3 Al Pastor tacos -- $9 on Tuesdays & Thursdays
    Dwayne C.

Great classic street tacos after a long day. Server at the checkout desk was very helpful with price checking & was very welcoming, and they spoke Spanish. The corn flavor in their tortillas was strong, a good indicator of freshness. Their Al Pastor is more oily than I'm used to, but so full of flavor. My order also came with chips & salsa, ultimately used the salsa on the tacos though, lol. Highly recommend coming on Tuesdays or Thursdays for their $9 3-taco plate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathrooms and seating were also nice and clean inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would highly recommend to anyone craving tacos in the Dublin area.

Carne asada super burrito, al pastor super burrito- requested refried beans
    Jessica D.

We doordashed two super burritos- one carne asada and one al pastor, and requested refried beans instead of whole beans in case whole beans were the default- and we enjoyed them both. I liked the pastor and my boyfriend liked the carne asada. The tortilla was soft and stretchy and the guac and beans were good. I did wish the pastor and rice weren't as dry, though. One call out would be their salsas- skip the red but grab a bunch of the green salsas. They are thick and one of the best salsa verdes I've ever had. Decent Mexican food is hard to find in our tri-city area and this is not bad.

Al Pastor (left), chorizo (right cut off). Mango agua Fresca
    Rimi S.

I loved the $3 tacos . We got the Al Pastor and chorizo meats. Flan is alright, mango agua Fresca is alright (tastes of fake mango). The free salsa tasted odd (not sure if they messed up salsa, but tasted old) I'd expect a Mexican place compared to non-Mexican to have a solid salsa. Overall giving 5 stars because I'd come back again for them tacos

Came on taco Tuesday for $8 for three tacos. Was unimpressed by their quality and flavor. Mediocre and not worth coming back to.

I just learned today that BT2 just opened in Castro Valley which is my home base. I saw two reviews which were 5 star ones 16 days ago. I am excited to try their new location and meet the staff. Their location is not visible From the main streets so you have to know it's there or happen to pass through the shopping parking lot. If I would have known I would have been present opening day. Just a suggestion maybe put a sign up at your original location about BT2. I can't wait to try it.

The asada tacos were easily the highlight--solid 8/10 and definitely the "hit" of the meal. The carnitas were decent (around a 5 or 6), and while the salsa verde was good, the other salsas lacked a deep, authentic sabor. However, as a Mexican who knows my beans, the refried beans were a major disappointment. They tasted like they came straight from a can and had a strange oil flavor that just didn't sit right. Pro Tip: Ask for extra lime and cilantro. They tend to go heavy on the onions but light on the greens. Their Chile de Árbol is great, but you'll need at least 4 or 5 limes to really bring the flavors out! the customer service was a 10/10 :) thanks ladies

The Food: Street Food Double: The chutneys were incredibly flavorful, pairing perfectly with the well-cooked chickpeas. The bara pockets were wonderfully soft and delicious. Beef Patties: The pastry was beautifully crisp and savory. The spiced short rib filling was a total delight--it had a nice kick to it without being overly spicy, which I loved. Oxtail Stew: Generous portion size with plenty of chunky meat that literally falls off the bone. It was perfectly marinated in a great blend of spices. Pairing the stew with a side of their coconut rice is highly recommended! Banana Bread Pudding: Having heard so much hype about this, it was just alright for me. It was cooked perfectly and I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, but it lacked a real wow factor. The Drinks: Red Wine Sangria: Really nice, refreshing, and fruity. Chase The Devil: Fun to try if you want something different, and it has a decent kick, but I would probably skip it next time. The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating. On top of that, the servers are friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Definitely worth a visit!

And you can't go wrong with Mexican food so I decided to just go next door to Don Chepe. I went around 2pm and it wasn't busy at all. The cashier was super nice. I ordered the enchilada plate and a horchata. I initially thought it was kind of pricey at first. But my goodness! Look at the size of the plate! So, I ordered my usual fish taco and shrimp taco with a Corona at the counter. There is a small chips and salsa bar next to the counter. Oddly, they provide VERY small paper bags to hold a few chips. That wasn't going to work for two hungry adults so I asked for a basket. That turned out to be an awkward ordeal. The owner/ manager ( not sure who) made kind of big deal about how "special" I am to be the only customer who gets a basket. We both thought it was awkward and rude at the same time lol. They have two small rooms to sit at a table. The tv was turned up when we were half way through the meal. It was much too loud for the small space. Another weird event. We couldn't wait to leave. Outdoor seating? There are a few small tables in the front of the restaurant, but the road noise was too loud for that option. Impressions The tacos were bland and unappetizing. I was very surprised how they lacked flavor. My husband had some kind of ala carte plate. He loves Mexican food! It was a disappointing meal for both of us. Suggestions The customer is the focus so you earn return visits. I think that was lost to the staff on this particular day. It's not a big deal to offer a bowl or basket for chips. If you have customers, especially who aren't watching tv, turning the volume up for the employees to hear is not going to make a good impression.
