    Burrito en mole (with chicken)
    Brian V.

Multiple members of my family love this place and I can see why. The last time I was here we got some burritos to go and I got a mole burrito. As expected, the service here was friendly and quick. Rather than order takeout, we actually had a meal inside this time. Their vibe is a cozy neighborhood spot, that's great for groups of all sizes. I was really tempted to order a lot of the different items on their pretty large menu, but I've been on a health kick so I wanted to try their healthy burrito. This comes with lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and rice and beans. I used a good amount of their salsa from their self-service salsa bar. I thought the burrito was tasty and it felt a lot healthier. Even though next time, I'll probably get one of their more indulgent selections lol Parking isn't an issue as they have a pretty large lot allocated to the shops in the shopping center

I parked to do some grocery shopping with the family but we haven't had lunch. We saw Bronzes from the parking lot and decided to give them a try. Very clean. Decent amount of tables for parties of 4 or 6. They serve you a big bowl of chips and 2 kinds of salsa (red and green). The staff is friendly and kind. The menu is loaded with different kinds of dishes: breakfast, tacos, burritos, plates, salads, combos, soups, mariscos, etc. More than your typical meat options. They have lengua, al pastor, and birria. The carnitas is really good!! We ordered a large horchata and it came in a giant quart size beer mug! Yeah!!! We ordered: Crispy tacos - the shells are freshly made! No stale taco shells here. Chimichanga with a side of beans and rice. Portions were moderate. The chimichanga was huge. Don't know how my son put that away! Everything was delicious. I'd come back.

Favorite fish tacos in the area!! My tacos were overflowing with fish and it goes well with the pico. Chips were also tasty, not very oily.

Tostada Camaron Pulpo and carne asada tacos

I wanted to try a new spot for Mexican food in the Dublin/Pleasanton area and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is here. I order the tostada Cameron pulpo and everything about it was perfect - the presentation, quality of ingredients, and taste! Definitely the best Mexican food with seafood that I've tried to this day. My husband ordered carne asada tacos and they were good too. If I had to be really picky, the only downside was that their chips do not seem like the freshly made kind. Otherwise, everything else was great! Taste is definitely 5/5!

    Grand opening in Castro valley

FOOD IS FIRE authentic, flavorful, asada, lengua and al postor tacos are so goooood. We went on 6/7/26 at 3:30 PM, they had a grand opening at the Castro Valley location. You definitely need to check it out if you're looking for something authentic. Great price and generous portions

    Quesadilla Harina Birria

I have never had birria before but decided to try their Quesadilla Harina Birria. It was just delicious - the meat was so tender and steeped with great flavor. There are two on a plate and it comes with the consomé. This is going to be one of my go to comfort foods for sure. This place is nestled within a shopping center so plenty of parking. It is a great place to hang out and catch the latest sports. The staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes as they have quite an extensive menu.

Quesabirria Tacos, Rice & Refried Beans
    Veronica J.

This was my first time here. It's in a strip mall but I never let location sidetrack me from the food lol. The Chile Verde was tender, tasty and full of flavor. The Quesabirria tacos were a little different, as the tortillas weren't as orange colored or crispy as I've had before but the flavor was delicious and didn't disappoint. The rice was fluffy and not overcooked. The Refried Beans were silky, and flavorful. The chips were freshly made and it was the first time I've been to a Mexican restaurant and liked the green salsa better than the red. The red was good but if they added a little more lime, I think it would bring it up a notch, but even that wasn't enough for me to take away a star. The service was also courteous, friendly and timely. If you live nearby, 30 mins away or passing through Pleasanton this place is DEFINITELY worth the stop.

Tacos de: tripas, carnitas, buche and al pastor
    Lizelle M.

Delicious and generous tacos! The taqueria is inviting and very clean! Friendly and fast service. Good salsa bar and chips. It's hard to find a spot that cooks tripas well and they do a great job. The carnitas and al pastor is yummy too. I'd come back here for sure when in the area.

I wouldn't expect traditional Mexican food coming here because it's definitely more of a Cal-Mex fusion! The presentation, ingredients, ways of preparing are different and I love that :) Asada Fries ($25): I enjoyed this much more than I expected, and I thought I would bring some home...I didn't. The ranch and BBQ sauce surprised me, but the flavor profile worked! Also loved the shape of the sidewinder fries, kind of like c-shaped wedges. Crispy Plantains ($14): I enjoyed these dipped in sour cream! It came with a lot, so I would for sure save some to eat with vanilla ice cream at home :) My friend got a side of black beans ($8) with it which she said was okay; I think she was thrown off by them being drowned in water lol Our server was lovely even as the evening got busier. They even split the meal onto two separate plates for us. The food was reasonable priced, around 20-25 per dish. As our organizer mentioned, they were fully booked that night so do reserve early. Warm earthy tones in the decor made for a comfortable, inviting atmosphere and the light jazz ensemble and lovely vocal performances elevated the evening's experience. The ambiance is a strong point. Being a paella newbie, I definitely looked forward to tasting a version especially after watching cooking shows over the years. The saffron broth rice nicely counterbalanced the seasoned shrimp, sausage and other ingredients. Thumbs up. I had several portions. The tempura cauliflower - good. KR Enchiladas were cheesey and rich, plumply filled, and the accompanied rice accented with corn. Since we shared the three enchiladas, my small piece was enough for me. Suggest passing on the sourdough side that came with the paella. The bread had melted, but cooled cheese on it and there was not much free broth in the paella to soak therewith anyway. With water being the group's primary beverage, perhaps request a carafe of water at the table to ease the thirstier folks (me). Our wait person gave helpful suggestions and efficient service. The rest of the staff had hustle. As normal with live music, be prepared to raise your voice and repeat yourself in conversations. So, I ordered my usual fish taco and shrimp taco with a Corona at the counter. There is a small chips and salsa bar next to the counter. Oddly, they provide VERY small paper bags to hold a few chips. That wasn't going to work for two hungry adults so I asked for a basket. That turned out to be an awkward ordeal. The owner/ manager ( not sure who) made kind of big deal about how "special" I am to be the only customer who gets a basket. We both thought it was awkward and rude at the same time lol. They have two small rooms to sit at a table. The tv was turned up when we were half way through the meal. It was much too loud for the small space. Another weird event. We couldn't wait to leave. Outdoor seating? There are a few small tables in the front of the restaurant, but the road noise was too loud for that option. Impressions The tacos were bland and unappetizing. I was very surprised how they lacked flavor. My husband had some kind of ala carte plate. He loves Mexican food! It was a disappointing meal for both of us. Suggestions The customer is the focus so you earn return visits. I think that was lost to the staff on this particular day. It's not a big deal to offer a bowl or basket for chips. If you have customers, especially who aren't watching tv, turning the volume up for the employees to hear is not going to make a good impression.
