Went in for a quick dinner with our friends. First, our server did a great job for the 4 of us. The ambiance pretty much sucks because, with high ceilings and little or no sound dampening, conversation is an effort to say the least. Some attention should be paid to that. read more

Our first dinner outing in one of the most snowy days in Spokane this winter was here .. in Cascadia Public House .. 4 of us .. a 2 wheel drive .. in just a few miles .. we drifted on the street .. had to push our car in and out of the parking .. totally deserted roads made it a bit easier :D But all I could say .. the night was well worth it :) .. Right from the food to the ale to the service, everything was fabulous. We were seated right away .. that was kinda obvious given the night .. Since 3 people among us 4 were vegetarian and we were hungry and thirsty .. asked for almost all of the vegetarian starters .. sharables as they call them. Herbed fries, pretzels, hummus and bread, nachos .. too full to take on a main each we got them shared too .. The Impossible Burger it was .. yeah vegetarian again .. but well I am okay :) It was good too. Like the food .. the guy serving us was fantastic too .. cheerful and friendly :) All in all, the place has got a lovely vibe to it .. come and spend hours with your loved ones. This place was on my list weeks ago to try. I wanted more than anything to get there for breakfast so Sunday brunch it was! We love brunch. Seriously. Gimme a mimosa and some hollandaise sauce and I am super dang happy. Cascadia did great. We walked in and we're immediately able to seat ourselves. The mimosas were bomb. When you serve the mimosa in a wine glass vs a champagne glass I feel like you really get me. And the choices in champagne were sweet and subtle. I really enjoyed it. The breakfast was great. We did have to wait longer I'm assuming due to it being a Sunday but the food was really great. My husband had the deluxe breakfast and loved it. I shared the pancakes and the basic breakfast with the 4 year old. Overall great flavors and great service, will be back again. read more

To say I have a new favorite restaurant would be an understatement. We had the cheesesteak, Oregonzola salad, pretzel, and kids mac n cheese. Everything was amazing. The pretzel was fresh, steak cooked to perfection etc. I cannot say enough good things. Our drinks were amazing and the service was on point (thank you Amber!!) . I would have provided pictures of the food but I couldn't stop eating it. If you get a chance, you MUST come here. This is not the cheapest place to go, but more than worth every penny. read more

We've been to Cascadia many times since they opened but with the pandemic we haven't had the opportunity to go out and sit in a while. We had a great experience with Brooks on the patio. Cascadia has delicious food, all four of us were extremely happy with our entrees, and cocktails. Second time I've been here. Cool more modern place. They have some different offerings and options on the menu than other places. I do really enjoy their brussel sprouts as an appetizer! Their blackened salmon is so flavorful and tender. You can get that as a sandwich or in one of their salads. I think the upcharge is $1, but worth it! This recent visit I got the chicken BLAT salad, but turned it into a wrap plus fries for another $1. Delicious! Marking off a star because I've heard good things about their pretzel, but this is the second time I've been thwarted! They ran out again. :-/ Hopefully they have it next time because they are pretty far for me to travel to. Additionally we mentioned it was our friend's birthday, but our server didn't acknowledge it. We had a table reserved for a group of 8, however we ended up only with 6. My girlfriend and her husband had suggested this place, along with our daughter (who has been here prior), given that we were in town from Houston. The atmosphere was definitely PNW gastropub and we loved the vibe. Our server was amazing, and service was definitely top notch, which is bumping this to a 4 star from a 3 star. Our group ordered the pretzels and the drumsticks for appetizers. We all loved the drumsticks (we got half and half) and thought the pretzels were good. Only 1 person at our table liked the pretzel mustard-cheese sauce - me. Everyone else found it odd as if it couldn't make up its mind to be a mustard or a cheese sauce. I enjoyed it. Pretzels were hot and made perfectly. Definitely give them a try! Our group ordered the following for dinner: The Steak Dip, Mac & Cheese, Oregonzola Steak Salad, NW Salmon Caesar Salad, Chicken BSTA Salad, and Chicken Caesar Salad. The Steak Dip, Oregonzola Steak Salad, NW Salmon Caesar, and the Mac & Cheese all got two thumbs up. The Chicken BSTA salad and the Chicken Caesar salad both were just meh - nothing spectacular but not terrible either - typical chicken on a salad. Cascades is awesome! I was amazed to find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Spokane. We arrived right at the cut off for breakfast and the beginning of lunch. My biggest issue with them is that it's on their menu - even for happy hour, but they always say pretzels won't be ready for a few hours when we go in for them. I got the salad. Ordered off Postmates and figured it came with fries "salad can be served as a wrap with fries". I assumed the fries came. Why would a wrap be served with more carbs and not the salad? Found two beans in the salad- perhaps the bbq type. I almost gagged. What else could have fallen into food so carelessly prepared? We Yelped our way in here after a long day of searching up at Priest Lake for moose. Food was needed to cushion the total failure of seeing moose. It's really too bad that this spot isn't closer to home. We would be in there about daily. Hubby had the Cascadia burger with fries and I had the grilled bacon, onion, cheese and parm sandwich. Both were perfectly executed. Squishy, ooey gooey yum. Fries delicious. The whole place had the vibe of a local hang out, but it was cool if you were not a regular. Eating at Cascadia is the best decision I have ever made. And if you ignore the fact that I had my first date with my wife there, it still holds up. To start, we are always torn between the soft pretzels and the flatbread both are excellent. For the main course I am always split between the steak salad and one of their burgers (all of which can readily be made vegetarian, which brings me too another point, I'm pretty sure Cascadia has the best vegetarian selection of any non-vegetarian restaurant in town). For sides, the garlic fries are great, but don't sleep on the mac and cheese. I would highly recommend Cascadia if you haven't tried it yet. read more

WoW! What a find. This is a unique spot, with awesome happy hour and phenomenal food. The food is most locally sourced, quality and noted. Excellent GF options and beautifully presented. We ordered drinks (great pricing), a buffalo cauliflower flatbread (great kick), steak salad that was hearty and delectable, and a GF steak dip that was also wonderful, and really tasty rosemary Parmesan fries. Came in around 4 after we walked out on our usual place~ crowded with 1 person working. We sat down and felt so relaxed, comfortable place~we were greeted/served immediately by AJ. My husband had the pastrami/fries which he loved and I had the margherita flatbread~delish! They had a stout on tap which was incredible and hard to find dark beers for some reason.
