casual modern decor. They really did a great job making this place look brand new inside. It took about 18 minutes for our food to arrive, which wasn't too bad, considering how busy it was in there. I requested no onions on my sandwich and they forgot to omit them. Our waitress noticed this and quickly took my dish back to have them remove the onions. I really appreciated that. The food was delicious. My friend enjoyed her Philly cheesesteak and I loved my grilled chicken sandwich. My sandwich had a chipotle mayo on it that gave it a great flavor. All the vegetable toppings were super fresh. The tomato slices in particular were thickly cut and fresh-tasting. I loved the avocado in my sandwich as well. They were very generous with all the toppings. The fries were seasoned perfectly and crispy. We both enjoyed them. Customer service was top-notch here. They really take good care of you. When we left, they held the door open for us again. They are so courteous and hospitable. I love that! I love that this is close by to where I live. I will definitely be coming back to try breakfast and dinner soon.

Hey there party People…read more Decided to venture into Willow Glen today on the hunt for something new to try. Boy howdy did we hit the Mother Load with "The Table". We hit the Brunch hour and the place was rocking. We were able to sit right down amazingly. There is a fabulous patio to people watch and enjoy the California weather. Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. Will I come back, probably not, did it serve its purpose, sure, wasn't hungry after but also didn't enjoy it much

The service has always been friendly and attentive. The staff checks in regularly without being overbearing, and food usually comes out quickly even when the restaurant is busy. The atmosphere is warm and comfy. Exactly what you'd want from a neighborhood breakfast spot.

The restaurant was pretty full, it was after noon, but we got seated in the patio. The menu was pretty good for breakfast/lunch and we ordered our food. I chose the breakfast menu with two eggs, hash browns, corned beef hash and toast with butter, my girlfriend chose a lunch menu item, fried chicken sandwich, fries and clam chowder. Both dishes were tasty, and the servers were very nice. It was very busy, but the food tasted good, and we were replete. It's a new go-to place for us, it's near Michael's, which is where we went afterwards to shop for fabric. We will definitely come here again!
