We have about 3-4 restaurants that we go to regularly. Went to one of them tonight and it was a disaster. Ended up leaving. Cask and Cork is our favorite for a lot of reasons - mainly they are consistent and intentional with building relationships with their customers. Needless to say, we left the disaster of a restaurant and went "home" to Cask and Cork and were met with open arms and familiar faces and outstanding service. We lucked into finding this place for a lunch stop on a recent road trip. The service was impeccable and the food and drink amazing. At our large table, everyone was happy with their meal. I particularly liked the brussel sprouts. Several members of our party got cocktails and loved them. We were stuffed but still got dessert and ate every last bite. Will go again ! read more

We came for dinner on a Friday and had the best service with Chandler! We sat on the patio, which was lovely. We did not have a reservation, and the hostess was very accommodating- she even said she would place an order for a drink while we waited! Ended up being no need- we were seated quickly. -Great drinks for all tastes. Decided on a few apps and dinner. Everything was delicious! This has been BY FAR our favorite dining experience post-COVID. The restaurant is fully staffed with people who want to make your visit one to remember! Too slow took three hours to be served, it overrated, mainly for young businesses elite

Well we went to this place on Easter. They were serving brunch and had a great menu. First, the wait was long as we had to wait for 45 minutes. Second, the waiter I think his name was Brett was great. Thirdly, the brussel sprout salad was fresh and delicious. Fourthly, the wait for the rest of the food was an hour long which was way toooooooooo longggggg. Fifthly, the food when it finally arrived was amazing. I ordered a bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was big portion and packed full of flavor. My wife had the filet tornados which was delicious, but it was kind of lukewarm/cold which was a bit of a disappointment after such a long wait to be honest, but she still enjoyed it for sure. Last of all maybe it was the manager, but she came over and offered a complimentary dessert without us complaining or asking for anything and my wife got the crème Brule which by the way was the best she said she ever had. All in all would definitely go back and we honestly didn't know what to expect since it was our first time eating there, but if the wait is that long to get in and get our order next time we will go elsewhere. read more

This is the best place to get breakfast in my opinion! The cheesy hash browns are a must order plus a carafe of mimosas, you can't go wrong.

Went here last night and holy cow it was fantastic. This was my first time to Amarillo and now I cant wait to come back. Service was awesome, I had the Bulgogi Tacos for my app. A lot of places bulgogi marinade can be overly sweet and syrup like. Cask's is perfectly on that cusp of sweet and savory where a great bulgogi is supposed to be. I had the braised short rib with a side of broccolini for my main. The rib was dang near falling off the bone. Just gave it a gentle push with my knife and it slid right off and perfectly juicy. The mashed potatoes were light and fluffy with little chunks here and ther and perfectly seasoned. And the veg of the day, green beans, were expertly sauteed with a crisp crunch. The basalmic drizzle was the perfect pair to compliment and cut through the richness of the meat and potatoes. The creme brulee was lovely. The custard was silky smooth not super sweet which I was grateful for because there was a nice thick layer of burnt sugar and a mixed berry compote. The O Bee Hive Baby cocktail was divine as well. It has a lavender whiskey which is why i got it because I have never had something like that before. Normally if I see lavender in a drink it's typically as a syrup that overpowers everything. This lavender whiskey was nice and bright and light mixed expertly with some honey and lemon juice served hot. It was perfect for last night because of it being a little chilly. My server last night was also absolutely top notch. I cant remember his name unfortunately. Somewhat tall and slender. Righteous beard. If the owners see this i hope he gets some kind of kudos or something because he was truly one of the best servers I've had in such a long time. read more

My family loves Cask and Cork and we eat here often. They have more formal dining downstairs and the upstairs is a more casual dining/hangout area. I love the outdoor seating in the fall and spring and sometimes they have a band adding to the ambiance. The food is always delicious, they have a fantastic wine selection and bar menu, and the service is spot on. I love that it is locally owned. read more

This place has a gentrified look to it, really cute and modern. We came in and the man at the front asked if we had reservations. We said we didn't and almost got turned away. We did end up getting a table near the bar(I think because of our friend). There is dining and a bar area The waiter took at least 5 minutes to come greet us, and another 10 for our drinks. We ordered our food, (all sandwiches) which took around 20 mins. We also ordered an appetizer "to start off with" but when we got it the food came with it. When we got the food we didn't get silverware or napkins we had to ask. The napkins were actually really small paper ones, kinda weird for a place that requires reservations. We also had to wait a long time for the napkins as well I had the chicken sandwich, it was really good flavor, but a little dry. I did opt out of the lemon - cilantro paste for mine. The ranch was homemade and really good. They have two levels the upper one is outdoors but it was cold and windy up there. They have a bar upstairs as well. read more

I am very disappointed in the food. It is below average at best. The calamari was not over cooked so that's the one star. The Cuban sandwich was horrible. The bloody marry was good and very small like kids size for $10 it is a complete rip off. The server was unmasked and literally on top of us when she was at our table. One of the best restaurants in Amarillo. Me and a friend stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon and ordered off their brunch menu. I had the Chef's Tenderloin which was the BEST beef tenderloin I've ever had. Came with some delicious garlic mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. My friend had the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs which was also tender and tasty. Neither rone of us a big desert eaters but we thought we would give it a shot so I got the bread pudding and he got the blackberry cobbler. Both came with ice cream and both were amazing. Never again on Valentine's. Made an early reservation for 6:45 PM. Seated immediately tho we were 25 minutes early. Wait staff came promptly with water. Asked for our salad requests at 6:30 pm. Received our salads at 7:30 PM. Wes, the waiter, was very apologetic throughout the evening for the long delay. That does not help when you have plans after the meal. Have eaten here 2 other times. There was no delay. Lobster Fettuccine was ok, but not worth waiting 1 hour 20 min to receive. Someone did a terrible job of preparing for this holiday. read more

Met friends for dinner and was quite pleased to find a place in Amarillo that served quality beef. Cocktails were very well done and good wine selection. Only negative was the wedge and Caesar salad were brought out when the entrees were served and the restaurant is quite noisy. Would have given 5 stars otherwise. Split the 16 oz ribeye with partner and was excellent and plenty for both. The bread pudding topped off the evening and although different from other bread puddings, it was one of the best we have had. We went here on our first date, and it was an excellent choice! I recommend the roof top patio seating if the weather permits. Sarah was our waitress, and was excellent. Attentive but not pushy, very personable. We both went with the ribeye. Both came out cooked perfectly. To top all of this off, there was live music throughout the meal. I had it recently for a close friend's birthday dinner, and it made me sick for days. Cask & Cork was pretty cool! The food was unbelievably delicious. I once came in and had just finished a basketball game and won and we wanted to come and eat there as a celebration. Apparently there is a dress code. We all looked cute and casual, not wearing dresses or jewelry. We came in and they tried to kick us upstairs so people couldn't see us. This was during winter so we were like no. She asked us again and we said no thanks. That was very disappointing but, we came in again later after watching the Nutcracker so, we were all very fancy and I was actually very satisfied that time.
