This is a great place if you want classic Cuban food. I really enjoyed their chicken croquetas. They were nice and crispy and also filled with a lot of chicken, which is a plus. I tried a little bit of everything from the Paloma steak which had a nice crispy texture. The lechon on pan was delicious but filling so beware! The arroz con pollo had a creamy soup like texture filled packed with flavor. The last dish we shared was pan fried Lechon with onions, it wasn't my favorite dish, but still flavorful. You can never go wrong with a side of rice and beans and we also ordered a side of yucca. The server was super helpful and very attentive. I will note that the bathrooms were not the cleanest. Overall, this is a great place to enjoy a good atmosphere, good drinks, and plenty of Cuban favorites on the menu. read more

I had not been here in a while but I ordered food online and it was just a disaster. Long story short I did not get my food. I tried calling them to let them know and they didn't pick up the phone anymore. Basically stole my money. Now I have to file a dispute with my credit card company. This trip, I selected the lunch special which essentially is a three course meal for just $22 bucks. The stuffed chicken resembles a cordon-bleu, however imagined a chef inspired cordon-bleu, the dish is anything but regular. Not to mention the portions are massive, lunch turned into dinner. I will say the portions are massive! We also ordered Fish Chicharones for appetizers. We could not finish everything because of the sheer size of the dishes. WoW. Cuban food. This place rocks, no wonder it is so popular. They have a separate menu for their Miami Spice months. But I got to peak at their regular menu and there's nothing regular about it. It is vast. There are so many options. Beef, Pork, Seafood.. Combinations. Make sure you save some room for dessert also! Don't forget the cafe. It might take the rest of my lifetime to try a little bit of everything from there. First they start you out with a basket of mini cuban breads. It's a trap. Only eat 1 and save yourself for the rest of your meal. I ate three and I could not make it to dessert. In this Miami Spice, drinks were included. We opted for their Naturale Juices. The mango and passion fruit were so good. Not too sweet either but bright. So good! For apps, I tried their Croquetas Basket which came with 2 Ham, 2 Chorizo, and 2 Chicken croquetas. Delish. I took a ham croqueta and smushed it in one of those cuban breads to make a mini croqueta sandwich - try it. We also got the Maraquitas - a classic staple. The garlic oil that comes with it is garlicky and salty, so good. For entree, I got the Arroz Imperial which to me is a delicacy because I don't have it often. It's literally rice and mayonaise with chicken, but this version came with ham. Then, there's a thick top layer of cheese that's been baked. It is a carbohydrate heaven. So good. We also got to sample the Fish Chicharrones which isn't crispy like the chips - but moreover like a fried fish. It comes with an side of rice, so we paired it with black rice and beans. YUM. The service was top notch and our waiter (Osvaldo) was very friendly. The ambiance was actually very pleasant. The last couple of times we went, it was very busy and loud. Kevin our waiter was really nice, detailed, and helpful. He explained the menu well and gave suggestions. Kevin made sure we had everything we needed and checked on use throughout the dinner. I find this restaurant on the Miami Spice website. The dinner was $45, which included a drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert. I had the shrimp for appetizer and salmon for the entree. The lunch special is worth the visit and not to mention their famous guava Bbq sauce. The service was great with Harry our server but the front desk could have been a bit more welcoming. On a Saturday afternoon we were told we would have a 30 min wait as the location was packed but it was only 10 minutes. The restaurant has a clean white classic look with wood shutters. Tables mainly for 4 people or more and there is a bar to wait or enjoy. The parking can be difficult as it has 2 small parking areas one on each side. Came here for a work lunch to welcome a new team member, we made reservations to make sure we could get a table during any lunch rushes. When entering, the front desk seems like it is mainly for pickup, take out, the lady told us to go inside the main dining room to the bar area to advise we had a reservation. It was a huge honker of a sandwich, thick in all the right places, almost a footlong, comes with a choice of a side. It was pretty darn good, egg was runny to moisturize the meat, only was able to eat half of it. Definitely a 2-meal sandwich! My coworkers pretty much stuck to some classics with vaca frita, ropa vieja, chimichurri chicken etc. They all seemed to enjoy their meals too and also were only able to eat about half of their meal. Portions are pretty large! No room but they have a pretty wide selection of desserts, all looked pretty good to me and may be worth getting next time. Overall, food tasted good, service was fine, prices are about what we thought it would be. A lot of people I spoke with gave high marks for this place, glad we came by to check it out, will be on the radar for next time. I'm going to be honest. I'm unsure if we had a good representation of their food since we arrived one hour before closing. Our Uber driver and a local store manager both recommended Havana Harry's so we were excited to try it. We decided to get a variety of items. The Marquitos Ole were very good. The cheese dip was nice. The croquettes were fine. Chorizo was the best of the three. Of the main dishes, the Arroz Imperial was the star. First of all, it's huge and could be easily shared with a table full of people. Good flavors. The Cuban sandwich had very little mustard, no pickles and dry pork. The tostones also contained overcooked/dry meat. Again, I'm hoping it was because it was the end of the day, but not a good way to make an impression. Last, they recommended a soup to my husband. We didn't catch the name. It was completely white and looked like a bowl of white gravy. Zero flavor. There were chunks of something. Couldn't recognize it. By looking at the menu, it was Cream of Malanga, which states that it includes garlic. We tasted no garlic. The inside of the restaurant was fine. No complaints. I can't believe I had been sleeping on coming to Havana Harry's for the longest. Portions are huge, and the food is delicious and affordable. They have a massive dessert selection, which I love. Their smoothie and drinks are very tasty and filling too. They serve you with warm bread, but sometimes you do have to ask for it as they don't always provide it. Mojito chicken is one of my favorite dishes. Sometimes it can be sold out by the evening service so come early for it if you are craving it. Ambiance is casual but nice. Their dining room is very big, but their parking lot is not. They have two areas to park, and it is free. Across the street, they have a few pay by phone parking spots. I like to visit during low key hours to ensure I have no problems. Service is friendly and casual, too. This place is definitely a staple. The white sangria and old fashioned were both great. The mariquitas with beef and cheese were amazing and unlike anything we have ever had.
