Our server Hagan was spot on amazing.. he recommended our wine which was amazing, and we took his recommendation on an appetizer. we had blackberry goat cheese flatbread. It was an amazing combination of layer flavors that layered together wonderfully. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and tender, the bison was the juiciest we've ever had in our life. The ambiance is beautiful walk into a cellar style restaurant with many wine selections. The food is amazing and very well thought out. We had the bacon wrapped meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and the onion with mushroom risotto as well as the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The flavors were amazing the combination of the risotto and the meatloaf was amazing. The chicken sandwich was succulent and flavorful with the proper amount of dressing required for the sandwich will be coming back again. Loved our first time going there. I experienced the restaurant within a large group of people. We had a reservation and they put our group on the balcony outdoors. We asked our waiter if they could maybe lower the shades so that the sun wouldn't be blinding us as we were out there and they said no. Our reservation pickup time came and we didn't have our food. We asked our tour group guide to please wait while we waited for our food to be delivered and then to be able to eat it. This place is amazing. It's not often that I find a place that i don't think that I can do better at home. The Harvest chicken was super flavorful and absolutely perfectly cooked. Just the right balance with the sweet potato and veggies its served over. And the sauce was incredible. Loved every bite. Ate it all and took nothing home. My wife had the ravioli and it was creamy and too much for her to finish. I wish I took pictures now. Holy cow, Im ver the moon with this food. Super good. Great atmosphere. This is the 2nd time I have made reservations here. This has been a few years apart because the first was awful. The food was circling with fruit flies, gnats or whatever they were. I thought well maybe it's a one time, so I pushed my fork and knife in and moved my food a bit when I did that and they just seemed to multiply right out of my food. I got so nauseous that I had to use their facilities to vomit because I seriously got sick. It's very dim and I guess it would be nice as a romantic ambiance, but it bothers me to think it's to cover up what you can see. Idk. Pricey to have that happen. I really was hoping for a better experience since it was for a graduation dinner for my daughter. Now several years later.. a Mothers Day dinner for my daughter and I. I noticed some of the same little flying bugs are the glasses and lighting on the table. Then I saw my husband swatting away in front of him. I asked what he did that for he said I am swatting at the gnats! I said "Oh damn." To myself. My other daughter on the other side of the table was waving her hand around in front of her. I asked what was wrong she said "Mom there are gnats!" Well I was disappointed once again. We all got our food just a few minutes after that. I ordered the 10oz ribeye so I could take some home. I cut in, looked good. I went in to take a bite and noticed a long blonde hair sitting on my ribeye and across my potatoes then I noticed the gnats circling around. I was done. I called for the waitress and showed her my plate. She said she saw it and was very sorry. She took my plate showed someone else and took it back. I then got up went to the bathroom because I noticed a manager and another wait staff taking chairs to the back room. I stopped the manager told him to please let the kitchen know not to make another plate for me I would not be eating or taking it home. I told him I was very certain and to please not bring anything out for me. I then let him know about the gnats. He said he was aware and very sorry but around this time of year they have this problem and they can't seem to stop them. I said thank you and had to use their bathroom to get rid of what I threw up in my mouth after that. I'm sorry to say I won't be doing that again. For the price we paid for the rest and the almost $40 I would have paid for my plate added to that I was very very disappointed and relieved I didn't have to pay for my ribeye plate. Please get it right. Fix the problem, it shouldn't be like this especially when things are expensive as it is and for things to be this wrong on special occasions. This is one of the reasons I like better lighting where I eat. I do wish I had taken a picture of everything but to hear the waitress say she saw what I did, made it. read more

During an Amarillo trip the menu looked good on the website and did not disappoint. I had the ribeye cooked to perfection and was incredibly tasty and very tender. Miles in and I realized that I failed to take into account the time change- our 7pm reservation wasn't going to work as we would get in at 9pm. One call and Jessica was so kind in letting me know that the kitchen would be open until 9:30 but we should be fine! Unexpected thunderstorm and some traffic got us to the restaurant at 9:22 ... I called in a few minutes earlier and Kylie was amazing with taking our order over the phone so that we did not hold up the kitchen. We were greeted and served by Sidney who was just the sweetest. All of our food was delicious - filets, shrimp, baked potato, veggies, mashed potatoes... everything was cooked to perfection with great flavor! Not one employee seemed put off by the fact that we rolled in at closing- that doesn't just happen! This restaurant is clearly managed well and has employees that enjoy their job! Sitting at the bar, I ordered the Sea Bass ($42) which I had once before about 4 months ago and it was prepared beautifully with a tiny bit of cream sauce served on jasmine rice and steamed veggies. But this time, when my fish arrived, it didn't look very appetizing covered with the greenish brown cream sauce. I took a bite and knew the fish was under cooked (gray in color and not flaky). Bartender took it back to the kitchen and it was a little bit of a wait but the manager returned with a new plate. Manger kind of apologized and told me that at C&C they prepare their fish medium sorry it wasn't to my liking the first time. Medium means the fish is opaque (not gray) and flaky...I don't think he knows what medium means when preparing fish. The fish was prepared properly this time but it was COVERED in the brown green cream sauce which totally ruined the whole plate. This is the third meal I've had there that is over priced and terribly prepared. I will not be going back and if I want a meal covered in gravy I will go to Denny's! read more

So happy I found this place! It was delicious all around! And excellent service too! The restaurant had two floors. We opted for the quickest route to food and sat indoors downstairs, but for a short wait we could've sat on the balcony patio upstairs. A bottle of water came out first with a plate of lemons, lime, oranges, and cucumber to flavor however you please. Then a variety plate of muffins (blueberry, snickerdoodle, chocolate) came next. The waiter also brought out a skewer of mixed berries for my daughter to snack on and I got some fries (with bacon) for the table. The boys both got a bloody Mary (made with house infused pepper vodka) and I got a white wine sangria (yummmm). I scoped out the menu ahead of time and had my sights set on the Blackberry, Ham, and Goat Cheese Pizza (with pistachios and a honey drizzle), and it was delicious. Hand tossed, with a perfectly charred crust! The boys got the chicken fried steak and the tamales and eggs. They both cleaned their plates. All three of us also had our own desserts. We met the GM Don, and the manager Eddie at Whiskey Cake in OKC. We were seated nearby and started chatting about the great food. We found out they're from Amarillo and that we should try Cask & Cork. Boy oh boy were they right! We had a hefty tab and it was well worth every penny! We had the charcuterie (shark coochie) board, several mixed drinks ( All of The Spice) being my favorite. We had surf and turf, rib eye steak, lobster, scallops, and pasta, for desert we had the lemon drop cake and the tiramisu! Love the way they serve the tiramisu! 10 STARS Guys! First day in Amarillo for work on 10/26/22 and this was the first placed I stopped by. It was amazing! Ordered bugolgi tacos and a ribeye steak which is dry aged for 60 days. Steak came out a little more rare than medium rare but it was still good regardless. Our server, Jessica, I believe, was great. Paid very much attention and likes to talk. My sister had been in touch with the event planner for this place. The hostess did not act welcoming at all and further, basically said she couldn't accommodate us, after the back and forth. But that she could seat 6 people at a time and we wouldn't get our food at the same time. At this point my sister, brother and I decided they truly didn't want our business. We have about 3-4 restaurants that we go to regularly. Went to one of them tonight and it was a disaster. Ended up leaving. Cask and Cork is our favorite for a lot of reasons - mainly they are consistent and intentional with building relationships with their customers. Needless to say, we left the disaster of a restaurant and went "home" to Cask and Cork and were met with open arms and familiar faces and outstanding service.
