I don't write many reviews, but Taqueria Los Pericos absolutely deserves one. I ordered the chile verde, and without exaggeration, it was the best chile verde I've ever had in my life. The pork was incredibly tender, the sauce was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. Every bite tasted homemade and packed with authentic flavor. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh and hot, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. I've eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants over the years, and Taqueria Los Pericos stands out as something special. If you're anywhere near Dublin and wondering where to eat, do yourself a favor and stop here. The chile verde alone is worth the trip. Five stars isn't enough. It's been a while since we've gone out for Mexican food. Since our last disappointing visit to Dublin taqueria, we really didn't have any other options for Mexican food besides Taco Bell near us. Fortunately, a brisk 10 minute drive over to los pericos is definitely where it is at. It's conveniently located in a plaza that doesn't get much traffic so it's pretty easy to find parking. The only busy spot in the whole plaza is los pericos. Upon entering, we were 5th in line to order and with bout 2-3 spots left to dine in. We ordered the super burrito and wet burrito both with al pastor. The prices are more than fair for what you pay for and it comes with bottomless chips and salsa (15-16 usd per burrito). Overall, los pericos is one of the best places to get Mexican food in Dublin. Definitely worth the visit if you're hungry for Mexican food! read more

My favorite taqueria in Dublin. The portions are always massive. There's plenty of seating in the front and the back of the restaurant. Large parking lot. Good to eat there and good to go. I am so happy I did not judge them for their location. I assumed there could not be GOOD mexican food in Dublin, but boy was I wrong. My husband pushed me to get it on a sunday afternoon after church, and I am so glad he did. When we walked in, they were busy, so we took some time to look at the menu. The location is small, so I was standing next to people eating, and I saw someone had caldo de camaron, which looked delicious. Due to pricing, I decided to go with the Pozole (small). My kids always want quesadilla with rice and beans (no meat). They had a super quesadilla, just cheese, so we got them that with a side of rice and beans for them to split. The portions were perfect for my big boys. My husband got enchiladas rojas with asada. He loved the taste on all of it, but next time would probably get double rice, no beans. He's not a fan of beans, so it's just a personal preference. I got the STAR of the show, their POZOLE was 10/10. They brought it out before I could even get my drink, they were so fast. They didn't just bring the pozole, they gave me the works: oregano, chili oil, tostadas, radish, and cabbage to put on it. It was so delicious, I'm already planning to go back next sunday! My kids and I loved the food so much my 7yo made sure to leave a tip. Service was quick, friendly, and they kept the location as clean as they could. It was really busy in there.e but they got the food out within minutes. LOVE THIS PLACE. Edit: we loved it so much we went back this past Saturday and got more things to try. Came here based on reviews since we were in the area. It was well worth it. It was busier than I expected for 4:30pm, but I understand this place can get packed. The decor is a mix of Taqueria and retro-burger joint. I love that almost every table is a booth. The service was fast and you order at a window before finding a table. The salsa bar is also great. The tacos were awesome. Finely chopped meat that is cooked and seasoned to crispy perfection. They're also bigger than your average street taco. My wife enjoyed her veggie tostadas. My daughter loved the enchiladas and the bites she stole of my tacos. One standout to me was the refried beans. I had a bean cheese and rice burrito and it's one of the better ones I've ever had. Still the favorite Mexican food spot in the area. The workers are always helpful and friendly. They're always busy. But, my corkers and I are able find a table when dining in. Especially in the back and it's not as loud as in the front. Came here for lunch and finally tried their carne asada super quesadilla. Full of ingredients and it was huge. I've been to Taqueria Los Pericos a few times and tried their carne asada burrito and various tacos which are pretty standard. Place is bustling with the locals and popular as portions are generous and offer a salsa/condiment bar. I love options! Tables available for dine in and no nonsense and casual. Order at the counter and food brought out. Overall, food decent for basic Mexican fare and would visit for other items. Unfortunately, doesn't satisfy my burrito craves. Los Pericos has been here FOREVER and it's usually pretty busy with eat-in and take out orders. Pretty decent menu and the portions sizes are good too. In my picture, you see it's a full plate. Stack on unlimited free chips and salsa, you get full. I'll say sometimes it's hit or miss on the food though. A couple times my chile was not cooked enough and the cheese was cold and not melted. These specific experiences were about a year or two ago. We came here last Friday around 6:30 and only waited 10 min to order and our food was ready in another 5 minutes. Been eating here for over 25 years and every year it seems the food quality goes down and the prices go up. I paid $35 for a chicken quesadilla and a super burrito. Both items were terrible. The quesadilla was a lot of chicken, almost no cheese, and rolled like a burrito. The chicken was grilled but honestly had the texture of boiled, the burrito was inedible and soaking wet. I brought it home and tried to salvage it by crisping up the tortilla in a pan, but even the filling was gross. After 25 years this will be my last time eating here. My favorite taqueria in Dublin. The service is always friendly and food delivery quick. The self serve chips and salsa bar is second to none. Plenty of choices of salsa, lime and radishes for anyone's desires. My super burrito wrapped tightly filled generously with al pastor, beans, sour cream and guacamole. Year after year, this is my very favorite Mexican restauran. The people that work there are great. The service is excellent. The food is beyond compare. These tacos were pretty good. I love the fact that they had a taco bar that provided all of your toppings. I didn't realize how big they were and accidentally ordered three when I more than likely could've settled for two. They give you a good amount of meatand I put cheese on top of mine. The Carne Asada was definitely flavorful and tender. I only complain while I was eating was hearing someone butcher frozen chicken on the cutting board in the back so it was a bit noisy but other than that the tacos were good. read more

If we're comparing it to other Mexican places, there aren't many choices in the nearby area. I know you can get better Mexican food if you go a little out of the way, but this is the closest taqueria, or at least one of the closest, to me, and I can say I never leave dissatisfied. There's nothing very, very special about this place, but it's definitely not bad and it will satisfy you. The portions are generous, and I like that if you're eating inside, you can take as many chips as you want. It's not some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, but I would come back. Kiddo wanted an horchata so I ordered a caldo de res also. The restaurant is in the same plaza as Ace and they had plenty of parking. I walked in when no one was in line so I was greeted and ordered right away. I was given a cup to get my drink, which was very convenient. Me and my bby were super hungry and was in the area. We were in the mood for Mexican food and stumbled across this place. We were a bit hesitant since we weren't sure if we would be satisfied based on the location. We were greeted right away and can sit wherever we wanted. He had to place our order at the register and they gave us a number and they would bring the food out to us. I was craving something spicy so I got camarones a la diabla and my bby got a wet red burrito. The food was ok nothing too crazy for us. It was quite busy on a Sunday night at 9pm, but we realized it opens till 11pm so that is nice. You order at the counter and then they will deliver the food to your table. The worker was pleasant and helpful with helping us find a table because we thought it was so full. (There were also a lot of tables that needed to be cleaned/bussed) But he ensured there are extra tables in the back! There is a chips and salsa bar. The chips however were a lot of broken up pieces so that was sad. But the salsa was delicious. I love the orange salsa. Nice kick to it. I ordered two asada tacos. Wow, I was surprised with how much meat they put on it! Quite pleased. Worth the $3.50. My partner ordered a torta and he said he really enjoyed it. Lots of flavor and was very filling. Visited on a Sunday, little bit of a late lunch but still during the lunch rush. Talk about busy! The gentleman that took our order was quick & multitasking with phone orders as well, the gal that brought our food to the table was friendly and even brought our drink cups when we didn't get them when he took our order. We ordered a chicken asado taco salad, wet super chicken asado burrito and two pescado tacos. I was excited they served pescado since it wasn't on their list of meats. I am not a particularly big fan of their carne Asada but their Pollo is excellent the super quesadilla is phenomenal and I love their nachos everybody here is very friendly and I feel welcome and attended to when I eat in. The ambience is fairly standard some cute touch touches here in there but the dining area is mostly firm benches which are comfortable but not outstanding. I am adding to the review by noting that I had some gentleman at my home performing some work, and they very excitedly discussed the prospect of going here for lunch. My fiancé and I stopped here for a quick lunch while traveling back home to SoCal. The location has a lot of seating and easy parking. He ordered a breakfast burrito and I had carne asada tacos! Their carne asada was delicious and they added a lot meat into their tacos which is a big plus! I liked their self serve station for chips and salsa! Speaking of chips and salsa, their salsa was delicious! It wasn't too watered down, fresh, and had the perfect level of spiciness. We ordered a horchata which was just okay! My fiancé did order a cup of coffee thinking they may have a pot of coffee in the back but found that it wasn't just an instant machine on the side and did have some trouble with that. The machine seemed to not have been working in a while but the staff was nice and tried to help. We decided it was okay since the coffee didn't cost much and went elsewhere for coffee instead!
