Yes, I mentioned that I would prefer the panels be placed on the rear of the home if possible. That was simply an aesthetic preference and not a design requirement. I relied on the company's expertise to determine whether that placement would still allow the system to reasonably meet the goals discussed during the sales process. I also want to be clear that the system functioning is not the issue. We appear to agree that the equipment is producing energy as designed. The production numbers themselves have never been what I questioned. The concern I raised relates to how the system size and expectations were presented during the sales process. When we explored going solar, the conversations centered around offsetting most or all of our electric bill, which was the primary reason we decided to move forward with a $20,000 installation. If it had been clearly communicated that the system was intended to be a smaller "starter system" that would only offset a portion of our electricity usage, we likely would have approached the decision differently or waited until we had a longer utility history available. Another important point is that no written proposal or modeling documentation outlining the assumed household usage or projected offset was ever provided prior to signing. Because those design assumptions were never shared with us in writing, it has been difficult to understand how the system size was determined relative to our expected energy needs. As a result, we are now paying a monthly solar loan while still carrying a meaningful electric bill, which is not the outcome we understood or expected when making this investment. At this point, I have shared my experience and clarified the concerns raised. I do not intend to continue a public back-and-forth discussion on this review. My purpose in posting this update is simply to provide context so other homeowners researching solar know to request clear written modeling and offset assumptions before making a significant investment.

Poor communication and someone quit so my project got pushed to no-man zone- no one was taking care of my project or communicating clearly about what was going on. When I called back after they finally reached out, the guy said that the door to door people don't know the schedule and that they don't do assessments on the day that he scheduled. I said they might want to educate the people representing their company because I no longer want to do business and I also saw the bad reviews online about horrible communication. He told me "I am just an engineer, if I say anything it will fall on deaf ears" BIG RED FLAG OF A TOXIC COMPANY! When employees don't feel heard, there's many issues within. He proceeded to HANG UP ON ME when I told him he should try because he can make a difference especially if they are losing customers over poor training or scheduling with their outreach. AVOID AVOID AVOID this mess, and management, DO BETTER! I was threated with financial collections and fees for failing to allow the contract to start and that they would convert the contract to cash instead of loan If I did not comply.

He suggested using an older non-mesh router to provide a constant signal to the gateway. When I had trouble setting it up myself, I decided to call Aaron and Sunpath Services because I wanted to support a company that was so generous with their time and expertise. Aaron came out, quickly reconnected my gateway router to my Wi-Fi network, and made sure everything was working properly. He also provided helpful information on system upgrade options and ways to save money through government incentive programs if I decide to expand my system in the future. I talk to a lot of Solor company's and they are all pretty much the same , except for some like blue raven who are a trust ally with the Oregon energy trust which help my decision making. I would recommend them to anyone trying to save money on their electricity bill. A and R sent their sales person to our house and he got right to work. He went into our crawl space under the roof to make sure our roof was properly supported for the panels. That was a relief as the other place wanted to send a structural engineer to do that very simple job and charge us for it. Ridiculous. Our project was two years, so the crew may be slightly different, but they were great. When there was an issue, like that we didn't have electrical grounding, they just put in grounding bars. Amazing! They offer production guarantees which is rare for a solar company, like those ones that come door to door. lol A and R was professional, easy to work with and easy to communicate with. They were great to work with and took care of all the permit stuff. Now on sunny days we feel great watching our power meter running backward! Our system easily generates 3000 watts on sunny days, They even found an inverter that will give solar electricity during a power outage. We can log onto our inverter through our computer and watch the power generation data over time. Cant recommend these folks enough.

They asked for 50% down which it was no problem and then after the work was half done, they sent me an unauthorized charge on the quote and expect pay. The saying is when you get a quote that is what the customer is to pay if the company goes over shame on them, if it's under good for them. So please watch your last statement. Would I use use them again definitely not. Will I recommend them definitely not
