I was looking for a Mexican restaurant nearby, and this one came up on top. My family and I visited on a Tuesday evening around 5 PM, there was no line when we arrived, but it quickly built up after us. We ordered a chile relleno and a chicken fajitas plate. They gave us two cups of free tortillas, a self-serve, generously stocked salsa bar. The food came out pretty quickly, and that's when we realized just how much we ordered! Plates were huge and both the dishes came with beans and rice. The fajitas plate was $20.88 and could easily serve two people, it came with sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, tomato slice, meat and veggies, and beans and rice. The chile relleno wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped, since it was drenched in sauce, but it did have a nice cheese pull. I noticed a lot of people getting takeout, and next time, I think I will do the same. read more

I'm sorry, but we all were not very impressed with the burritos. No avocado in two of them, nor the sour cream...seriously, why did we pay for a super burrito, then?!? My husbands Al pastore had no flavor to the pork, and one side was all rice. Disappointed at the lack of even distribution. When I look at the pictures in this site, I wished I would have gotten a different chef It is a heavy burrito, just wish they all were made correctly, or better. It's been a while since we've gone out for Mexican food. Since our last disappointing visit to Dublin taqueria, we really didn't have any other options for Mexican food besides Taco Bell near us. Fortunately, a brisk 10 minute drive over to los pericos is definitely where it is at. It's conveniently located in a plaza that doesn't get much traffic so it's pretty easy to find parking. The only busy spot in the whole plaza is los pericos. Upon entering, we were 5th in line to order and with bout 2-3 spots left to dine in. We ordered the super burrito and wet burrito both with al pastor. The prices are more than fair for what you pay for and it comes with bottomless chips and salsa (15-16 usd per burrito). Overall, los pericos is one of the best places to get Mexican food in Dublin. Definitely worth the visit if you're hungry for Mexican food! read more

Great authentic Mexican food in an old strip center. Free fresh chips and salsa with many salsa choices for every type of spice! My BF had a carne asada quesadilla. It was big, filling and delish while I had the enchilada meal. The best rice and tender, juicy and flavorful shredded chicken enchiladas I've had in a while. Service was fast and friendly. I haven't been for quite a long time because I moved away, but we went today for a birthday lunch and you know what it's still amazing! The food is so good and so authentic we had a chicken burrito and I had the super nachos and everything was incredible. I love that. They have pico de gallo self service. The service there is always nice. I feel like it's always the same guy for the past 20 years and he's really nice. The ambience is like every walk of life. I mean, you see people who work construction you see people who are probably teachers at Dublin high you see little families I mean there is just everybody. I love this place. read more

I am so happy I did not judge them for their location. I assumed there could not be GOOD mexican food in Dublin, but boy was I wrong. My husband pushed me to get it on a sunday afternoon after church, and I am so glad he did. When we walked in, they were busy, so we took some time to look at the menu. The location is small, so I was standing next to people eating, and I saw someone had caldo de camaron, which looked delicious. Due to pricing, I decided to go with the Pozole (small). My kids always want quesadilla with rice and beans (no meat). They had a super quesadilla, just cheese, so we got them that with a side of rice and beans for them to split. The portions were perfect for my big boys. My husband got enchiladas rojas with asada. He loved the taste on all of it, but next time would probably get double rice, no beans. He's not a fan of beans, so it's just a personal preference. I got the STAR of the show, their POZOLE was 10/10. They brought it out before I could even get my drink, they were so fast. They didn't just bring the pozole, they gave me the works: oregano, chili oil, tostadas, radish, and cabbage to put on it. It was so delicious, I'm already planning to go back next sunday! My kids and I loved the food so much my 7yo made sure to leave a tip. Service was quick, friendly, and they kept the location as clean as they could. Came here based on reviews since we were in the area. It was well worth it. It was busier than I expected for 4:30pm, but I understand this place can get packed. The decor is a mix of Taqueria and retro-burger joint. I love that almost every table is a booth. The service was fast and you order at a window before finding a table. The salsa bar is also great. The tacos were awesome. Finely chopped meat that is cooked and seasoned to crispy perfection. They're also bigger than your average street taco. My wife enjoyed her veggie tostadas. My daughter loved the enchiladas and the bites she stole of my tacos. One standout to me was the refried beans. I had a bean cheese and rice burrito and it's one of the better ones I've ever had. Place is bustling with the locals and popular as portions are generous and offer a salsa/condiment bar. I love options! Tables available for dine in and no nonsense and casual. Order at the counter and food brought out. Overall, food decent for basic Mexican fare and would visit for other items. Unfortunately, doesn't satisfy my burrito craves. This USED to be our favorite Mexican restaurant for years. I spent $98 on dinner for 8 people (2 people per burrito becuase they're huge) and two other plates. Issue was at the salsa bar. I didn't want to hold up the line so I'd let people with less get salsa in between me filling it up. There was a guy that filled up a paper chip tray with salsa. Then another guy that put the salsa directly into a empty white plastic container that they put burritos in - and nobody said anything to them! Maybe that was my bad for using the actual containers they provided for salsa instead of something else. Another lady even got aluminum foil for her radishes and peppers. I got about 18-20 small containers of salsa for three burritos and two plates - comes out to 2-3 small containers of salsa for each plate. I think most people can say they eat more than 2-3 of those small containers for a huge burrito. I had so much food, I dropped it off in the car (took it to go), then went back in with a trader joe bag (for structure so the salsa wouldn't spill). So I was there for a more than I'd Iike. The guy cooking WALKED out to where I was and asked what I ordered, put his hand in my bag to look for the food/receipt. As if I was stealing salsa WTF! I told him I put it in the car because there was no room to put it down because all the tables were full. I had two receipts, he only saw my add on order for one item. I transferred all the food to one bag to put in the car so it was an empty bag with a receipt. Anyways, I added three radishes and one pepper to the bag and left. I could see him from the corner of my eye watching me wth. I will never give my money/support this restaurant again after being treated like this. Even the lady at the register had to check how much I ordered to "justify" 8 small bags of chips becuase I didn't want to fill it up myself with the trays - and it was justified and she gave it to me. All that guy that checked my bag had to do was ask her what I ordered. Very unprofessional. The food is okay but the portions are healthy, but with this experience, there are more respectful places I'd love to support. I didn't like being scrutinized for getting salsa for 8 people, especially after giving them about $100. If they're going to be stingy about chips and salsa, make it an option for customers to buy it so nobody else has to have the same unpleasant experience. read more

Very bad experience- I had a phone order, as soon as I walk in I hear a bunch of remarks coming from the kitchen in Spanish. I receive my food and proceed to get salsas and the kitchen staff started speaking all kinds of ridiculous gestures in Spanish. Will never be back. I'd give it a negative 0 stars. Los Pericos has been here FOREVER and it's usually pretty busy with eat-in and take out orders. Pretty decent menu and the portions sizes are good too. In my picture, you see it's a full plate. Stack on unlimited free chips and salsa, you get full. I'll say sometimes it's hit or miss on the food though. A couple times my chile was not cooked enough and the cheese was cold and not melted. These specific experiences were about a year or two ago. We came here last Friday around 6:30 and only waited 10 min to order and our food was ready in another 5 minutes. I don't write many reviews, but Taqueria Los Pericos absolutely deserves one. I ordered the chile verde, and without exaggeration, it was the best chile verde I've ever had in my life. The pork was incredibly tender, the sauce was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. Every bite tasted homemade and packed with authentic flavor. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh and hot, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. These tacos were pretty good. I love the fact that they had a taco bar that provided all of your toppings. I didn't realize how big they were and accidentally ordered three when I more than likely could've settled for two. They give you a good amount of meatand I put cheese on top of mine. The Carne Asada was definitely flavorful and tender. The super burrito with Chile Verde is delicious but sometimes I'll get a Chile relleno in it instead and it's AMAZING! Staff is always friendly and they work quick. On 08/31/2026, I was here with my family member who has a small medical alert dog/service animal which she had brought with us. Upon ordering, the cashier asked for a "card" referring to service animal card. By law, a business can only ask if it is a service animal and what service it provides, nothing more. Moreover, there is no requirement to have any ID card indicating it's a service animal. I explained this to the cashier in which he still refused service. Stopped by this little taqueria during a soccer tournament. It's located in a small shopping center and the interior is definitely a little run-down with older booths. There's additional seating in the back. They have a variety of salsas and chips at the salsa bar and the portions are HUGE. Kiddo wanted an horchata so I ordered a caldo de res also. The restaurant is in the same plaza as Ace and they had plenty of parking. I walked in when no one was in line so I was greeted and ordered right away. I was given a cup to get my drink, which was very convenient. Me and my bby were super hungry and was in the area. We were in the mood for Mexican food and stumbled across this place. We were a bit hesitant since we weren't sure if we would be satisfied based on the location. We were greeted right away and can sit wherever we wanted. He had to place our order at the register and they gave us a number and they would bring the food out to us. I was craving something spicy so I got camarones a la diabla and my bby got a wet red burrito. The food was ok nothing too crazy for us. If we're comparing it to other Mexican places, there aren't many choices in the nearby area. I know you can get better Mexican food if you go a little out of the way, but this is the closest taqueria, or at least one of the closest, to me, and I can say I never leave dissatisfied. There's nothing very, very special about this place, but it's definitely not bad and it will satisfy you. The portions are generous, and I like that if you're eating inside, you can take as many chips as you want. It's not some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, but I would come back. It was quite busy on a Sunday night at 9pm, but we realized it opens till 11pm so that is nice. You order at the counter and then they will deliver the food to your table. The worker was pleasant and helpful with helping us find a table because we thought it was so full. (There were also a lot of tables that needed to be cleaned/bussed) But he ensured there are extra tables in the back! There is a chips and salsa bar. The chips however were a lot of broken up pieces so that was sad. But the salsa was delicious. I love the orange salsa. Nice kick to it. I ordered two asada tacos. Wow, I was surprised with how much meat they put on it! Quite pleased. Worth the $3.50. My partner ordered a torta and he said he really enjoyed it. Lots of flavor and was very filling. The food is always great, but the service is bad. My problem if you go to pick up your order. They make you wait on line knowing food is under the heat lamp. Second problem is they always have stale chips and hard as a rock. For this reason i is give them a lower star. The gentleman that took our order was quick & multitasking with phone orders as well, the gal that brought our food to the table was friendly and even brought our drink cups when we didn't get them when he took our order.
