Terrible experience! Brought my car in for check engine light + mechanical locks malfunctioning,…read moreended up being upsold from initial quote of $1,100 to $2,300- and they didn't even fix those problems. So I had to come back and pay ANOTHER $300. Not to mention that all of this happened after signing up for their monthly service, which they mistakenly charged me twice for. I only need my mechanic to A) effectively communicate what's going on and B) solve my car problems, both of which were fails at this location. Awful customer experience, I won't be returning

I came in because I suspected that my car was stuck in four-wheel-drive after the storm we recently…read morehad. I I had to have my car towed to the garage. After my car was towed to the garage, they reached out and told me that my transfer case was no good. The garage quoted me a bill of about $5000 to fix my car just to start and be able to use it again. Then, an additional $3000 to get it through DEQ with a code. I felt this was a lot of money for a car that wasn't worth that kind of money with the transfer case being gone. I sold my car to a mechanic who works with my type of car for a VERY LOW price because I was told it would need to be fixed to be used. The person who bought my car reached out to let me know that the transfer case was perfectly fine and the car was in fact stuck in four-wheel-drive. He was able to get it out of four-wheel-drive and repair it with about $1500. He was able to get the car working perfectly and passed DEQ. I am extremely frustrated because I sold my car for practically nothing and had to buy a new car. I recently saw the new owner with my car, it's perfectly fine. I have been going to Green Drop exclusively for a long time a member. I was about to bring my new car there and decided, I will not be returning. Since this interaction, I have had multiple mechanics look over previous repairs that have been done that did not need to be done on my vehicle or the price was not what it should've been.

I've been putting this updated review off for a while. I stopped going to Tigard Premier years ago…read morebecause of bad business practices. They used to have good mechanics but scared them all away it seems. One of the last times I had my car worked on, a mechanic came running out and was twitching. He was pale as a ghost and looked like he was on some serious meth. I believe in Equal Employment Opportunity but some people should be clean when working on vehicles because it can be dangerous. Case in point, I believe he is the one who worked on my vehicle. Fluids were all overfilled and I kept getting error codes lighting up my dashboard. Car never worked right after that. I kept bringing in my vehicle to have it looked at to no avail. Chris and Patrick would basically shrug their shoulders to my situation. I feel like they give better treatment to new cars than older ones. I'll give Chris a little credit because he tried to fix it himself and didn't charge me but in the end I had to give the car away because it was basically inoperable. Which sucks when you're out hundreds of dollars in "repairs" to them. I'm seeing lots of 5-star reviews from people with no profile picture and only 1 review which tells a lot right there. Take it from me an Honest Joe and spend your money on quality mechanics that believe in customer service and less on discrimination.
