We went to Mix Huevos for the first time and we're not disappointed. It's a little bit further, but was worth the drive. There is lots of parking and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. It was early and there was no one to welcome us at the entrance. They only had one waitress until 9:30a, but she was attentive and provided good service after sitting us in a booth. The food was hot and tasty. The portions are big and a good value. Definitely would recommend Mix Huevos for breakfast.

It was our first time at this restaurant and it was definitely what we imagined and more! We had reservations for a large group of 22 and they were able to accommodate us. We got seated on time and our waiters were so accommodating. But man, the food was AMAZING!!!! Our steaks were cooked as we ordered it (which is so hard to find nowadays). My medium steak was actually medium! Portions are also big and so flavorful. We will be back and we will be regulars for sure. We are a fan!

Food was incredible! I could only eat 1/2 of my omelet. It came with a side of fruit that wss very fresh. Service was very good and attentive. We will definitely be back - especially after seeing their bar menu!!

Amazing ambience and great service! We went for a weekend brunch around noon and still, we got sat really quickly. Their sitting area are spacious enough so you can have fun with your party in your own peace. We ordered a couple of dishes, they all came out with a huge portion! We personally liked the protein. It's seasoned well and huge portion that we felt like it could feed two people. The monkey pancakes were good, but not enough sauces to go with it. So it's good for the first part until we're out of the sauce. The price is relatively cheaper than other brunch spots that offer the same items. Would definitely come back

Was just a spree of the moment to go out for breakfast on a Sunday. 1. Be prepared to wait a little, the place was packed but it wasn't too long of a wait. 2 plenty of parking! Super important Our server was really nice and checked on us few times. I will say it took 35 min to get our food but again, not much of a surprise with how many people were there. They were sweet enough to make a mocktail for my 14yo nephew. The portions are HUGE, America sizes so we had boxes to go. Their Americano was OK, not the best 6/10 but better than drip. For 3 people with leftovers and a good tip we ended up at around $100

Delicious food and great service. Our coffee was refilled lots - thanks. We were moved promptly when asked because the large party near us was too loud for comfort.

This is our first time here. We have been to this plaza a few times and didn't know this place existed since it's hidden in the back corner with the other shops. When we got there, we got seated pretty quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We noticed some folks brought their pet and were seated outside. So it seems to be pet friendly. Our server was very nice and checked up on us a few times to see if we needed anything else. My wife ordered the bottomless mimosa which has a 1 hour limit. Our server was pretty attentive so she was able to get her refills in a timely manner. I started off with the spicy bloody and finished off with a michelada. Both drinks were good but not as spicy as some other places I tried. My wife ordered the wellington benedict and chose the medium rare new york steak. The steak was very tender and we were surprise how the steak actually went well with the egg benedict. I opted for the rojos chilaquiles and added the medium rare ribeye steak. The steak was very thin but still good for brunch. It was more on the medium side. I might opt for rare next time due to the thickness to get it a little more red. The chips was cooked in red sauce so the sauce was not flowing on the dish which is a good thing. I might opt for the verde next time and add a new york steak instead. Our kids didn't want to go eat so we ordered the food to go for them. My youngest son wanted country fried steak. He was spoiled with the way Nashville made their gravy and chicken so he wasn't a fan of it. I tried a little and it was similar to other brunch places in the bay area. He was hoping that there was more flavor on the gravy and I even told him after Nashville, every country fried steak he tries in California will not be the same. My older son ordered the breakfast burrito. It was pretty big and stuffed with potatoes and some meat. He only finished half and saved the other half for dinner. It didn't come with salsa or sauce though. Overall, our experience was very good. The portions weren't bad and staff were great. There were a few tv's around the room so good place to catch the game while enjoying some brunch and drinks. Parking wasn't an issue but it took us a bit to find the restaurant in the plaza. There were a lot of tables so they can accommodate a good amount of people from what we can see. They have a wide variety of food selection on their menu so you are not just limited to omelettes and benedict.

First time showing up here, I have been told it's a pretty good breakfast spot.. I wasn't to sure what to order since everything look pretty good, the server Nicole gave me a really good recommendation the Verde chilaquiles.. hands down one of the best chilaquiles I've had in a while. The atmosphere was pleasant since it was my mom and me, plenty of tv's to watch but mainly sport games. Would definitely come back for the service.

Such an Instagram worthy place to enjoy brunch!! Not only are eats great on the eyes but just as great in the belly!!! Came here with my work girlies to celebrate a belated birthday. Lucky for us, the bday girl went with Mix Huevos as her choice to munchies. Here, breakfast and lunch is served all day. Offerings range from a large variant of benedicts, omelettes, skillets, burgers, & salads- just to name a few. Mix Huevos provides a long list of cocktails that will leave you in awe. Our orders: Wellington Benedict- NY Steak Crab Cake Benedict Salmon Benedict Protein Scramble with Sweet Potatoes Classic Benedict Three Little Pigs Skillet Portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the plating is really pretty [depending on what you buy]. My only complaint would be the delay. There was a delay in our party being acknowledged, a delay in seating, a delay in the food coming out in a timely manner. A few plates came out substantially later than others. 4 stars overall because the staff is genuinely nice and the food is great. I'm not sure if the restaurant is simply under staffed or if the pace is just slow as a whole. Either way, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to enjoy a few other dishes that caught my attention.

Came with a group of 4. We didn't have to wait too long on a Sunday. It always hard to decide with a big menu. I was torn between eggs Benedict and corned beer hash. I noticed they had both together. I got that with country potatoes. They were soft and cooked but I would have liked them a bit crisper. My husband got chilaquiles with steak. He liked the flavor of the sauce. For being my second time here, I would come back to try something else on the menu.

Verde Chilaquiles w/ ribeye. It looked better before we dug in. But this was only half of it and after I devoured most of it.

My sister and I went here on a Saturday just a little before 11:00 am. The restaurant was busy, but they were able to seat us right away. We were seated in the bar area, so I didn't get a good look at the rest of the restaurant. However, I liked being in the bar area since there are a lot of windows and it was a nice day out. Our waiter was very nice and quick. He gave us a couple of recommendations, which is what we ended up ordering. We wanted to try a sweet and a savory dish and share. We figured it would be a lot of food, but that was an understatement. It is a TON of food. Even one dish, split, was more than we could eat but we did some damage. We ordered the Verde Chilaquiles with the rib eye, which was $31.00. The verde sauce was tangy with a slight kick to it. My sister doesn't like runny eggs, so we did scrambled (who doesn't like runny eggs?) which worked just fine. They were cooked well. The chips still had a good crunch to them and were fresh. The rib eye was really good. It was like the thin rib eyes you can buy at Costco. It worked well with the entire meal. It was so much food. We also ordered the Chunky Monkey pancakes. The pancakes are thick and fluffy and they taste really good just on their own. I don't know what they use for their batter, but it has a great flavor. It comes with slices of banana, dark chocolate chips, candied walnuts, and a butterscotch sauce. It's sweet, but the thick pancakes help balance the sweetness. We barely made a dent in these and ended up taking them home. This is also a ton of food for just $13.00. And of course, we did the bottomless mimosa's. Those were $25 a person, which seems to be the average price for bottomless mimosa's in the area. I did the peach and then tried raspberry. The raspberry was too sweet for me, but I really liked the peach. Also, the mimosa's are served in a pretty decent sized glass, so they don't skimp on those either. The amount of food you get for the price is a great value. The service was on point, and it was an enjoyable experience all around. We will definitely be back.

Great spot for yummy food in the south bay! We went mid-week at lunch time and it was packed. The retaurant was bustling with people and servers. The servers were hustling to get folks seated and feed, this actually became a major distraction as I watched the servers run around and have several close calls to bumping into other employees and customers. There were several TVs on the walls with sports playing. They also have outdoor seating if you desire and a small bar area. Despite the craziness, the food is amazing! We ordered the Huevos rancheros and the Tri-Tip Bennys. The flavorful food came with large portions that was easy to share. The salsa fresca on top of the Huevos Rancheros added a freshness to the plate. The Tri-Tip Bennys were amazing with the steak cooked with a nice char. The hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. Of note, if you like hot salsa, order the house Don Juan Salsa. It is a haberno salsa and so good! There is a $2 up charge for it, but they brought out a large bowl of it. You won't be disappointed with that salsa.

Mix Huevos is brunch goals! The churro French toast with berries was a cinnamon-sugar dream--slightly crispy outside, soft inside, and gone in minutes. The crab cake Benedict? Legit awesome--flavor-packed and perfectly cooked with that hollandaise sauce. The spinach scrambled eggs with house red potatoes were a hearty, feel-good win--fluffy eggs and crispy, seasoned potatoes that disappeared fast. And let's not forget the kids' favorite: hot chocolate that came with big smiles. Cozy spot, great service, and a menu that delivers. Will definitely be back!

There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. I ordered the Short Ribs with a parsnip purée and roasted carrots and it did not disappoint. Everything paired beautifully together, perfectly salted and cooked. I finished the entire plate. Dad got the Pork Chop and while it was overcooked, he loved the flavors happening in the dish and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing treatment of the kale. The bread was soft and fresh, and everything inside tasted balanced rather than heavy or greasy. It's simple food, but done properly, which makes a big difference. Coffee was also better than I expected and worked well with the sandwich. The staff were friendly and easygoing, and even though it was fairly busy, the wait wasn't long. Overall, it's just a nice, low-key place for a casual bite. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely somewhere I'd go back to when I'm in the mood for a good sandwich and a relaxed atmosphere.

This is one of the breakfast places in Downtown San Jose that you do NOT want to miss!…read more I stumbled upon this place after the Yelp app recommended me to try -- so you know I had to give it a try. Upon entering, I loved how spacious the place was, especially with the variety of foods they had: egg sandwiches, matcha lattes, coffee, and lots more. I was fortunate enough to try their egg drop in a jar alongside bacon and cheese, and their matcha latte. Both were very delicious and had a very natural taste to them :) They had self-order kiosks but at the same time, their hospitality and customer service was on par. They were very accommodating with regards to dietary restrictions (especially when it came to the milk selections for lattes, matcha was no different). I will definitely be coming back to this place to try more! (Hint hint: I may also try their other location as well -- that to.be saved for another time)

Hey there party People…read more Decided to venture into Willow Glen today on the hunt for something new to try. Boy howdy did we hit the Mother Load with "The Table". We hit the Brunch hour and the place was rocking. We were able to sit right down amazingly. There is a fabulous patio to people watch and enjoy the California weather. Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. If you are in Willow Glen and you don't stop here you are missing out on something wonderful. Be kind to one another

When we were seated, we were given a list of items that were not available. I originally wanted to try the pancakes but ended up ordering the chicken sandwich instead. This was genuinely one of the worst chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was extremely gristly, fatty, and made with dark meat, which felt like an odd choice for a chicken sandwich. I'm not sure why this cut of chicken was used. The fries were alright, but they did not come with the sandwich and cost an additional $5. Our total came to almost $90 for three entrees with no beverages. I was especially frustrated because my sandwich was inedible. For the price and quality, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place.
