Stopped by on Sunday morning and the place was packed. You order at the front and then seat yourself. I ordered chilaquiles rojos with carne asada, large menudo, pancakes to share and cafe de olla. The chilaquiles definitely had a good kick to them. The coffee was quite delicious as well. Unfortunately the menudo was very disappointing. The broth lacked overall flavor and salt. The meat was also chewy which is the most crucial part. The pancakes were thin and had a good chew but also lacked that familiar sweetness to them, just a bit bland. They were quite slammed so I won't knock them for the delay in getting half our order out 30 minutes apart. The pricing is also quite affordable. read more

Great service, AMAZING FOOD. As a mexican, I can say with full confidence they had the best green chilaquiles I've ever had. I took them to go and ate them when I got home 30 min later. Still the best thing ever. I can't imagine if I ate them warm and fresh inside the restaurant. Also, the horchata was SOOOO good. It's made fresh by one of the ladies in the restaurant. I've never had horchata made with banana before and I feel like my life is changed LOL. I believe the restaurant is woman owned. I had lunch here a few months ago and I haven't been able to stop thinking about the carne asada burrito I had there. It was sooo tasty, what I would call a "technically" perfect burrito bc every single part of it was just delicious. The service was great, the staff lady was super friendly and helpful and I really appreciated her being there. Ambiance wise, it's a smallish family restaurant and I felt so at home being there. I went to the restaurant for lunch today. You order from the counter. The staff was very friendly and helpful and answered all the questions I had. I ordered a wet burrito. I did not know what type of sauce I wanted so they put both green and red sauces on the side so I could try each. Before my meal was brought out they brought me bean and tortilla chips. This was a nice touch. Overall, I thought the burrito was ok. I thought it should have been bigger and fuller. Both sauces had a slight kick to them. Overall, I thought the service was very good but just was a little disappointed that the burrito was not larger. read more

I'm so happy Casa Rosita's is opened for business and I can finally enjoy my favorite Mexican dishes regularly. Even though it's a new restaurant, the recipes and flavors go back more than a decade. On opening day, I specifically ordered my favorite chilaquiles rojos. So crispy and spicy, just how I like them. The cafe de olla had a perfect spicy sweetness yet bold taste, so happy they gave me a refill. The restaurant ambiance is great for a family outing on a weekday or weekend. Overall, the service was great and the staff is sooo sweet and friendly. If you enjoy a quality meal from a family-owned restaurant at a great price, Casa Rosita's will not disappoint. Short and Simple food stop with the family here for an early dinner. It was good. I'm not sure how the value compares to others like it, but I would guess that the prices were reasonable enough. The food came quick, tasted as one might expect a good burrito/taco/salad, and there were no points taken off for presentation. The woman working the front counter was amiable as well. I can't off much in the ways of comment on the ambience because I suspect that at the hour we went, we were firmly in between rushes, but it was a clean place and I could tell that at least one of the tables being served there was intimately acquainted with the staff and restaurant, which is a great sign of a great place, if you ask me.
