They let me know that you can always call ahead for them to make or keep a specific pizza to buy frozen for carryout or when the pizza kitchen is closed. Occasionally I'll be naughty and get a burger there cause they're just so good. They (almost always) season their burgers really well so it's super flavorful. Their appetizers are fun and unexpected as well. The staff is usually really chill. Donna, the owner, is the sweetest thing ever, and her husband is super sweet and fun but with some rough edges. I admit that the interior could really use a tune up but all their food and hospitality certainly make up for it.

To be honest, the pizza was actually very good. The crust was good, there were plenty of toppings, and it had good sauce and lots of cheese. For price, you get what you pay for. This isn't one of those chain restaurants - it has people who hand make pies and do a good job of it. I was out the door for $31.50 for a large pizza. Is this place for you? Well, do you like good pizza? If you do, pay your money and enjoy some. Also, if you see someone go into the back door, you might see their Christopher Walken Cooler - complete with his picture on the door. The staff was stretched so thin that I found myself putting food out and bussing tables during my son's rehearsal dinner. When we arrived, there weren't even enough tables and chairs set up for our guests, so our family helped set those up as well. What was especially frustrating is that we paid an additional fee for an event coordinator, as well as a fee to use the space. I'm still unclear about what those fees actually provided. I would have expected an event coordinator to make sure the space was ready, adequate staff was scheduled, and the event ran smoothly. That was not our experience. I initially chose not to leave a public review because I wanted to give management the opportunity to address my concerns directly. I emailed them after the event explaining our experience and received no response. I resent the email twice and still received no acknowledgment or response. That lack of communication is ultimately what prompted me to share our experience publicly. Again, the food was excellent and Sam and Brooke deserve recognition for working so hard. But for a special event that included additional charges for the space and event coordination, I expected a much higher level of planning, staffing, service, and follow-up.
