    Bananas Foster Platter

I revisited Huckleberry's after two years, since I had heard how great it was. I think it was fine, but not great. My friend and I ordered the banana foster plate with bananas foster French toast. We counted four small pieces of banana on it! It looked like a sad version of the picture on the menu. Also got the fried chicken and waffle stack. It was pretty good, though I felt like the fried chicken was a little overcooked. I felt like everything was very average, nothing really stood out to me. Service was pretty fast. I was glad they didn't have a huge wait for a weekend brunch but that might be because there are better places out there.

I really wish armadillo willies was still here, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a Louisiana occasion style restaurant brunch place pop-up! I love New Orleans, and I need to go back!! As I picked up food for my aunt and niece and nephew, I didn't know what to get so I got an assortment of different items. We got an omelette that was basically Vegetarian, but it only had one slice of avocado on it when that was supposed to be a main ingredient. Hee. Chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes. A sandwich and the beet Trio so we could try the different flavors. My family all loved their food, and as I cut up the rest of the omelette for my nephew to eat, I sadly found a black circular curly hair in the cheese.Eekk gats! Since we basically ate the whole thing, I figured it wasn't worth reporting to the restaurant. The omelette that stuff was delicious and the only thing I was sad about was the lack of avocado. But everything else tasted delicious! I also might how big their menu was! They had a great assortment of savory and sweet dishes, which I truly appreciated as well as sandwiches so if you wanted to do something lighter or potentially split it with somebody you could. Hee We had takeout service, but there was one gentleman working the cashier and seemed to be the food runner. He was very polite and helpful than as I ordered my food. A lady brought my food out about 25 minutes later, but I also ordered five dishes. Lol I wouldn't mind coming back here again and actually dining in the restaurant since the decor had a very southern/Cajun style to it.

First time coming to this location. I have been to one in Palm Beach and enjoyed the food there. We came with my mom and siblings this time. They are practically regulars they like it so much. I wasn't feeling breakfast so I got the fried catfish. It had a good breading and crispy texture. I also got the Huckleberry lemonade..My toddler loved the berries and practically ate all of them. She got a kids pancake breakfast but focused more on the berries. I tried the waffles and I would definitely get them next time. I like a nice little crunch outside and soft inside. I also want to try their gumbo so theirs always next time.

Huckleberry's is such a fun breakfast and brunch spot! Everything we tried was delicious. The waffles were crispy and loaded with savory toppings, while the French toast with blueberries was sweet, fluffy, and generously topped with fruit. The warm beignets with powdered sugar were a perfect treat to finish the meal. Portions are generous, the service was friendly, and the colorful Southern-inspired atmosphere makes the whole experience feel cheerful and welcoming. Definitely a breakfast spot I'd happily return to!

We came to huckleberry's on a weekend morning and were seated immediately. The restaurant is bayou themed and I loved the decorations. Service was good! The food tasted great but it was very heavy. This is not a health food spot. Beignets were amazing and came with multiple fruits and toppings. Parking is easy - this place is in a plaza

I was excited to find a location here! The food here is fresh, full of flavor, and always served hot. The portions here are big, which I love. Service here is amazing. Every server we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. My friends and I will be coming back for sure.

We thought about checking it out for a while given we go to Al Costello once a week. I was pleasantly surprised! Southern over tone as you fat fried okra and eggs , super great muffins and the staff is really friendly and engaging. Definitely will go back Big three egg omelets and voltes ceilings Nice theme , good experience

Holy Smokes!!! I mean Beignets ... I've always loved breakfast and boy oh boy did I get a good one. The hazard of my extensive travel schedule is I get a chance to eat at many new restaurants. I had a leisurely morning so I yelped the closest breakfast joint to my hotel. First to appear on the map and a healthy 4.5 star rating? Huckleberry's! When I arrived around 7:30am on a Tuesday the place was virtually empty. Daniela sat me at a lovely booth and handed me their fabulous Menu. Standard breakfast fare with a Cajun twist, and a beignet that was put on my table complimentary. Soooooo happy that happened because it was a highlight. Buttery cream base, then an option of Huckleberry, strawberry and peaches. Yes, I tried them ALL! For my main dish I built an omelette of andouille sausage, mushrooms, avocado and cheddar cheese. This is two in a row for me on "perfect" omelettes. Even better, the crispy and well seasoned hash browns. A sensational breakfast top to bottom. Daniela had my excellent coffee topped off nonstop, and her smile, friendliness and perfect service made my morning just that much better. The restaurant is in an upscale mini mall with an attractive yet non de script building, but the inside is what shone! Great welcoming ambiance, with color, texture and comfort. I'll be in the San Jose area again next month and guess where I will be having breakfast! 4.5-5.0 but closer to a 5.0 Well Done

Huckleberry's is one of those no frills brunch spots that just overall fun. It has a southern theme that makes you feel comfortable and at home. This time around, we had: -Chicken Fried Steak - Chicken and Waffles -Fried tomatoes I personally had the Chicken Fried Steak and it was awesome, covered in sausage gravy, and very crispy. The Fried tomatoes were something I've never had before, very good, especially with the spiced ranch that was served with it The area was very spacious and the server made sure our needs were met. The plaza in general was easy to park in. In my opinion, the prices were amazing, it was like 3 of us with food and appetizers costing around $70+ which is a very good deal when comparable brunch spots are so much more expensive

I was craving a breakfast meal so I thought I'd give Huckleberry's a try. Overall I had a good experience. I was greeted and seated without delay, handed a menu, and informed they were out of fried green tomatoes. Not a big deal because I was after breakfast foods. This location is the old Armadillo Willy's and you can see hints of the old Willy's in this new restaurant. Everything was very clean. No stickiness on the table. Nice and tidy! I was torn between a basic waffle and the Bananas Foster French Toast platter. The latter comes with fried green tomatoes, eggs, and bacon and was what I wanted the most. I don't like eggs so I would have ordered sans eggs and asked what the substitution options were for fried green tomatoes as those were not available. I was told the fried green tomatoes were considered "garnish" so I simply wouldn't receive them. I thought it was odd that they're an appetizer item you can order and pay for from the menu but considered a garnish on another dish, but whatever. I honestly expected to be offered something else to round out the plate. At almost $20, the dish would bee too expensive for just the French toast and bacon, so I went with the waffle. The waffle was excellent. Light and crisp on the outside with enough substance to it. Neither too thin and not too dense. The bacon was ok. I've had worse but I've also had better. I like that they provide an assortment of jellies and flavored creamers at the table, neither of which you see these days. The service was impeccable. I felt that the customer service was the absolute high point of my visit. Top notch! It's nice when the staff seem to enjoy what they're doing and treat customers as though they're valued. Service was so unexpectedly good that I give extra points for this alone. They're in a strip mall and parking is pretty abundant. I do plan to come back someday for that Bananas Foster French Toast and fried green tomatoes!

I had a chance to try Huckleberry's for brunch and this was a great experience. This spot had not been on my radar until my friends found it and it was awesome! They had really cute decorations and nice service which was nice. The ambiance was casual and cozy, great for friends and family. For food I tried: * Beignets - these were warm, but definitely should be crispier on the outside and softer on the inside. I liked that it came with different sauces to eat this though *Breakfast burrito - I got this with bacon with the creole sauce and this was delicious. I loved every bite was so full of flavor and would definitely get this again *Chicken and waffle - hubby ordered this and loved it. The sweet and savory combo was top notch Overall, the meal was yummy and big portions for what you pay for ! Definitely check this spot out!

We've been here a few times on Sunday's after church. The wait time was short, the decor is very fun and menu is authentic Louisiana. The food portions are huge and they have a great menu variety to choose from. They have tables and booths great for breakfast and lunch.

This is a fairly new place, maybe 6 months in? Location is good as it's close to my house. We went out for lunch 3 adults on a Friday. I love the decor, I was just in NOLA and it was really nice going to a Louisiana style place. We were sorted quickly while it was still fairly busy, we had a really nice server and when we asked to be moved to a booth they were happy to accommodate. Service was quick and friendly. The reason for the 3 star review is the food. I had high expectations but maybe that's where I was wrong. We ordered the deep fried green tomatoes and Cajun sweet potato fries to share. The tomatoes just tasted like oil. The fries didn't have enough seasoning and were completely soggy, not crunchy and fun. We had the Fish dish with the jambalaya rice which was ok, the rice was good. We also had 2 chicken salads. The portion was ok I guess not too big nor small. The amount of chicken was tiny, I was expecting a bigger protein portion. 1/4 avocado that had black spots so I had to ditch half of it, the hard boiled egg was ok. We asked no bacon and dressing on the side which was great. The toast that comes with it was a little redundant and had no flavor so none of us ate it. It'll be better to offer croutons instead in my personal opinion. The salad was very underwhelming... like 2/5. The fish was a 4/5. I liked the water being served in mason jars. The server asked for our opinion but we felt it'll be too much to share for now so we just mentioned the fries seasoning. I don't think I'll come back anytime soon, I don't feel it was worth it much, but my sister came here a couple of months ago and really liked it for breakfast so maybe they're just not great with lunch yet...

If you're hoping to sit inside, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. The service was wonderful from start to finish. My friend and I both ordered the smash burger and I've got to say it was easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned so well. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. And whatever you do, DO NOT skip the bread pudding. It was a 1000/10! Not overly sweet, perfectly balanced, and the texture was incredible. If you're on the fence about dessert, just order it, you won't regret it. The only minor downside was that the sodas were very flat and tasted a bit syrupy. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and the overall experience was excellent for such a cute spot in downtown Los Gatos. Will definitely be returning soon!

Our server was Therese who took excellent care of us. She was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Also, the manager came around to check up on us, to make sure we didn't have last calls right before the kitchen closed. That was considerate. We decided on ordering the... Grilled Pork Chop: bourbon marinated grilled peach compote, peach, red onion & tomato salad (4/5). The presentation was gorgeous. A Sous vide pork chop with grill marks cooked to a medium temperature. Savory and complemented with the tangy, spicy, and tart salad. A tad heavy handed on the salt for the sauce, otherwise, it was still delicious. Gnocchi Ragu: lamb bolognese, pecorino (4/5). The meat sauce was delicious. The gnocchi itself was sizeable and decent. Fries (4/5) - medium shoe string cut fries that were hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. So fresh and right out of the deep fryer. Parkside Bread Pudding: vanilla gelato, pecan praline (4/5). This was delicious. Therese was told by the kitchen staff that they unfortunately ran out of the pecan praline when she brought it out. Though, it was still decadent and divine. Therese even brought us a complimentary beignets for a birthday celebration. We will be back! So I want to set the record straight because Los Gatos Cafe was a really good experience. It's a small place but there are outside tables as well. They had a ton of fresh bananas inside as well as a nice amount of chocolate chips on top. I had the Hot Turkey and Pear sandwich. I know the combo sounds weird but it was super tasty. The pear added crunch and sweetness to the sandwich. There was also a good dose of grilled onions to go with the owie gooey cheese....yum. Hubby had the Granite Flank Steak Sandwich . It was smothered in Gorgonzola cheese with a good portion of Flank Steak. The steak was tender and well seasoned. It was the perfect flavor bite.
