Mine is quesabirra or street tacos, my wife is a street taco fanatic. Pork pastor never disappoints, but there are a variety of options. The quesabirra had a rich flavour with a homemade smokiness that was very delicious. The prices are great. Once you know what you want over time you can order very effectively, getting plenty of tasty, shareable food at a good price. Felt like having a good carne asada plate or carnitas. Decided to give Casa Orozco a try. I know they're known for their margaritas and lively bar area. It was just me and my husband. The place wasn't that busy since it was a Wednesday evening. They walked us through a maze and sat us in a corner where I could smell the bathroom. No thanks. We got up and asked to sit at another table in a different room away from the bathroom. They happily obliged. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently. I ordered a the carne asada plate. It was a huge order. The rice was good. The beans were flavorful. The meat was edible. Sadly, I wish it was seasoned with salt or garlic or anything to give it flavor. My husband ordered a two-item combo with a shredded beef taco and a carnitas burrito. He enjoyed the taco but the carnitas burrito was lackluster. No flavor. No salt. They used to be really good! But in the past few years their in house service has gone down hill. And tonight, we ordered a super burrito and was charged a super burrito but they made it like a regular burrito and left out all the sour cream, lettuce, and guacamole. It was still good but I am just disappointed in how they have lost their attention to detail and for what they gave us they overcharged. Love this restaurant the ambience is very open family oriented, large restaurant good for a large groups and parties. It's always busy and bustling with conversation and smiles from the hostess all the way to the waitress in the waiters very professional attentive. The food is delicious. We had the shrimp quesadilla with a side of rice and beans, and a combination of pork tamale, shrimp enchilada, which was excellent by the way and a fish taco with rice and beans on the side we had the 22 ounce top shelf. I went with my family which included a kid. My son got the burrito which was pretty big, he enjoyed it and that means something because he is a picky eater. The service was pretty slow. It took them about 15 minutes to get us water. Ambiance was neutral. We enjoyed our food as well. read more

Our school Christmas party was hosted here and a lot of people said the food is good. It is good for group of people I believe we were 30 teachers here. The staff are attentive and friendly of course! We received a great service. I ordered chicken enchiladas and mango margaritas both came really good. My favorite dish here! I'm not sure why but I always here Casa not getting the best reviews but I've never had an issue here. I've been coming to casa for years and I always have a good experience! The service Is good, foods good, and it's always a good overall experience. I always get the same thing : arroz con pollo! I've had other dishes that are good but I always come back to this one! The salsa that they give you with the chips to start has a nice subtle kick to it with those thin crunchy chips that make a great start. The arroz con pollo is always great! Tender chicken with cheese and rice! How can you go wrong? The beans on the side in the tortilla shell bowl is a good side! Casa Orozco catered at my work for lunch on Monday, a variety of trays set up, different meats (beef, pork, and at least two types of chicken), crispy and soft taco shells, tortilla chips, beans, rice, veggies, and sauces. The salad ingredients were fresh, and the mixed vegetables were delicious but mainly bell peppers. The steak was okay, not bad but not memorable in any way. The chicken was really good, tender and flavorful, marinated in really great seasoning. Last night my friends and I ate here at the last minute as the place we wanted to go to eat was too far away with closing time approaching by. I wasn't going to order the barbacoa, which was the item I ordered last time, but something new. What appealed to me from the menu was the quesabirria - an item lately that I'm attracted to when I go to a Mexican eatery. When I got my quesabirria it didn't look as if the tortilla was crispy enough. The beef was tender and moist. The consommé tasted more of a salsa texture than a beefy texture. I think Casa Orozco is most worth it when you come for their lunch specials or weekly specials! Their happy hour Monday to Friday from 11:00am - 6:00pm has great deals as well and includes discounted appetizers. I had no issue in customer service or food quality as others have reviewed, but perhaps my standard was lower since the prices were cheap and it wasn't too crowded. Taco Tuesday deal (4 tacos for $9.95): The waiter let me know I could only choose two meats; they used to allow four meats but it would take the kitchen too long LOL which makes sense. I chose carnitas and carne asada, and my tacos were packed!!! My plate came with its own salsa (non-spicy), and you get a different non-spicy salsa with chips when you sit down. I would come back just for Taco Tuesday; where else in the area are you going to get a $2.50 taco? Husband and I also loved their playlist - made it a fun, festive environment and I like their decor! The last time I was up in the Hills at Hansen Park, I saw this in the neighborhood, and knew I had to do it. The Building looked Spanish like and was intriguing. Today, I'm at Casa Orozco Dublin in the East Bay on Monday. The decor looks charming in here. I went with the three Quesabirria Tacos, Birria-style Beef Tacos served with some Consommé. I like how this version got Monterey Jack Cheese in it. I can tell they took their time Braising the Beef. This Tortilla is what I'm used to for Birria Tacos. The Consommé was savory, and deep with flavor. Adding the pickled Onions, really helped it out. The Mexican rice and refried Beans was a hit. I was thinking this was going to be a 4.0-4.3 stars, but I give this 4.3 stars. read more

We dine here regularly as we live in Dublin. Taco Tuesday is always a family favorite. Happy hour during the week after a day at the office is a real treat. My go to is always the fajitas!! I recently had an early dinner at Casa Orozco on January 15th, 2026. The food was pretty good, however my waitress was not very friendly. Once seated no greeting or hello, a swift do you want anything to drink, no smile just agitation. She forgot my Coke, never asked how was our food and walked away while I was asking for to go container. And, when she returned she put the container in our chips. Had an outstanding dinner with my husband and friends last night. First my husband and I started at the bar for cocktails, chips & salsa. Roberto was friendly& had quick service! We got our chips and salsa immediately. I had a strawberry margarita and my husband tried the jalapeño & cucumber spicy margarita. Drinks were great! Roberto checked on us many times, as he made his rounds to check on everyone at the bar. He made us feel welcomed! When our friends arrived we were quickly seated at our table. Poppi was our waitress. She was also amazing! She was very patient with us, as we weren't in a hurry. She was very friendly, helpful, and quick! We all ordered another round of drinks. Food was definitely not good. The vegetarian enchilada just had large pieces of half season vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli zucchini carrots. However the green sauce was good so recommend that. The Chile Relleno unseasoned, soggy, and essentially had no flavor. The service was subpar as we were ignored for most of our evening. Would recommend asking for the spicy salsa. Tiffany was amazing this evening. Totally made our experience a five star. In the past the service has been reasonable, tonight it was phenomenal. Now, the one thing I could not get past, and why I took away 2 stars, was the overwhelming smell of Fabulouso cleaning solution. It was so strong and overpowering from the moment we walked in the door and all through the meal it made it difficult for me to enjoy my meal as I am sensitive to strong smells. While I do understand this is a "me" problem, and I should be grateful cleanliness is valued at this establishment, I would have appreciated a less perfumed cleaning solution be used. read more

This was our third time here with our good friends and service/food was as awesome as ever. Fresh made guacamole, delicious entrees, couple bottles of wine and some excellent conversation. The secret to happiness! We have a deal with our friends now that we will always split the bill half and half. No more fighting to pay. No more "I'm going to the bathroom" and slipping the server your credit card. It came to a head a couple years ago when I thought I was being sly and swift, but my friend had given the server her credit card when we sat down. Now that's some super suave shit. I nearly lost my mind in the restaurant. So now, we just split the bill like civilized adults, and nobody gets hurt. I love everything shrimp and each shrimp-forward dish has been terrific. This is my 2nd visit here even though I only live about 5 minutes away, and I couldn't really recall why I'd never visited twice until after tonight. I met a friend here for dinner and it was absolutely terrible!!! The server was very inattentive and got my friends order wrong 3 times. When my order was finally brought out it was by a busser, which means it had been sitting for a while waiting for the server to do so. How I know it was left sitting is because it was almost cold and the grilled chicken was dry as a cardboard and the guacamole had already had a brown tint to it. I tried to bear with it by adding salsa & hot sauce but nothing was able to redeem this dry/hard chicken... my friend had the chicken as well (but chopped instead of flat grilled, and his chicken was also dry as cardboard. So now I know why I'd only visited once and never returned, it's because it was terrible. also the server didn't offer to make any amends for the food arriving cold & stale and wrong!! It's been years since I've been to Casa Orozco! I used to frequent the Livermore location on the regular and always loved the vibe, drinks and menu options. Visited for a weekday lunch (1pm) and the bar was busy with about 8 tables of customers dining. This location is equally spacious (as their other location) with the various sections for dining along with a patio area. Nicely decorated with talavera pottery/artwork throughout that it transports you to dining in a hacienda far away. Items ordered: :: Caesar salad with carne asada - meat nicely seasoned and prepared :: Alteno Burrito with beef - I really appreciate a place that adds the lettuce, sour cream and guacamole on the outside vs having limp lettuce, watery sour cream and cooked guac - burrito was delicious :: Fiesta Sampler - good variety of items along with a homemade chipotle ranch dip - hit the cravings We all enjoyed the food and Claudia, our server was friendly and attentive.
