    Chorizo skillet
    Amanda M.

I thought this place was fine, but that's about it; I probably wouldn't choose to come back. The ambiance was pretty relaxed when we went and waitress was friendly, but I didn't like my chorizo skillet. I thought there was a disproportionate amount of potatoes, hardly any peppers (despite the menu calling out "with bell peppers"), and the chorizo had a good flavor but was a little skimpy. As an aside, it didn't feel like I ordered a skillet because it was served on a normal plate; it felt like potatoes were served and then everything else just piled on top.

They fukked up the order...simply ordered two poached eggs with bacon...we didn't get the poached eggs...bacon recooked...if you call they don't answer...been up since 5:30 working to get recooked bacon and no eggs

If you ever have a friend that says, let's go for brunch to Mix Huevos, you should already be in the car ‍ We went on Thursday morning, during the morning rush and were greeted at the door with a smile. Seated instantly but could tell they were a bit understaffed as it took a while to get water or gain someone's attention. Though, they were friendly and did their best to come around when they could. The space was vibrant from the flowers, music was just loud enough and it was buzzing with community energy (a light amount though, cause everyone was either tired or in a food coma already). The Classic Eggs Benedict (ham and English muffin) was what you would expect so I'd definitely try one of their other creative takes next time! Could have used more seasoning, perhaps a little lemon in the sauce I don't really care for potatoes and usually I sub for fruit but it was so nice to see a parfait as an option, it was tasty and generously portioned! We shared the Chunky Monkey Pancakes andddd let me tell you, I'll be coming back for more. It was sweet for sureee so sharing was the right path but the flavors, especially the sauce... combined with the bananas, to die for

We went to Mix Huevos for the first time and we're not disappointed. It's a little bit further, but was worth the drive. There is lots of parking and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. It was early and there was no one to welcome us at the entrance. They only had one waitress until 9:30a, but she was attentive and provided good service after sitting us in a booth. The food was hot and tasty. The portions are big and a good value. Definitely would recommend Mix Huevos for breakfast.

The food was good & hot! The portions were humongous lol definitely worth the price. Our server was sweet and pleasant I didn't get her name but she had purple hair. There was also another staff helping her and they were both on top of refilling my coffee and bringing us extra napkins when we asked. We found Mix Huevos on TikTok and it was a great find. We were visiting from Sac for the weekend and we will definitely come again.

It was our first time at this restaurant and it was definitely what we imagined and more! We had reservations for a large group of 22 and they were able to accommodate us. We got seated on time and our waiters were so accommodating. But man, the food was AMAZING!!!! Our steaks were cooked as we ordered it (which is so hard to find nowadays). My medium steak was actually medium! Portions are also big and so flavorful. We will be back and we will be regulars for sure. We are a fan!

At this restaurant location, I've seen a handful of restaurants go by and I deeply miss Benedicts, the restaurant that was here before (no offense). Tried Mix Huevos after going to AVAC for a pickleball workout. It wasn't too packed at all and we sat outside. I ordered the Country Fried Steak it was hands down the worse Country Fried Steak I've ever had. Didn't even taste like it. I was very offput but still ate it. Eggs and hashbrowns were fine to eat. It just tasted like they didn't know how to cook it or something and it was kind've soggy too. My friend got the chilaquiles and liked it alot so I'm happy for him. This place has potential but if your serving brunch, you have to make all types of items good. Probably wouldn't come back.

Mix Huevos is such a vibe and the food is fantastic! There is always a wait here, and that's how you know the food is about to hit. Whenever I come here, I make sure I don't eat anything beforehand because I love to go all out here. Despite there being a crowd, we're usually seated fairly quickly and service is always prompt. I've gotten the chilaquiles rojo and verde with tri-tip and New York respectively. The flavors explode in your mouth, and the steaks are always cooked to perfection. I personally love the rojo, since I enjoy the bold flavor profile of the chile sauce, but both are great and have a good depth of flavor. I'm looking forward to trying the California and mole chilaquiles next time.

Amazing ambience and great service! We went for a weekend brunch around noon and still, we got sat really quickly. Their sitting area are spacious enough so you can have fun with your party in your own peace. We ordered a couple of dishes, they all came out with a huge portion! We personally liked the protein. It's seasoned well and huge portion that we felt like it could feed two people. The monkey pancakes were good, but not enough sauces to go with it. So it's good for the first part until we're out of the sauce. The price is relatively cheaper than other brunch spots that offer the same items. Would definitely come back

Food was incredible! I could only eat 1/2 of my omelet. It came with a side of fruit that wss very fresh. Service was very good and attentive. We will definitely be back - especially after seeing their bar menu!!

Was just a spree of the moment to go out for breakfast on a Sunday. 1. Be prepared to wait a little, the place was packed but it wasn't too long of a wait. 2 plenty of parking! Super important Our server was really nice and checked on us few times. I will say it took 35 min to get our food but again, not much of a surprise with how many people were there. They were sweet enough to make a mocktail for my 14yo nephew. The portions are HUGE, America sizes so we had boxes to go. Their Americano was OK, not the best 6/10 but better than drip. For 3 people with leftovers and a good tip we ended up at around $100

This is our first time here. We have been to this plaza a few times and didn't know this place existed since it's hidden in the back corner with the other shops. When we got there, we got seated pretty quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We noticed some folks brought their pet and were seated outside. So it seems to be pet friendly. Our server was very nice and checked up on us a few times to see if we needed anything else. My wife ordered the bottomless mimosa which has a 1 hour limit. Our server was pretty attentive so she was able to get her refills in a timely manner. I started off with the spicy bloody and finished off with a michelada. Both drinks were good but not as spicy as some other places I tried. My wife ordered the wellington benedict and chose the medium rare new york steak. The steak was very tender and we were surprise how the steak actually went well with the egg benedict. I opted for the rojos chilaquiles and added the medium rare ribeye steak. The steak was very thin but still good for brunch. It was more on the medium side. I might opt for rare next time due to the thickness to get it a little more red. The chips was cooked in red sauce so the sauce was not flowing on the dish which is a good thing. I might opt for the verde next time and add a new york steak instead. Our kids didn't want to go eat so we ordered the food to go for them. My youngest son wanted country fried steak. He was spoiled with the way Nashville made their gravy and chicken so he wasn't a fan of it. I tried a little and it was similar to other brunch places in the bay area. He was hoping that there was more flavor on the gravy and I even told him after Nashville, every country fried steak he tries in California will not be the same. My older son ordered the breakfast burrito. It was pretty big and stuffed with potatoes and some meat. He only finished half and saved the other half for dinner. It didn't come with salsa or sauce though. Overall, our experience was very good. The portions weren't bad and staff were great. There were a few tv's around the room so good place to catch the game while enjoying some brunch and drinks. Parking wasn't an issue but it took us a bit to find the restaurant in the plaza. There were a lot of tables so they can accommodate a good amount of people from what we can see. They have a wide variety of food selection on their menu so you are not just limited to omelettes and benedict.

First and last time at this place lol. Both plates had hair, waitress service was okay but the food was not.

They had some Fanime specials for the con (katsu and egg salad sandwiches, spam musubi), seasonal drinks, of course coffees and teas, and non caffeinated drinks, as well as some food too (heated up pastries, both sweet and savory). There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.

Kinda a pain and I personally don't feel it makes much sense as I wanted something not on the pre fixe menu Food: Bruschetta - so tasty. It's a flavor bomb with the cheese, honey, and mortadella. Def recommend Kofta- not bad. I dunno if the meatballs really went that well with the hummus as it's kind of a dryer dip but I get what they were trying to do. The bruschetta was much better imo Crudo- solid crudo. I've had better quality fish but it still fairly good. Nice dish if you don't want something too heavy and want a lil citrus Scallops- really good but really pricey. Is 2 for $24 . Loved the way it was prepped tho and the wasabi cream sauce. Oysters- also good but also pricey @ $4/oyster. If you hafta make a choice I liked the scallops better Octopus: cooked perfectly. Loved the sauces and flavors as well. This was a big hit at the table Chicken: nice grilled taste but ultimately overcooked and dry. Flavor was ok. Prob wouldn't get again nor recommend Ny strip: solid steak with nice char texture and flavors. Nothin crazy crazy but way better than the chicken Ocean trout: imo the best entree of the night. It was cooked perfectly and the skin had a perfect crisp/flakiness Lobster tagliatelle: pretty meh. I think the sauce on the pasta was a bit bland. There also was barely any lobster. I'd skip this Lemon pie: the best dessert. It sounds basic AF but it's really a deconstructed lemon pie using lemon meringue on top. Def creative and tasty. Loukoumades: despite being recommended we prob felt this was the least fav dessert. The dough balls were a bit stale instead of nice soft and fluffy Chocolate sundae: reminded me of a chocolate mojito. It was not bad and the mint created another dimension to the desert but ultimately just way too much chocolate. I think it could be better if there were scoops of different flavors instead of all choc Overall, most of the dishes were great and we generally had a good experience. Some dishes were meh but def felt the majority were winners. Wouldn't mind coming back for a special occasion or nice dinner again when the menu is refreshed

From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. Anyways- I work at a doggy daycare and the Vietnamese coffee here hits all the points for me: smooth, creamy, delicious, and TURNS ME INTO AN EVEN BIGGER ENERGIZER BUNNY THAN SOME OF THE DOGS I WORK WITH. Love love love!!

Our breakfast bagels with sausage and bacon were very yummy! And very well priced for the size. You order at the counter and they take a few minutes to make your food before calling your name out. Super easy and quick! There is some outside seating but it is a little limited. However, these bagels are great for eating on the go/in the car which is what we did :)

The…read moreplace has a chill, cozy feel , nothing over the top, just a nice spot to sit and eat without feeling rushed. I tried one of their signature sandos and it was really solid. The bread was soft and fresh, and everything inside tasted balanced rather than heavy or greasy. It's simple food, but done properly, which makes a big difference. Coffee was also better than I expected and worked well with the sandwich. The staff were friendly and easygoing, and even though it was fairly busy, the wait wasn't long. Overall, it's just a nice, low-key place for a casual bite. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely somewhere I'd go back to when I'm in the mood for a good sandwich and a relaxed atmosphere.

Upon entering, I loved how spacious the place was, especially with the variety of foods they had: egg sandwiches, matcha lattes, coffee, and lots more. I was fortunate enough to try their egg drop in a jar alongside bacon and cheese, and their matcha latte. Both were very delicious and had a very natural taste to them :) They had self-order kiosks but at the same time, their hospitality and customer service was on par. They were very accommodating with regards to dietary restrictions (especially when it came to the milk selections for lattes, matcha was no different). I will definitely be coming back to this place to try more! (Hint hint: I may also try their other location as well -- that to.be saved for another time)

We initially sat at a table but asked to move to a booth due to baby and me comfort and they were super kind about it. Thank you for elevating the experience.... I ordered the loco moco and I'm so glad I did. Everything on the plate was deeelicious, kimchee is good for you, the meat patty was medium cooked as I asked and the eggs were scrambled super soft as I asked! My man got the low carb, and we expected the ingredients to all be separate but it comes in as a scramble. No biggie though. Was tempted to try the latte flight! That's interesting right? But couldn't justify all that sugar so did the nitro cold brew and it was very enjoyable:) Would def come back again for the same course of action.

(4.5/5) Had brunch…read moreat The Table on a beautiful warm Wednesday, and the patio was definitely the highlight. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

Hey there party People…read more Decided to venture into Willow Glen today on the hunt for something new to try. Boy howdy did we hit the Mother Load with "The Table". We hit the Brunch hour and the place was rocking. We were able to sit right down amazingly. There is a fabulous patio to people watch and enjoy the California weather. Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. If you are in Willow Glen and you don't stop here you are missing out on something wonderful. Be kind to one another
